Our front porch on our 1939 home had a fascia of brick that was loose and falling off. The flagstone on top had begun to crack apart without enough support under it. After I removed it, I found that most of the block support behind that was also loose or missing. I put in a call to several contractors for quotes. Brickworks was the first to respond and came up with an innovative repair plan. All others immediately said the whole porch would need replaced at almost 2x Brickworks quote. Decided to take a chance and was quite pleased. They repaired the structure, installed new fascia brick and were able to salvage some flagstone pieces to repair the surface of the porch. Everything was coated with waterproofing. However, when they were done they did an amazing cleanup and even repaired and seeded a few sq ft of damaged grass and reinstalled mulch around the porch. You would never have known that they were there except for the fact that the porch looked amazing. This work was done last year. It weathered great during the winter. I've always meant to post a review but never got around to it. I'd get a guilty feeling every time I'd see their trailer. Today I couldn't take it any more and just had to post. A little over six years ago, I had Brickworks rebuild the upper portion of my chimney, the rebuild is now falling apart and I'm a year outside of the warranty. Ive been trying to get a call back for two months and no matter how many times I call it's the same thing, I'll have someone get back to you, it never happens and frustration is now at a high. 75% of my chimney is 70 years old and looks great but the work they did is beginning to show major signs of wear and tear. Now I understand why they only offer a five-year warranty!! Customer service is horrible and craftsmanship has a lot to be desired. Hired this company in 2024 to rebuild the cap on my chimney and to install a cover over the fireplace flu to keep out elements so I could use my electric fire insert. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Had MANY problems scheduling to complete the work and 3 false-starts.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] FINALLY the work was completed in the spring of 2025. Well, it's been a little less than one year and today's rains (April 4, 2026) revealed that either the flu cap or the flu cover has failed since it is raining into my firebox, down through the clean-out and into my basement. I paid thousands of dollars to this company. If I have to have another company fix their work then I will be suing for a refund, and, since it is over $2500, it WON'T be in small claims court!!! read more

If I could give this company zero stars, I would. Beware of hiring them to do your job! I had my driveway replaced by them and when they removed my new vinyl gate and put it back on, they ruined it. My gate now has divots on the top and large pieces of it scraped off and missing. It cannot be repaired and they will not replace my property that they damaged. Hired the company in August 2024 to replace my entire driveway and side walk, Paid $22,000, In April 2026 I notice that panels were chipping (approximately six panels). Manager came out and immediately said there was a one year warranty on their work, but they would do a courtesy repair and repair two panels. When the workers came out they informed me that if they did the repair, the repaired pieces would be darker than the other12 panels. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I asked the company why wouldn't they repair the other four panels and they said they were doing me a courtesy and would only repair two panels.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Is this the type of business you would want to work with. You spend $22,000 on home improvement and 1 1/2 years later, that improvement depreciates your property value. Than they won't fix obvious flaws in the work they did. Called and setup appointment. The appointment was a three hour window(10a-1p). Day of before appointment, the office called to confirm. The person that came to do the estimate texted on his ETA and it was in last hour. He came in company car and was polite.Talk for a bit, measured, took photos and dug a portion of dirt on the side to see cracking of the base. He did the quote in the car and had to call masonry person about the cost of poured in steps. Sat down together and spoke about the quote. Took about 20 minutes or so altogether. I was emailed quote later in the day. Precast,$3,000-$4,000 vs poured porch steps, $4,000-$5,000. Wanted me setup an appointment to do the job since business is picking up. Our porch was done about 4 years ago. About a year later the top started to pit and we have been trying to keep it sealed. The bricks are starting to come away from the house, I am not sure the bricks are their fault but definitely not using Mini- mix for the concrete makes it cheaper but not great quality having them mix it themselves. I could have done a better job on Tuckpointing. On the rest of my house, the motor is smooth and indented. On the repaired area, it looks like the motor was excessive and it oozed out all over the bricks. While that may be artistic to some, it does not match the rest of my house. The bricks used were not even the same size bricks as the ones on my house. In the end their solution was to acid wash the mortar. The only thing that did was to kill the grass around the area that they worked on. Brickworks came highly recommended, but I had a terrible negative experience with inferior quality of workmanship. read more

