Blistered Shishito Japanese Peppers appetizer
Steve K.

Our Gang of Four enjoyed diner at Stormhouse Brewing during Sunday football. Large selection of draught brewskies, and promotion priced before 6pm. Blistered Shishito Japanese Peppers appetizer was tasty and unique. Pierogi appetizer was also special. Fish and Chips were dried out...suspect mistakenly fried too long. Will give a second chance. Sports bar ambiance. Attentive service. Wanted something light for a change...enjoyed "Florida Light" brewsky with more flavor than I expected.

Canned gross nachos. Skip it.

Our bartender was great; the speaker for the trivia was WAY too loud (ok that's on us for going on a trivia night) we had the nachos: GROSS, "cheese" had zero flavor "chili" HAD to be out of a can...... I gave two stars vs. one cause I MIGHT decide to go back on a non trivia night and sample something other than nachos. Beer was decent, wish they had to go packs, I'm still going to cross my fingers for this one

Enjoyed the food here while I was on vacation. Lots of tables and space when I visited. The burger was delicious and they have very generous portions. Also had to snag some wings during HH pricing and they were pretty good. We didn't go for their super spicy sauce but they brought a small sample and we found ourselves dipping our wings in it. If you really can handle your heat, their spicy sauce was legit--like ghost pepper/Carolina Reaper spicy--but also tasted good which is key. My sister isn't a huge beer drinker but she was able to find something she enjoyed so nice varied brews here.

Beer and wifi, Stormhouse was my afternoon "office" as I sat at a table with a power outlet nearby. I was able to enjoy an adult beverage and write a few emails while spending some time in a comfortable air conditioned spot. The Stormhouse "Florida Lite" was a very tasty light beer that allowed me to keep mostly near my keto eating regime and their cobb salad worked out well for lunch. Service was decent. Attentive with a bartender who checked on me often enough and ensured I was needing nothing at all. My only complaint here is the tight parking lot. It was a bit of a challenge with the Sprinter van but I managed it. On a busy weekend evening, this place is definitely going to be packed. Really enjoyed our time at Stormhouse Brewing in Juno Ridge. The staff was super friendly and on top of it--our beers came out quickly, and everyone we interacted with was welcoming and attentive. The food was solid all around, with great flavors and a fun menu. I had the mahi sandwich, which tasted great but could've used a bit more fish in the portion. Still, not a dealbreaker. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting--perfect for a casual date or grabbing drinks with friends. Great beer, good vibes, and a place I'd definitely come back to. 10/10 recommend!

Been here twice in 2 days- music bingo definitely helped fill this place up. Cloudburst is a solid beer at only 6%- not quite a session beer but pretty close. Had the stormhouse boneless wings- solid choice and a good heat to them. Didn't come with celery and carrots which they should have. Cobb salad is plentiful and fresh. The honey mustard dressing is solid and blackened shrimp were tasty I added to the dish. I had Brian serving me at the bar both nights and Cameron helping on the second night. They are both attentive, friendly and work well together. They both handled a packed bar and dining room with ease and hustle to make it look easy- well done!

This place is in a stellar location and the ambiance is stellar. Great food, drinks, and service! If you're in the area this is a must visit!

Patty melt was great. The house made fries were next level fries. They take time and skill to make and Stormhouse knows what they're doing.

Service was ok. Somewhat uninspired but maybe because we walked in at 11am and were the only people there on a Saturday. Food was very good and we loved the house brewed beers. Would definitely recommend this place. It has outside seating and is a huge restaurant.

Love. This. Brewery. I can remember when I saw the signs for coming soon! Since their doors opened, we've been fans. Great beers on tap, great food too! We love how kid friendly this brewery is. They are super laid back. We try and go to most of their events: Oktoberfest, st. Patrick's day, etc. etc. The service is great! And they now serve liquor as well. So those who are not beer drinkers have options too!

It is part of a yacht club setting. There were four in our party and when we arrived around 5:00pm there weren't too many guests but the scenery overlooking the water was what I was hoping for after doing my research on Yelp. The sign said seat yourself so we spoke to one of the staff and were told take any table without menus on it. If there are menus on the table it's reserved. We saw a table with 4 menus and said that must be ours as we made a reservation and we all laughed.. We were given two menus each (early bird & regular each had nice choices. For the table we order the Fried Zucchini as an appetizer and it was perfect. For dinner one in our party ordered the Chicken Piccata off the early bird, another the Mahi Mahi off the regular menu. My wife and I each had the Penni Ali vodka from the regular menu.. when our dinners arrived the portions were of good size and hot. Each of us were extremely happy with our choices. As I mentioned what a gem!!! If you choose to try this restaurant I hope you'll be as happy, excited & pleased as we were last night..

