I had some sudden acute pain in one of my teeth and was able to make a next-day appointment for an exam. Fantastic! I arrived ten minutes early, filled out my paperwork, and sat there for 30 more minutes before being told that there were technical issues and they could not take any x-rays. They rescheduled me, no problem. For two weeks out. Big problem. Am I supposed to just sort of live with this throbbing pain radiating from my jaw down into my neck and ear? For two weeks?! Completely wasted my time AND kept me from seeking out other help, so here I am 24 hours later still in pain and at square one. The worst most painful unnecessary experience of my life! They caused do much damage i had to go to urgent care after my appointment. They did not care that i wasn't anle to work for over a week. I am writing this with a tooth that is still soar and yet I am not disappointed in the slightest! Most important I have a good feeling that Joseph Craig, DDS will be my dentist for a long time. This was my first visit today on an emergency basis. And like most personal emergencies turn out, the professionals disagree! That being the case, the office went through great lengths to accommodate me on about 2 hours notice! It was impressive and the main reason I selected this office (thanks to Taylor E.'s review). I was very pleased. They squeezed me in at 3:30 to see my tooth pain that had progressively worsened through the day and orajel did nothing to help. I had a numb mouth and a throbbing tooth. The office has a clean updated appearance outside. Inside, it is clean and has a spacious lobby. There is updated television and plenty of reading material. I sat in pain but still appreciated the comfort. One entire wall is a big window to a small private yard with BUNNIES! I did not notice in the lobby whether the bunnies came around but from my operating chair I could see them. They also had personal televisions to watch in the rooms if the bunnies are napping. The televisions are on mechanical arms and swing right in front of your face. Instant quick digital X-rays right in the room. Very convenient. And despite the 8+ years since I have been to a dentist, my teeth showed minimal signs of the lack of professional cleanings. I brush daily, but a night brush or floss are more rare than I like to admit. The hygienist was very nice and clearly went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. She educated me and gave tips without being pushy or lecturing. It was a relief, especially for me. Dr. Craig is very friendly. I sense he has strong solid character. The problem is that the X-rays came back showing no decay (in the problem area, who knows what will show when I get a full cleaning and inspection). Now it is still possible I need a root canal, but today is only the first day of pain. So rather than perform an unnecessary procedure and after careful consultation with Dr. Craig I opted to hold off (for at least 1 full night) and see what happened. Dr. Craig left the final decision to me and I felt well informed. I was very impressed with his professionalism. Hopefully I won't have to update this after getting a root canal tomorrow, but if so, I trust that it will go smoothly. For now I sit in pain share my experience in hopes it will aid other Yelpers. Dr. Craig did the right thing by not taking advantage of my sense of urgency. Sometimes you learn a lot more from things that people don't do! I wish Dr. Craig had a cousin that was a car mechanic! Dr Craig's office is exactly what I'm looking for in a dentist: kinda old-school, perfectly comfortable and totally trustworthy. Remember that dentist office from your childhood???? That's exactly the feel Dr. Craig's office. I'm really not looking to be wowed at the dentist, and instead just wanna deal with friendly, helpful, and honest people. Dr Craig is a no-nonsense kinda guy and primarily sticks the task at hand. The team of dental assistants are all super friendly and fully explain what's going on and offer their recommendations. The front desk staff do a great job handling my 2 insurance coverages and explaining the bills/charges. read more

This was one of the most pleasant dentist visits I've ever had. I have had some really *terrible* dental experiences in my life, so I always dread going to the dentist. I put off finding a dentist for a long time when I moved here, and I just blindly picked this one when I finally decided it was time to make an appointment. So happy with my choice! The dental assistant I spent most of my appointment with was the nicest one I've ever had. She was young but super friendly and chatty in a good way -- making actual conversation rather than asking banal questions when you can answer bc their hands are in their mouth. The whole experience was super comfortable and pretty much painless -- the opposite of just about every other dentist visit I've ever had! I didn't spend much time with the dentist himself but he was friendly in a grandfatherly kind of way. I have never had to have 18 X-rays taken so that was probably the most uncomfortable part of the visit. (Apparently this is required every 5 years now? It has been more than 10 years since I turned 18 and I have never had this done or even heard of it, but it has been a couple years since my last visit and I have never been in Florida before.) I also appreciated that they are up front with you about things -- they give you all the information and a recommendation, but give you the final say. Perhaps I'm skewed because of how horrible my luck has been with dentists in the past, but this place left me immensely impressed! read more

