They have a clause in their contract that if a major appliance breaks it's their option to repair. Our refrigerator died and they said tough luck and we had to buy one. Smoke detector battery replace - $75/Ea Air filter replace - $75/Ea Light bulb replace - $10/Ea Failure to have a receipt for professional carpet cleaning $250 minimum Tangled blind strings - $30/ Ea etc..... We had a clause in our contract to go to month to month and the leasing agent called us up and told us that clause wouldn't be honored that we would be evicted if we tried to go month to month.
