We walked into Fifty Fifty hoping they might be able to help, and from the moment we arrived, the hostesses and front-of-house staff immediately jumped into action. They quickly put together a beautiful outdoor table for my sister and her fiancé to walk up to. They were genuinely excited to help, assisted me with decorating, and even found candles to make the setup feel extra special. Our server was just as incredible--he immediately brought out champagne and even helped us blow up balloons! I am so grateful to the entire team for going above and beyond to make such a last-minute celebration unforgettable. Love the new space, it's modern, vibrant, and cozy. The place was packed on a Sunday night, which is always a good sign. We came in with a large group of 18 and the team handled it smoothly. Food came out quickly, which was impressive for such a big party. The appetizer meatballs were delicious, and I had the veggie burger with chimichurri aioli which was also really good, it tasted like a handmade veggie patty, not one of those overly processed Impossible-style burgers One small note from our table: the veggies (asparagus + broccoli) were almost too salty to eat. There's no parking available ever +/-2 hours around main mealtimes, in the parking lot or nearby streets. The interior of the building is like a warehouse, cavernous, too loud and echoing. Service was slow and not friendly on both visits, the first time seated in the middle of the warehouse space and only enough time to have a salad by the time I had to leave again. The beer I drank was forgettable. Second time I arrived to watch a local live band, hostess immediately told me 'no food upstairs' so I guess I won't be eating even though I'm hungry at dinner time? Our actual server was nice, friendly, and helpful but staff who delivered the food not very friendly or helpful and service very slow. We were a party of 6, ordered 2 shared plates (short rib poutine and chicken wings), then also ordered the short rib stroganoff, garlic and herb salmon, pork schnitzel, flat iron steak, and the double cut pork chop. Drinks arrived and then we waited about 30 minutes for the shared plates, then another 30 minutes for most of the entrées, but one side and one entree was missing, and had to wait for those items another 15 minutes. I was told they were out of any potatoes but fries and also the purple sweet potato puree listed as the side for the pork chop, with options limited to fries. Yet, when entrées arrived, the salmon dish had the purple sweet potato puree? The pork chop was so dry it crunched like chichiarron. My family enjoyed the flat iron steak, the short rib poutine, the chicken wings, and the stroganoff. The schnitzel itself was decent but the gravy was not warm and it was missing the potato pancake. The salmon was a little overcooked. Our server was kind and helpful. He did take the delayed schnitzel off the bill. The drinks were good. We may never know as he only came back to bring our check and sheepishly asked if we wanted to order our drink now. I picked at the inside of a few that were soft but not of them were just rock hard and overcooked or overheated. The asparagus was good. The fries were good. In addition to the beer, which was good, we also had buffalo cauliflower and the fried chicken sando with onion rings. I'm a big onion ring fan and these just didn't do it for me. We waited an hour and ten minutes just to be seated. It was undeniably a chaotic night, as the establishment was completely packed for the England vs. Mexico World Cup match. While it was clear that demand was through the roof--with crowds of people being told the wait was 2 hours or more at the door--the venue's internal operations simply collapsed under the pressure. The core products were great. The food we managed to get was very good as were the cocktails. However, management completely failed on inventory control; they were entirely out of almost every appetizer on the menu. The worst part was our experience with Maci, one of the hostesses. After being quite rude at the front desk she later walked past us, turned and looked right at us, then chose to stand directly in front of the TV screen, completely blocking our view of the match (while the other hostess ducked down so as not to block our view). Maci's actions showed a total lack of training and customer awareness. The floor staff were the only reason we stayed. The restaurant was completely slammed, and management clearly left the servers running around without any direction, leadership, or support. Despite the chaotic atmosphere and evident lack of internal organization, the individual servers did their absolute best to be helpful, kind, and accommodating under very busy conditions. The establishment has immense potential, but leadership needs to work out a massive amount of operational kinks. We won't be back until management trains their front-desk staff and properly supports their hardworking floor crew. read more

We got the cheese curds for appetizer and man they were delish. They were served with a chimichurri sauce that was divine!! We ordered various burgers and sandwiches and pizza for entrees. The chicken sando was tasty, Philly cheesesteak needed more sauce. Cheese pizza was ok but came out later than everything else.