I had to share the horrible experince i just had with Brickworks Property Restoration, LLC. I called this company for a quote to have my chimney repaired/rebuilt. I advised the lady that called that i had my roof replaced within the last 2 years and recently had my roofing company come out whom advised that i need a chimney repair. I called a chimney company out last week whom inspected the chimney and concured that i need a chimeny repair. I contacted Brickworks Property Restoration for a quote. The young lady was very rude and wouldnt schedule an appointment unless i had a 3rd party roofing company come out first. Absolutely rediculous not to mention it screamed red lining little does she know my home is on the higher end and to treat me like that site unseen is disgusting. It has been almost a month that the new improved front porch has been in use. The previous porch had three sides of split facing bricks falling along with mortar pieces from all three sides. The porch appeared to be ready to cave in entirely. The one precast step up had a gaping hole with only rebar to step on, having been overtreated with rocksalt, due to ice and snow falling from the overhead awning. Previous owners had pasted some bricks back in, but their appearance was patchy with smeared mortar on the surrounding bricks. Kyle Pazzi was the sales rep who looked at it. The finished job price was just over $6,400.00. It included new bricks and mortar on the three sides and three formed concrete front steps. The crew that worked on it over two days included Mike, Matt, Bryan, and Joe. They have earned my grateful appreciation for a job well done! read more

Our front porch brick facings were cracking off. Our basement had a crack that would leak onto the floor when it rained. Brickworks came out next day for an estimate. We hired them and they came out a few days later with an exceptional crew. They were neat, knowledgeable and efficient. Our entire front bricks on the front porch needed replaced. They had the exact brick that matched and did a very neat job. In our basement they used some high end stuff that filled in the entire crack from top of the wall to the bottom. Then they used the same stuff to cover the entire crack. Worked like a charm and was well worth the money. They might be priced a little higher than their competition but in this case you get what you pay for in the long run. Once the front porch was finished we had another company come out to fill in the void under our front porch. When that was finished I called Brickworks back out to seal the porch and bricks. I received a quote for tuck-pointing my fire box, was told it was a very straight forward job and would take 1 man a FEW hours, all my bricks were in good shape so only materials were the mortar. Estimate was just under $1000. I think $300 + an hour for 1 man seems pricey but that's just my opinion read more

We had contracted them to resolve 2 areas of concern (1) Garage wrap around and lower bricks near foundation approaching porch. (2) Rear elevation wall was starting to disintegrate and crumble near foundation. Both areas were repaired to our satisfaction and blend nicely with the existing 49 year old brickwork. Hired Brickworks summer of 2014 to repair some bricks that had fallen from the top of my chimney. Got a fair estimate that stated that the top of my chimney required a tear down and rebuild. Inquired if my chimney will be rebuilt to the way its original form and I was assured it would be. During the rebuild, I inquired with a worker if my chimney would be the same as it was before they tore it down and was told, yes. Guess what? Brickworks decided to redesign my chimney and shorten it about 6 brick layers. When the employees showed up they stated that they didn't have enough scaffolding and that they usually didn't work on houses as tall as mine - a 3 story tudor. And they magically finished by 6pm. When I called and asked the owner why my chimney wasn't the same as it was before they tore it down, I was given the excuse that it was a poor design. Which is an outright lie. There's over 1200 houses in my neighborhood that have a similar or even more ornate design to their chimneys. I wouldn't hire Brickworks to snap Lego's together. read more

I called to request a quote and the owner, Jeremiah, returned my call and made an appointment within a few days. He arrived on time for the estimate and we walked around the house together and he explained the repairs i would need. I received the bid the next day and it beat my other estimate by almost half. When I called to schedule, I was told they'd call within a week or so to schedule my job due to the rain we had in early November. I received a call within 3 days that they would be out the next week. A 3 man crew arrived at 8 am and the job was completed by 6 pm.
