Highly recommended. The two people who came to my house to write up an estimate were personable and professional. I got the quote within 2-3 days and it was not unreasonable. Having recently moved into a new house, I had missing screens, screens with holes, and window with faulty sashes. I had G&SH deal with the missing screens and broken sashes. To spread out the cost, I will hold off on the screens with holes until later. I know I could have gone to a hardware store to have new screens made for slightly less, but the convenience of them coming to me and the confidence that they were responsible for the precise measurements more than compensated for the minimal price difference. When they came back to do the repairs and installations they were in and out in a short period of time, again professional. just now Rescheduled initial estimate appointment the day of after we had taken off work to be there. Paid in full for job over 3 weeks ago and still do not have standard storm door glass replaced. They said they would call when glass came in and did not call. When I followed up over a week after paying in full, they scheduled appointment and then canceled the day before. Would recommend against using this company. read more

These ppl don't deserve the 1 star I'm having to select - perhaps a red octagonal symbol for 'STOP!' don't even think about it. Whatever you do, skip this crew. If this business is indicative of their family - watch out world and I don't mean that in a good way. For a family owned business, they are so discombobulated it's disturbing. This transaction started out without an issue. They came out, removed the screens to do the job at their shop. I was told I'd have them back in roughly 10 days. The following week they called to do the re-install. Cool - all is fine. Apparently, one of the "family members" didn't put me on the schedule per her phone call to me to schedule the re-install. The day before & day of, I'm waiting for the call to give me my window of arrival. No problem, all families get busy - so, I call - twice. Finally, a family member calls back frantic & apologetic - they can't keep their scheduled re-install. Deep breathes. Ok fine. I of course agreed to another date later in the week. I changed my weekend plans around to accommodate "their family". Everything seems normal - I get my calls giving me a window of arrival etc. The family crew arrives. I begin to prop the door open for them to bring in my screens. The two male cousins, uncle, nephew, dad, grand pop, grandson or whoever begins to look confuse. I break the awkward moment. Ahhhh - they're expecting to do an estimate, I'm expecting a re-install. The younger member sends the elder to the van to "search" for EIGHT screens. Ummm - yeah ok. Then comes the call to the "office" and then I hear "...did you look in the back yard...?" Aiyah yah! So, now I'm scheduled for a THIRD time! What a frigging waste! read more

My son misplaced his key and decided it would be a good idea to climb in the window. Naturally, the window fell inward, and the outer pane of glass broke, as did the material around the window that holds it in place. The temperature outside was below freezing, of course! A friend suggested I call Glass and Screen Hospital. They advertise "same day service," but since I wasn't able to get there until nearly four o'clock and they close at five, I felt sure that wouldn't be possible. Well, I was wrong! They had my window fixed by 4:50. One of my neighbors had said to expect to pay about $400. Guess what they charged me??? $78.00. The staff was INCREDIBLY friendly, too. I'm so angry at myself because I wrote down all of their names, and now I can't find the paper I wrote them on! I know that the man who fixed my window was Wes, but there were also three wonderful women in the front of the shop. I am going to recommend Glass & Screen Hospital to all of my friends! read more

I had a real mess on my hands, over 100 windows that lost their seal and were foggy inside. Most companies wanted to sell me the entire window when all I needed was the glass. The crew from Glass and Screen Hospital worked with me to do the job that I needed done and no more. They worked around the few good windows that I had and came up some creative solutions to save me even more. It was a big job, but in the end it was only about 1/3 to 1/4 of what every other company wanted. The installers, Glenn, Kevin and Randy were super professional and took great pride in their work. Stacy in the front office kept me informed of exactly when the installers would arrive. Our windows look great! I hope I won't need them again soon, but if I do I will not hesitate to call them. read more

I used Glass & Screen Hospital to repair and re-screen an oversized patio screen door from the 1970's. I had been staring at for a year and couldn't figure out what to do with it myself. It was a little pricey (IMO), but Glass & Screen Hospital were great. They were on time for all appointments, great with communication (calling/texting when they were on their way), came and picked up the door and brought it back a couple weeks later, good as new. I was also impressed that they were able to get parts for a door that was so old. I will definitely call them next time I've got window, door or screen issues. read more

Good service. They did my screens quickly and professionally. They are a family business.

They replaced our broken living room window and did a very good job. First they came out and looked at it and gave us an estimate. Then when we'd set up a deposit, they came back out and fixed the window. I think the workers were very friendly and trustworthy and the price was reasonable. My only small complaint was I was given a window of 11am -2pm and no one came during that time. I had to call and check on it and find out they were running behind and would be there by 3:30. I think someone should have called me with this information and apologized for the inconvenience. However, it all worked out well and I was happy with the work. read more

In the past I always had good service with this company. In mid September I had one of their installers (who bragged he was the best) give me an estimate for some work at a rental property a friend of mine owns. He measured a window wrong and missed a lot of materials needed to complete the job. Two months, 3 more technician visits, and $200 more than the original estimate the job is finally done. I complained so much they took $100 of the bill. With only 4 technicians you would think they could get it right the 1st time. Many other places to go, so I am done with them. read more