We were able to put in an order for drinks (I just had water) and the cheesesteak eggroll appetizers. I didn't get a photo of them because they were all gone before I could. They were cheese and hot. There was a good amount of meat inside of them and they were good. I ordered the chicken caesar salad wrap and it was huge and I had to take half home. It was very tasty. It came with fries as well which came out hot and fresh. My daughter had a steak sandwich which she said was delicious and really enjoyed. She also took half of the sandwich home since she was full. They had comfortable seating and there were TVs around to show sports that would be playing. The lighting was a bit dim, but after being out in the sun we didn't mind that at all (but it can be seen in the yellowish color of the food photos below).

I found them to be refreshing, well-balanced, and easily one of the highlights of the meal. For appetizers, we ordered the short rib sliders. They had good flavor, but unfortunately the meat was a bit overcooked. Our entrée, the Wagyu steak noodle bowl, was an improvement, although the noodles seemed like they were left sitting in water too long, leaving them softer than they should have been. I wouldn't say the food was bad, but it also wasn't memorable enough to make me eager to order it again. The real standout was the atmosphere. Tap 42 has a lively, inviting ambiance that's perfect for a relaxed lunch or meeting up with friends. The biggest reason for my 4 star rating, however, was our server, Nicole. She was friendly, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcome throughout the meal. Her outstanding service elevated the entire experience and turned what could have been a 3 star visit into a solid 4 star one. Great service can make all the difference, and Nicole certainly did.

While everyone else leaned into pancakes and eggs, I went straight for the club sandwich -- and wow. First of all, the portion size is HUGE. Whether you're a die-hard breakfast fan or someone like me who'd rather have lunch any time of day, Sara's Kitchen is a fantastic choice. Our wait time was around 20 minutes and then our party of 6 was seated (3 adults, 3 kids). Our drink order was promptly taken, and we had a moment to browse the menu. My son went with the Mickey pancake and side of bacon, with a kids apple juice. I was torn between trying their French toast or keeping it simple and getting a breakfast sandwich. I ended up selecting the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich with a side of seasoned fries, with an extra sweet Arnold Palmer. Wait time for food did not feel exceptionally long. Everything looked great upon table placement. My bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich was tasty. However, the egg-to-bacon ratio was a bit off. The small portion of bacon I did have was stacked into the center of the sandwich, making it difficult to enjoy in each bite, while the egg overpowered the overall flavor. The seasoned fries, however, were absolutely delicious. My son devoured his Mickey pancake. His bacon was a bit overcooked, which made it less appealing to him, but I had no issue adding it to my sandwich, fixing the scarcity issue there. I would most certainly return.

On our drive home from Miami to Jacksonville, we traded Interstate 95 for the slower, more scenic A1A. It made for beautiful views, but after crawling through one coastal town after another, lunch became a priority. A quick search landed us at Stage Kitchen & Bar on PGA Boulevard, a restaurant I later learned had earned a place in the 2025 Michelin Guide. After one meal, it was easy to understand why. We began with two appetizers that could not have been more different, duck confit egg rolls and a grilled cheese. Calling the grilled cheese "just a grilled cheese" would be unfair. Brie melted between perfectly griddled bread kissed with white truffle oil already sounds luxurious. Pair it with a bright mango jam and suddenly a childhood comfort food becomes something unexpectedly elegant. Richness met sweetness in all the right proportions. The duck confit egg rolls were equally memorable. The duck was deeply seasoned with Middle Eastern spices, giving each bite layers of warm, savory flavor. The accompanying peanut chutney added sweetness, nuttiness, and just enough contrast to keep the dish from becoming too heavy. These egg rolls packed far more personality than their modest appearance suggested. For lunch, my wife ordered the grilled black grouper sandwich. The fish, sourced fresh from local suppliers, was flaky, moist, and clean tasting. Lettuce, tomato, onion, and a malt vinegar aioli gave the sandwich brightness without overwhelming the fish. It was simple, balanced, and exactly what a fresh fish sandwich should be. I chose Stage's signature burger, two Certified Angus Beef patties topped with aged white cheddar, caramelized onions, sunflower sprouts, and their house "fancy sauce." This is the kind of burger that reminds you why burgers became America's favorite sandwich in the first place. Cooked to a juicy medium, every bite was rich without becoming heavy. The caramelized onions added sweetness, the white cheddar delivered sharpness, and the sunflower sprouts provided freshness and texture. The fancy sauce contributed just enough heat to keep everything interesting without stealing the spotlight. Dessert continued the restaurant's habit of taking familiar flavors and giving them thoughtful refinement. My sticky rice ice cream, finished with mango sauce and toasted coconut, captured everything I love about mango sticky rice while transforming it into something lighter and more playful. It was creative without feeling gimmicky. My wife ordered three macarons from local pastry maker Macaroner, S'mores, Passion Fruit, and Lime Coconut. Each shell was delicately crisp before giving way to a soft, airy center, exactly as a proper macaron should. Stage Kitchen & Bar takes familiar dishes and quietly elevates them through technique, quality ingredients, and restraint. Nothing feels overcomplicated or designed simply to impress. Every plate feels carefully considered. Sometimes trusting Google is a gamble. This time, it paid off. Great restaurants don't always announce themselves. Sometimes they're simply waiting for hungry travelers willing to take the next exit.
