A really great vacation meal!!! We were at Disney Springs…read moreshopping when hunger struck us-(probably at the same time as hundreds of other diners!!!) most restaurants were on a 45"+ wait time. We checked out Paddlefish to find it was a 20-30" wait so off we went to the bar to rest our weary feet and enjoy a Margarita on the rocks w/ Black Salt and a Tom Collin's with extra Lemons. My dining companion and I enjoyed them! We waited about 35" and were seared in an upstairs dining room. We were served delicious, warm and fluffy dinner rolls with butter which we thoroughly enjoyed! Then ordered and waited a short time for a beautiful Filet Mignon and my Crispy Shrimp Platter . We both enjoyed our entrees -which were done to perfection. We both took home leftovers for a bedtime snack! Service by Hannah our waitstaff was excellent. We both wished we had saved room for dessert but no way!! A very nice environment for a special meal celebrating our arrival at Disney Epcot for the Flower & Garden Show!!!! ( it was also fabulous-more to come ....)

I was on a Disney vacation and had bought a dining plan previously so I decided to splurge and come to the paddlefish for dinner which costs two dine in credits. You get an entree , alcoholic drink and dessert (I would estimate around $90 for one person before tip). All of the food was mid, and the drinks were lacking excitement. The actual vibe of the place is pretty sterile and since it was nighttime we didn't really have a view. Our server was great though!

The parking wraps arounds and it was very busy and surprisingly finding parking wasn't that bad. When we got into the lobby the wait time was 1hr 15 mins almost 2 hours . They set you up with a text message when the table is ready. We decided to go next door to the souvenir gift shop and wasted some time there and then decided to get back to the car . It was getting closer to time and since at 9pm they stop seating. We were able to walk in and our table was ready. The menu has a lot of different options. We asked the waiter how does it work and they do describe it to you if any questions. We got the cheese sticks to order I would say I wish it was cheesier but it was still good. The house salad with ranch was decent. For my seafood boil I got shrimp headless, snow crab legs, potatoes, sausage , corn. IT WAS THE 10/10!!! I'm not a spicy or a too much seasoning person so I got the garlic butter only. It was very good and had so much butter. For the second round I got calamari , green mussels , corn ,egg, potato. The calamari was so good . And I've never had green mussels and they were delicious! And to finish it off I had a cheesecake for dessert!! Everything was great. It's all you can eat and we definitely enjoyed it to the max! can't wait to come back!! They give you tools just in case if you need it btw!

My family enjoyed theirs as well. Crab bites and sweet potato fries were solid. My only real problem was the service. They have 3-4 different people attending to you. So you don't know who to ask. They did forget things here and there; screwed up orders, but overall the food was the star. Would go back if I am feeling a seafood explosion.

Winner!! Great service, nice setting and a fabulous sword fish!!…read more Unsure of where to go for dinner out, we "traded" the Hyatt by the convention center for the resort Hyatt. While the drive over at 630 pm was rough/long it was worth the trip. Ladies split the salad (excellent), had the salmon (huge - loved it) and the chicken (again huge and loved it) while I had the bone-in swordfish. It was so different and delicious that I ate it all! There were definitely some highlights to the evening. The cocktails were excellent, and the staff was wonderful with our daughters. The attention they received was appreciated, and the kids' meals were very well done. The grouper was outstanding and easily the best dish we ordered. Unfortunately, the rest of the food was fairly mediocre, especially considering the restaurant's reputation and price point. What left us disappointed, however, was the handling of my wife's birthday. Throughout the evening, we observed at least three other tables receiving complimentary birthday desserts and birthday acknowledgments from their servers. Despite having clearly noted the occasion on our reservation, my wife received no acknowledgment at all. I wasn't going to interrupt the meal or embarrass her by reminding the staff that it was her birthday, as that information had already been provided ahead of time. While the service to our children and the cocktails were excellent, it was disappointing to see other guests celebrating birthdays receive special recognition while my wife's celebration appeared to be completely overlooked. That oversight put a damper on what should have been a memorable birthday dinner.

Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there!…read more My family and I had the pleasure of celebrating Father's Day brunch at Summer House on the Lake, and it was the perfect way to spend the holiday. While we're already familiar with their incredible cookie and bakery counter, this was our first time experiencing brunch, and it did not disappoint. The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful, with a bright and welcoming atmosphere that feels both relaxing and upscale. Our server, Andrew, provided excellent service throughout the meal and helped make the experience even more enjoyable. I started with a Mexican Mocha, which was fantastic and exactly what I needed to kick off the morning. One thing I really appreciated was that our son's food arrived first, allowing him to dig into his blueberry pancakes topped with fresh blueberries and strawberries right away. My wife loved her strawberry waffles, and I enjoyed the brunch special featuring banana pancakes. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. As a dad, being able to celebrate Father's Day with my wife and son is something I never take for granted, and Summer House on the Lake provided the perfect setting for making those memories together. We also discovered the rewards program for the Lettuce Entertain You Restaurants family of restaurants, which was an added bonus. Between the delicious brunch, amazing cookies, and outstanding service, we'll definitely be back. Next time, we'll have to experience the dinner menu. An extra perk was visiting Disney Springs in the morning before the crowds arrived. It made for a much more relaxed experience. Here's a toast to all the dads out there--and to Summer House on the Lake for helping make Father's Day a memorable one. This Yelp Elite dad definitely approves!

It's casual, a little messy in the best way, and perfect if you're going in ready to eat. I ordered the large seafood platter with an extra 1/2 lb of sausage, and went with the Boom medium seasoning. First off -- the portions are no joke. The tray came out stacked with seafood, corn, potatoes, and sausage, all coated evenly in sauce. Definitely the kind of meal where you roll up your sleeves and commit. The Boom medium seasoning was the right call. It had a good kick without overpowering the food, which I really appreciated. The spice was there, but you could still taste the seafood and everything stayed flavorful instead of just being hot for no reason. The sausage and potatoes especially soaked up the seasoning perfectly. Service was great the whole time. Chris, our server, was super friendly and checked in just enough without hovering. Jeff, the host, was welcoming from the start and kept things moving smoothly even though the place was busy. Overall, Crafty Crab hit all the marks for me -- big portions, bold flavors, great service, and a fun atmosphere. The shrimp were juicy, and the crab legs were full of flavor and easy to crack. This is a chain restaurant usually found in the south, but I believe they have a few up North. The seasoning on the boil was the highlight--rich, buttery, and packed with just the right amount of Cajun spice. Everything was well-coated and super satisfying. You can customize your seasoning with mild, medium or super spicy. I don't like spicy food so I ordered the mild combo which is a mixture of the cajun and buttery garlic seasoning! So delicious! The atmosphere was casual and fun, and the service was friendly and attentive. Star our server was amazing! If you're craving a seafood boil with bold flavor, this is definitely a great spot to check out! That's a perfect explanation of this restaurant. Service was good, dinner prep seemed a little slow, 25 mins for dish and chicken but maybe it needed the time. Best thing we ate was the mussels and claim app. My grouper with crap was good, no salt on the potatoes. My veg was lightly cooked and could have used more heat. $60 for my entree. The server sold me on this fish dish like it was a special (everyday menu item) Lady had chicken they overcooked. Her veg was cooked properly. So disappointed we cancelled reservations and ordered a bit of take out from them. Burrata with cherry tomatoes doesn't equal heirloom in my opinion. We had two of their desserts and frozen with a sauce sounds right. The blueberry cheesecake was inedible sadly. We wanted to like everything because the staff was nice and it's a nice place. But for the cost not one thing wow-d us. Usually there is one dish or drink that makes your eyes roll back. There was more discussion over why this tastes bad or that tastes dry, overcooked.
