A cute little taproom in truckee - came here after a friend recommended and we were not disappointed ! All I wanted for an afternoon snack was a beer hall pretzel and some mustard and lo and behold we walked by this place. Friendly staff, clean and perhaps spartan interior, lovely outdoor seating area although it did rain and we had to move inside. Thank you guys so much for having a red ale, so tired of going to breweries with 11 IPA's and nothing else. Overall, a great space, although $65 for a hoodie was a bit too rich for my blood. We stopped by for lunch on Sunday afternoon. They have a huge beer selection and a unique menu. We ordered the Caprese sliders and a Kale Caesar salad to share and a beer flight and Kolsch. They were out of kale, but offered to make the salad with the house lettuce. Both the sandwiches and salad were delicious with a lot of flavor. We enjoyed our beer as well. The bartender/server was nice and the food came quickly. We will definitely be back! read more

This place is an excellent spot in Truckee. The beer menu is always excellent and rotating. They have canned beer to go or pour on site. They have a small, delicious food menu and the staff are always super friendly. The outdoor area is excellent. It is kid and dog friendly and a close walk to all the shops and restaurants downtown. read more

Cute, modern looking bar with a wide range of Northern California beers and small bites to accompany them. The outdoor seating area is a great place for a drink with friends/family if you're in Truckee. Although I appreciate the rustic 50s era decor you'll find in most of the Tahoe area, it's refreshing to see people going a different way with this. When we were there, music wasn't playing so it had a quiet vibe but that was probably cause we were early. I think if they had a well curated and mellow music selection, it would be awesome. read more

"Friendly people Great Beer, Good Music" This is my first visit to this business, but it won't be the last. This is a brand new facility with a large interior with tons of tables, both low and high top tables. There's also a huge outside seating area with heaters, of course. I was pleasantly surprised they had a professional musician Mike Sinclair, singing songs in the lower patio. They have a huge beer selection, at reasonable prices. Today I got two different lagers, which were just what the doctor ordered. Don't overlook the food menu. They have quite a few light bites, in the categories nibbles, craft board, sliders, and logical greens. They also have nightly specials. Today, I got the Italian sub salad, and my wife got the beer cheese nachos. Special thanks to the friendly, helpful bartender,Nate. He really made our visit a pleasant one. The best dog-friendly place in downtown Truckee. We have been bringing our pup here since we got her. The outdoor seating is spacious, giving your pup enough room to move around while safely tucked by your table. The owner and entire staff are friendly, helpful,l and dog-friendly. Beer - the beers are tasty, and the staff all have solid recommendations on the beers based on your requests. Inside is delightful and bright, with the largest bar in all of Truckee + additional table seating. If this was not enough - there are beautiful clean bathrooms inside. We had beer and snacks here a few days ago. We tried a flight of beer - the Californian- all of the beers were great. Then we had the pretzel (absolutely amazing), the kimchi deviled eggs (overcooked but the flavor was great), and the kale salad (very flavorful, leaves were tenderized, although I'd recommend chopping them up a bit more). My husband and I visited on a weekend trip to Truckee and literally loved Craft + Logic so much that we went back the next day! We started off our mornings hiking some of the trails above Lake Tahoe and Donner Lake, and by the time we were finished a beer sounded really good! Spoiler alert: they were delicious. We stuck to the sours and IPAs (our favorite beers in general). Scott and Nate had such knowledge of each of the beers on tap and gave great recommendations. (And their kindness is what makes me want to write a review bc I want this place to thrive!!!) On top of the beer and food being yummy (check out the pretzels wow), the overall atmosphere and aesthetics of the taproom were lovely. (Anyone who can make a place feel cool + modern but also incorporate fresh flowers wins in my book.) There were people working, hanging out with a large group of friends, watching sports at the bar, and families hanging out outside. We felt really comfortable and welcomed having our baby with us which we were grateful for! read more

