When we discovered asbestos during our renovation, I spoke with several companies and received multiple quotes. From my very first conversation with James, I had a level of trust and comfort that I didn't feel with anyone else. He was knowledgeable, honest, experienced, and genuinely cared about helping our family navigate a stressful situation. On top of all that, CCR's pricing was significantly better than many of the other companies I spoke with, all while delivering exceptional workmanship and service. Given the stress of the situation, I naturally had a lot of questions. James welcomed every single one. He was always patient, professional, and generous with his time, making sure I felt informed and comfortable throughout the process. He consistently went above and beyond, even performing additional inspections and providing extra services at no charge simply to give us peace of mind. Most importantly, the quality of CCR's work was exceptional. The team was meticulous, professional, and took tremendous pride in what they do. They successfully passed aggressive TEM clearance testing on the first try after a large-scale drywall removal project, and even our hygienist commented on how spotless the house was when he walked in. That level of workmanship and attention to detail gave our family tremendous confidence that the job was done right. What could have been one of the most stressful parts of our renovation became one of the easiest. It never felt like we were simply hiring a contractor-- it felt like we had a trusted partner helping us navigate a difficult situation and ensuring our home was safe for our family. We are incredibly grateful and would recommend CCR without hesitation.

During the second tank removal they hit a power line and electrical service was cut off to the home. Delmarva come and worked for hours and restored service. That oil tank was found to have a small ground leak. Therefore ACE informed us that they were unable to complete the project at that moment. They needed to do testing on the soil and water and report it to a state agency before proceeding. The large hole (? 4 feet deep) that they had excavated in the yard was left open and not protected nor any barrier placed. After not having heard from them for SEVERAL WEEKS we tried to reach out to them and were told that they had forgotten to take the water sample while they were at the home and they needed to do that. Several weeks again passed and we attempted to reach them several times. We never got a return phone call. The following week we tried yet again and did reach Shannon who was the coordinator for the project. She said she had been on vacation the week prior, ( not explanation about the lack of response she for the weeks prior to that). She was able to tell me that they had gotten the report back and there was no ground water contamination( thank heavens). However, they had NOT YET FILED that report with the state department that needed to clear them to finish the project. She did say that they would not be able to file that information that day ( not sure why it was not a priority at this point as she admitted it had been weeks since they had gotten that report back) but hopefully next week. When I pointed out is it already been several weeks and question why at you had not yet been filed, I was unable to get an answer. I explained to her that there was a large hole remaining in our yard, that had filled with over 1 foot of rain water, wildlife was now living in it, and that I was concerned that there would be an accident from a person or child falling into the hole. She expressed surprise that the hole had not yet been filled and told me that she would get somebody out there to fill it and would call me back later that day. It has NOW BERN A FULL WEEK AGAIN and I have yet to hear anything from her or anyone at Ace. The large, rain water filled , dangerous hole and dirt pile remain beside our driveway. We continue to beg for information. It has been an extremely frustrating and unsatisfying experience. Poor communication. Poor planning. No follow through. Dangerous conditions.

When I arrived 10 minutes early to the 2:00pm appointment Sean was already there. He was very friendly (in person and on the phone) and had already done a perimeter inspection! After introductions he took me around and pointed out what he had already seen and was a patient educator. Joining the inspection with me was my father and partner via a video call. Sean not only responded to my questions but theirs as well. Made sure that they were responded to and was patient with my very curious father who tried to keep rushing him along. Sean could have become flustered but he didn't and managed my father in a way that was respectful and professional. I. WAS. SO. IMPRESSED. I had no idea how through a home inspection was and honestly when I told others about my experience (because I am hollerin from the mountain tops) my friends [one of which just purchased a new home] were shocked as how in depth Sean was. I could literally write for so much longer about how positive this experience was for me. Buying a home is nerve wracking. Meeting up with strangers in a COVID world is anxiety inducing. Trying to navigate an inspection with a partner on the phone is hard and clunky speaking through masks and over water sounds but Sean did it. Real talk I was skeptical with the recommendations that Chris (Redfin realtor) put forward but I didn't know any different so I took the first one on the list. And BOY OH BOY am I glad I did that. **CHRIS Keep putting Sean first** The inspection report was in my email the next morning. During the inspection Sean had recommended a specific product to fix something that came up during the inspection. I felt comfortable emailing him asking him for the name again and he responded almost immediately. ALSO - he recommended to me a termite inspection company (the next Yelp review I am going to write) and he was FANTASTIC as well! He went out of his way to point out water damage found in the ceiling to Sean before he was even there. The communication and teamwork is what EVERY buyer should experience when navigating purchasing a house. It was CLEAR that everyone on our team CARES that we doing get a lemon. Lucky for us the house is ALSO amazing. Overall - Sean is fantastic. If it means anything this is the FIRST yelp review I have ever written because this experience was so great. Thanks Sean!

I…read morecontacted 2 mold remediation companies that said they could only not confirm the presence of "organic growth", not mold. This was because only a certified laboratory could confirm actual mold. They recommended that we assume the worst and treat the home for mold. I contacted Puricleanse and learned that if a home has mold, the mold is everywhere, not just where visible. Gail scheduled a reasonably priced "air quality test" the next day and within 72 hours we knew for certain that we in fact did have one type of mold present in the house. The test was also important because it may have shown no hazardous growth was present. If that were the case I would not have had to pay for treatment and I'd have certified proof there was no mold in the house. Rodney came out within 48 hours and completed the remediation treatment by the end of the day. Before Rodney left he conducted another air quality test. That test came back within a few days with a finding of no mold present. I now have proof in hand that my home is certified mold free and a one year warrant from Puricleanse that it will stay that way. Other contractors would have treated only visible areas of growth and I would not know for certain if the mold was totally removed. Gail and Rodney were professional, knowledgeable, and patient when answering all of my questions. They worked very hard to address all my concerns and treat the problem I had in a quick, efficient manner.
