Donna at the office took my call on the issue and immediately rectified the problem and had a crew out to my house the very next day. Pablo and Rolando were very efficient and courteous as they poured the cement and nicely finished off my porch step. They left no mess and the job is superb. Thank you all very much!

They started wet cutting the slab in the street, 2 men did it for bout 1.5 hours. Then left it a dusty mess Without any kind of barriers or barricade comes to warn others. It took me an my neighbor calling the eastpointe police several times contacting them Before 3 hours later officers show up. With 2 tiny orange cones to warn motorists that there was a hole present. An now it's been a week almost, it's completely finished an cured. But barriers all over the road. An now we have 4-8 Inches of snow coming tonight. So how is my snow service people supposed plow my driveway? Do good work, it's just seems that they have workers afraid of the.cold weather hurry an do the work. But fail to either put down or pick up there barriers and snow fencing an other crap. All to be baried by.snow now. An as for it being lost to snow with temps not getting above 36 degrees for next 3 weeks We'll have a pile of snow an baried cones an.fenecing an all this other crap out here. Sloppy lazy people. An Luigi Cement loves.. LOVES commenting back trying to make people look dumb.

I hired Detroit Concrete Leveling to raise back patio and side walkway concrete to address drainage…read moreissues. Their work in those areas was acceptable. During the quote, I showed the salesperson, Lawrence, two sinking areas in my front sidewalk. He said they would raise those areas at no additional charge. When the crew arrived, I explained that sprinkler lines ran along both sides of the sidewalk and asked whether there was any risk of damaging them. They assured me there was not. They then proceeded to cut sprinkler lines at both locations. I left a voicemail at their main office asking how this issue would be resolved. Lawrence returned my call and said Detroit Concrete Leveling was not responsible for the damage based on terms noted on the back of the quote. The work provided at "no additional charge" ended up costing me $499 for sprinkler system repairs. I strongly recommend you do NOT hire Detroit Concrete Leveling. They do not take responsibility for damaging customers' property. If ownership disclaims responsibility, customers should not expect the work crews to show adequate care for their property. If you still choose to hire Detroit Concrete Leveling, I recommend budgeting extra money beyond the quoted price. You may need it to repair damage cause by their careless or indifferent work. REPLY TO THE OWNER'S COMMENTS OF 7/17/26 Michael - I left a voicemail at your main office on the morning of July 9 regarding the sprinkler damage. Later that afternoon, I received a return call from Lawrence, the salesperson. He stated that Detroit Concrete Leveling does not accept responsibility for property damage and characterized my situation as "unfortunate." He offered either to attempt the repairs himself or that I hire a sprinkler company do so. When I asked whether he had any sprinkler repair experience, he confirmed that he did not. Given the extent of the damage caused by your company and the need for qualified sprinkler repair professionals, I declined Lawrence's offer. Your statements that you requested the opportunity to come to my property to inspect the situation personally and that the "request was declined" are false. I declined only Lawrence's offer to attempt the sprinkler repairs. You did not contact me directly, and neither Lawrence nor any other company employee conveyed any request from you to inspect the damage. I could not have declined an offer that was never communicated to me, and your characterization of these events does not accurately reflect what occurred.

They did a poor job at plowing the snow which is what resulted in all of this ice as well as the lack of salt that they put down. Very unhappy with the work that was done.

They completed the project in record time, even fitting me in ahead of schedule, which was a huge relief considering spring rains were on their way. The crew was fantastic--professional, friendly, and respectful of my property. They communicated with me every step of the way, answering all my questions quickly and thoroughly, sending me photos of the work to assuage any concerns. It was clear that they take great pride in their work, and they left my yard in perfect condition, cleaning up meticulously after the job was done. One wrench in the project was that I had an invisible fence line that ran through multiple areas of excavation, and I knew there was no chance that line wasn't going to be cut. What really blew me away, was that Cristian went out and repaired the damage and the line works perfectly again; talk about above and beyond! A week later, the drainage system works perfectly, and my yard is shockingly dry considering the recent heavy rain. I highly recommend Hills Excavation for any complicated and muddy yard-related needs--they exceeded my expectations in every way and I'm glad I no longer feel like Shrek telling people to, "get out of my swamp!"