I had the unfortunate experience of meeting the owners. Not only was the food stale and unpleasant, they regarded me with such distaste, i feel unwelcomed to their establishment. Beer was great. However we have a service animal and even with that were asked to sit on the patio in 92deg. After clarifying she was a service animal (even with her service vest on) the bartender begrudgingly said we could sit inside. Never felt more excluded. Rude service by the bartender. We love the new remodel of this spot! The staff and owners are very attentive, knowledgeable, and welcoming. We only ordered a few apps with our drinks. The table loved the Kimchi deviled eggs and Pretzel sticks & beer fondue. I ordered extra beer cheese with the pretzels, so the photo posted has extra beer cheese. For reference, the normal portion is the same size as the whole grain mustard in the pic as well. Definitely recommend coming in for a few drinks and small bites. read more

Overall, great experience. Beer was tasty and selection was phenomenal. The only thing lacking was their food menu. The shredded chicken sliders were not great, most of table tried it and agreed. For years now, I've been saying these guys make some of the best, most unique beers in our area. And anyone looking for a solid pint or some creative things to try, would do well to swing by. Firstly, I absolutely love the location. It's a cozy little spot in the north Truckee industrial area. But step through the doors, and you enter a space that can only be described as a mix of hippy commune and witch's lair, with some delightfully quirky decor, and an incredibly friendly staff. Really does feel like a hidden gem. But as for r the beers themselves; in short, I think these are some of the best quality, and most niche types of brews you'll find around here. They have a smaller menu, but what they have is dominated by their Forest Beer series. These are concoctions made with all sorts of foraged ingredients from the forests, fields, and farms close to Truckee. Always changing, it is something to try out. The Borrowed Bines used fresh cut hops, the Bay Shore uses locally culled bay leaves, the Range of Light uses picked juniper berries, and the Dirt Candy uses mushrooms that grow in the woods. They also have been breaking into brewing their own apple cider, which is delicious but quite strong. Plus, they will usually have N/A options with their house lemonade or brewed soda on tap, too. So yeah, the menu almost certainly has something for everyone. Prices for everything are pretty typical.for the area, usually around $8-9 per pint. Though my one sort of gripe is that the smaller 4-5 ounce tasters are like $4 each, a bit pricier than most other tasters, so that makes it quickly more pricy to try out a lot of their menu. If you want any beers to-go, sadly they only offer a few at this juncture, and in bottles. And there is no food here, just a few snacks for sale. But make sure to browse their swag stands, as they have some eclectic merch. All in all, I definitely encourage any beer fans to come and check this spot out. The food came out (not from our waitress) it, tasted decent, but $16 for a kids meal is outrageous (especially when it doesn't come with a drink ) We never saw our waitress again after she dropped off the beer menu until she asked if we wanted the check, then she TOLD me the price and held the iPhone up for me to pay--like, no paper check at all to review and you aren't even gonna let me hold the iPhone to pay with privacy? Because the tip will reflect the service... They also stated on the menu that they charged $ .50 for any ' sauce' requests...which is so weird considering that none of the meals were cheap. Not sure if they followed through with this because I couldn't actually view my check. Super disappointed in the experience overall, there seems to be a lot of places in the area to eat, I'd reconsider coming to this one.

What a great find here in Truckee! We happened to stumble upon Alibi when another beer hall ended…read moreup being closed for the night and were happy we did. Alibi was a cool spot with awesome wall art inside their bar and in the adjacent dining area. You order at the bar and can choose either scene to enjoy your food and drinks. The dining hall was more lit and made a cozy spot to catch up with friends without too much loud noise. I ordered their seasonal Asian Wonton Salad ($15) with a sweet dressing and loads of cabbage, carrots, and onions, and it was a refreshing bite to pair with my draft beer. Drinks were fairly prices and had a great selection of local choices. If I'm ever back in warmer weather, would definitely enjoy checking out the outside patios.

The location is great, right across from Donner Lake, but I just can't see myself returning based on the prices. Service was okay, food delivery was slow and our choices didn't come out together. Very little interaction from the service staff. Looks like they have a good bar and there were several people having drinks. If you don't mind the expense, give it a shot.
