This place has it ALL. I have a party to attend, specifically a Sour Beer Tasting party. 20+ people invited. If you go to your local stores, they do not carry more than 3 brands of probably the same sour. I didn't want to be one of the same Schmucks bringing a duplicate beer to the party. So I did a google search that led me to this location. I've never seen a better selection of beers in my life, all in one location, warm and cold selection! Craft Beer City is a magical place. I had this bookmarked for months and months before finally making a pilgrimage recently. If you're a craft beer aficionado, brewhead, someone interested in checking out craft beer, or just need a six-pack through the drive-thru, this is the place. Being that I live in Lake Worth, I never go up to Jupiter for anything -- outside of their craft beer festival every year (which is really Abacoa, but that's being technical). This is the first place where I went out of my way to go check out. Granted, it's only a 25 minute drive from Lake Worth (35 from my office in Boca, which is where I came from on my first excursion). So it's not as if I was driving to Orlando or Tampa -- because us SFLers make an hour-long drive sound like a week-long journey. But I digress. Located on Center St, Craft Beer City is easy to locate, next to the Nook (another place I have to check out). Parking is ample, and was able to do find a space facing the front door. When you walk inside, you feel like you're entering some craft beer mecca, I felt I should be hearing a choir harmonizing in soprano in some pew with white light beaming from the heavens onto the shelves upon shelves, fridges upon fridges of glorious four and six-packs, bombers, and individual bottles and cans of craft beer. If you're a big believer in growlers, they have at least 8-12 taps of different beers that they can fill up for you. I felt as if I was on holy ground being blessed by the deities of past brewers from centuries ago now saints amongst the stars. They have great bomber selections by brewers such as Grimm, Crooked Stave, Clown Shoes, Jolly Pumpkin, Libertine, Off Color, Prairie and more. They have several bombers, bottles, and cans of craft beer from brewers all across Florida, including Darwin, Coppertail, Hourglass, Due South, Funky Buddha, JDubs, amongst many others. I was surprised to be able to purchase not only a four-pack of Founders KBS but also grab a couple of bottles from their 2013 batch. I credit the two people working there for being patient as I methodically sifted through the shelves and fridges for my carefully thought-out selections. I'm sure I spent at least an hour there as I examined, took pictures, picked out bottles, and took in the gloriousness of the place. Additionally, I loved the drive-thru they had where you can pull up and receive your order or ask for something on the go. They have this super-cool, large sliding door they open behind the counter where they receive someone using the drive-thru. Definitely, not something you see every much. Similar to an old package door. Like I said, really cool place. I recall going to Sunset Corners in South Miami last year and wishing we had something like this in PBC -- outside of the conglomerate chains such as Total Wine and ABC. Thanks to Yelp, I discovered CBC, a true gem for brewheads like me who continue to search for great craft beer by brewers we may not have known or releases by brewers we may not have known were available. read more

A first timer. I was greeted as i entered the store, I think it was the deer in the headlight look, lots to choose from. A short tour of the store was given, bombers, sixers, singles, growler fills, nice selection, nice heh heh. The store has a drive thru pick up and it was busy, ding...the guys were pretty quick to wait on the cars. Not for me i never know what i want. I browsed a bit and asked about a 'thing" at the growler bar, a pegas craft beer filler, pretty cool. Fills the growler efficiently and quickly. I liked the growler station, revolving taps too. Ill be back to do that. Place is clean, stocked, and seems to turn their beer over pretty quick. I'm not certain you can say that about the big box craft places, shop local. read more

Yup, I'm a fan. A solid craft beer shop w/ a very good selection. A craft beer fan will certainly be able to find something they like or are curious to try. Prices seem fair. Growler selection was good. I'm not a local so it was nice to see craft options I was not familiar with. Overall, a great go-to spot for beer. I'll be back next spring! read more

Never talk to my gf when we go in together, overlook her like she isn't part of the boys' club, even though she is savvy with craft beer and usually pays for our beer (still they give me the change). Great selection and service, they can always steer you towards what you like rather than just selling random beer.

1. They have a great selection of local craft beer, statewide craft beer, and countrywide craft beers depending on the region and types you like. My feeling is if you can't find a bottle or can of something you like here then something might be wrong with you. 2. Prices...not cheap but acceptable for the selection and convenience. This place can pair nicely with a fish sandwich from Dune Dog around the corner...I'm just saying it should be part of your outing. 3. TAP/KEG CRAFT BEER!!! I picked up a Strawberry IPA they got in on Saturday from Cigar City abv 7.5% and I just brought in a Twisted Trunk growler I had and they cleaned it out and filled it up. They carry about 6-8 good ones at a time. MIA double IPA was there as well. You should definitely get on the growler system, not super cheap but you're getting access to beers you wouldn't otherwise. And you get to take them home and enjoy while watching sports on your TV without all the nutjobs while still enjoying a craft draft in your home. WINNER!!! Get in your car and start driving, you'll thank me later. read more

I went recently to Tina's Beer City to buy a keg of beer and fill my CO2 tank for my kegerator. When I got home, I hooked up my CO2 regulator, and I was only given a 350 PSI fill - that's not enough to dispense even 1/2 keg. I went back the next day, and when I explained the problem with the CO2 fill, she asked me who filled it (and it was she who had filled it just the day before). She said that she would fill it again, but that she would have to charge me again (from the same old, almost empty CO2 tank). I was screwed out of $15.75 for a 5 lb CO2 tank fill (I figured out that I was given about 25 to 50 cents worth of CO2), and when I asked for a refund for the bad fill, she told me to leave her store. I eventually found a place that would fill my tank for about $10.00, and it was a clean fill at 950 PSI (by the way, 90% of the CO2 is gone once your tank pressure falls below 800 PSI). Once I had the tank filled, I tapped my keg, AND THE BEER WAS STALE!!!! She doesn't run an honest business, and I would suggest that you avoid doing any business there. The bottled beers and wine there are covered with dust, so it's probably stale too. Do yourself a favor and drive the extra few miles to Total Wine in Palm Beach Gardens. It costs less there, and it's guaranteed to be fresh. NEVER get you CO2 tank filled there! You can get a true fill at City Discount Bev, 793 Northlake Blvd (561 842-8050) . Their rate is $10 for a 5 lb fill, $20 for a 10 lb fill. read more
