El Camino Mexican Restaurant Delray

If you are finding a quaint and relaxing thing to do with loved ones, I strongly recommend this walking tour. Matt makes the experience relaxing and quite interesting. The off the beating path restaurant and specialty stores are fun and educational. Take a deep breath and enjoy the food, drink and sights.

What a great experience, the tour guide was super knowledgeable about the history of the city, the restaurant, and the food being served. I have never done a tour like this but would highly recommend Craft Food Tours. During the tour, we were actually stopped by a couple that returned to the restaurant we were at because they had been there on a previous tour with Craft Food tour. I would definitely recommend this tour to my friends, so much fun!

I've been to both the Delray and Ft. Lauderdale food tour and they both were a fun activity to do. We met people from all over and the food places were great

Foodies on a Craft Food Tour - Delray

My friend and I looked to find something foodie to do while in Delray. A quick web search turned up Craft Food Tour. The food in Delray is a paradise for foodies like us, so we decided to sign up . Registration and payment were smoothly done online . We met at 11:00 for a 3 hour walking food tour . We started out at El Camino -WOW- and ended up at DaDa- EXCELLENT! We toured 6 places for a great sampling of local fresh foods and drinks. Aside from the two restaurants mentioned , we sampled The Popcorn House , the New Vegan , Beer Trade Company ,and Eat Market. Hard to pick my favorite stop. Eat Market had the best Cuban sandwich sampling !!! Wish I had another one right , now! The owners of the restaurants all came out to meet and greet. That was fun. The tour owners , Matt and Anthony, gave us local history lessons and very much conveyed their passion for fresh gourmet foods . My friend and I made friends with a couple and ended up having drinks after the tour ended . Fun! Put on your comfy walking shoes and steel yourself for the heat of Delray. The heat from the brief walk from restaurant to restaurant could be off-putting for some , but we were back in AC with a cool beverage/cocktail in hand soon enough. Hey, this heat is nothing for this Dallas girl ! The food on this tour was delicious, the drinks were awesome and Matt and Anthony better hire more help because I see many tours in their futures . This is a super fun thing to do in Delray.

Spent the afternoon in Delray Beach with Craft Food Tours; hands-down it was one of the best I've ever joined. Our guide Matt was the perfect host and the selection of restaurants was superb. We visited traditional spots like El Camino and Cabana El Rey as well as enjoyed some Asian streetcar food at Delray Goodies. If you've never tried Jian Bing before it's definitely worth the trip for a full immersion in Asian cuisine and culture. For those who love Garrick's you'll definitely switch loyalty after visiting The Original Popcorn House, the flavor Board was packed with unlimited combinations and options. Final stop was at Corner Porch for their famous Nutella cream ... it was worth the trip to Delray just for this treat. The perfect ending to an amazing afternoon. Bravo Craft Foods, well done

Matt and Anthony, yeah!

Amazing day today. Of course the weather was in our favor. We met at El Camino Restaurant at 11 am. We had 8 people in our tour group. Two young guys led us on an eating, architectural, history tour of Delray Beach. Yummy brisket quesadilla and for the vegans in the group, vegetable quesadilla. Loved the brisket one but the other was pretty darn good. A tasty Margareta with only half rim salted followed. I thought that was clever because it satisfied the salt lovers and the not salt haters. Next stop was Eat Market where we tasted sandwich of turkey, avocado, bacon etc. Fantastic Beer Trade Co had obviously beer and food and games if you want to hang out. Risotto balls go well with beer. I, myself am not a beer drinker. The Original Popcorn House was one of my favorites because I am a fanatic, avid, devoted popcorn FAN! Banyan house served slushy and creme brulee cheesecake. Delicious Pineapple Grove is a very neat place in Delray Beach Tour guides Matt and Anthony were super charming. Recommend, recommend, recommend!

Awesome time with some amazing food in Delray Beach. From brisket quesadillas to Jiang Bing we tried a little bit of everything.

Great experience !!! The tour was a great way to get a quick tour of the city along with its history and popularity, while tasting some of the areas eateries. Our guide Anthony was knowledgeable about the area and kept us on schedule despite a few of Floridas famous downpours. I definitely recommend this tour if you are new to the area, visiting or even a resident. You immediately feel immersed in the culture and history of this amazing town and walk away with at least 6 new fav restaurants! Enjoy and happy tastings

This was expected though since most of these types of boat rides are similar in that respect. One interesting highlight was the trip into Port Canaveral to see some of the cruise ships in port. The tour guide/docent named Mason kept us engaged throughout the trip with his knowledge and an occasional one-liner. All in all a very pleasant afternoon. Highly recommended

We met at the Westin Hotel and started at its eatery, the Lona Cocina Tequileria, where we had salsa (I was not a fan, too smokey and not tomatoey enough) and chips, a chicken taco (one of the best items on the tour), and a tasty margarita. Next, our tour guide Kat took us to the Takato in the Conrad Hotel where we were served delicious, melt-in-your-mouth sushi; angry chicken; and a Korean Zombie alcoholic drink that was so strong I had to trade it in for a mocktail. (Yes, I don't like my drinks too strong.) I was looking forward to the bao but the restaurant did not provide that on the menu for our group. Our tour guide was left apologizing for the missing item, though it wasn't her fault. At the Wild Thyme in the Atlantic Hotel we had coconut shrimp and conch fritters. We were limited to one each of the two items. The fruity alcoholic drink tasted somewhat like a pina colada (but I forgot the name). We topped off our tour with a trip to Archibalds Village Bakery, where we were given either a blueberry scone or a cream scone. I would have much preferred to choose my bakery item (like we did at Hollywood Donut on the Las Olas tour). Nevertheless, we had a fun few hours with a superb tour guide, and we were full enough from our tastings that all we had for dinner was some fresh fruit.

There is no shade on the grounds so much of the time was spent standing in the hot sun. Waiting to get into an airboat was a bit chaotic and tiresome. There were shade canopies along the queue but they were not deployed for some reason. Staff seemed a bit disorganized, groups were confused on where to go and given mixed directions from staff members. The experience on the boat was nice and we saw a variety of wildlife. The captain was knowledgeable and spotted alligators quickly. The gator show was fun but short. The host Paul was funny and engaging, the entire audience was captivated. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Our highlight was getting to hold a baby alligator and knowing that our money was going to one of the only no kill gator rescues!
