Upon first glance, this place had a great selection. After taking a closer look, about half of the beers were pretty old. My boyfriend is a brewer and checks dates on everything before he buys it. Some of the beers were over a year old. Yikes! We asked for some help with choosing a local beer and the guy working there knew nothing about beer and said said he had no idea. How are you going to work at a bottle shop with no beer knowledge? The prices were absolutely outrageous. My boyfriend and I love this place! We have been coming here ever since we moved to Williamsburg and the selection is absolutely unreal. From stouts to IPAs to pale ales, this place has it all! They even have a great selection on draft! The men who work in the store are so friendly and helpful. They have given us items for free from different breweries and also send out a weekly email that lists all the new beers they have in stock that week. These guys are so cool they even take requests and try their best to stock up on any beer your heart desires. A couple weeks ago they had a case of KBS from Founder's. How many liquor/beer stores do you know have KBS in stock? I'm leaving Williamsburg soon to move to Astoria, but I can tell you the one thing I'll miss about Williamsburg is this store. read more

They didn't have a flavor of vape juice my friend wanted and they offered to order it for us, unfortunately we leave tomorrow so we couldn't take them up on that offer. This place is so convenient and so much fun! The guy who runs the place is super knowledgable and helpful. He even helped carry some stuff when I couldn't handle it all. The store itself is very clean, has a big selection of really good craft beers, cigars, American made cape juice and a variety of pipes for dry stuff and liquid stuff. It fulfills a lot of bodega needs but in a cleaner, more bright environment. Looks like a normal bodega-type establishment both inside and out but upon closer inspection, you'll find an overwhelming variety of craft beer! We spent a good 10 minutes or so exploring all the available options and once we settled up and paid, the cashier (who also seemed to be the owner) recognized it was our first time and gave us a free evil twin glass to take home.