Great service! Local! Bunnies! Came in for a wisdom teeth extraction got it out within the hour. Highly recommended.

If you want a dentists office that hasn't been updated since the 80's this is the practice for you. Most depressing experience. Equipment is old, dirty and nobody seems to want to work there. Waiting room smelled of the pickle the receptionist was eating and felt like a motor vehicle office. Totally unprofessional! My view from the chair had no bunnies... just what appeared to be rat poison pellets and weeds. read more

I was here a few months ago for tooth pain. I'm going back next month for a cleaning.I like the fact that I could get in the same day when I called them and said I had pain. They were very compassionate and understanding about that.I also like that the x-rays were digital and very clear.my hygienist took the time to show me things on the x-ray. I really appreciated that part.overall the staff was really friendly and helpful. This was nice and refreshing because I'd come here just having a bad experience from a chain dental place.I didn't feel he took advantage of me.i'm excited to go back. The reason why knocked off one star is because parts of the office seemed a little cluttered and dated.The staff is knowledgeable in the equipment was clean. read more

I've been a patient of Dr. Craig's for two years and I cannot recommend his office highly enough. Dr. Craig is attentive and thoughtful and does fantastic work. His staff - to a person - is friendly, comforting, and informed. I recently completed an Invisalign regimen with Dr. Craig's office and I couldn't be happier! Dr. Craig thoroughly explained the process and both he and his staff were very available to answer questions throughout the 10-months I was wearing them. Dr. Craig went so far as to call me himself in between visits to make sure that everything was going well and to see if I had any questions. The Invisalign regimen, itself, was pretty effortless. After an initial 3 days of occasional "itchiness" in my gums, it was smooth sailing the whole way. Simply put, it was a very easy and comfortable way to straighten my teeth and the moderate additional cost over standard braces was completely worth it. Dr. Craig was highly recommended to me by trusted friends and I now very happily pass on that recommendation. read more

I was referred by a co worker to this office and it was everything he experienced as well. The staff was very friendly, my dental assistant was very nice and knowledgeable! I felt at ease here and have never felt that way at my other dentist!! Also had a little tranquil view with bunnies to look at...didn't get to see much of them due to rainy weather though. Dr. Craig is fantastic! It's true that his office is a little outdated, but I don't mind because I am extremely satisfied with the care that I have gotten there. My old dentist had told me that I would need to get all this surgery on my mouth (which is a big deal for me, because I have TMJ disorder), but Dr. Craig didn't think it was necessary, saving me lots of time, pain, and money. The hygienists are extremely friendly. Front desk staff are nice, too. Overall, I'd highly recommend his office. read more

This practice is not exactly state of the art. The people seem nice enough. Office decor is dated and sad. Bunnies are nice to watch, but I prefer a practice that is up to date over bunnies. Dentist is a lovely man, but didn't really seem very thorough during my exam. The whole experience was just a little too home town dentist for my taste. This practice seems to be heading toward retirement, and not on the cusp of current dentistry. But I'm sure some people like gentle friendly dentists and Dr. Craig is definitely that. read more

Bad first impression. Called to make an appt with Dr. Craig for my new dentist. I wrote down 7:45 as that is what the receptionist said. She also said to come early to fill out the paperwork. I arrived at 7:30 to find the office locked and dark. I pulled Dr. Craig's website up and the hours said 8-5 so I thought I wrote the time down wrong and it was actually 8:45. I go back home and wait and go back up to the office at 8:15 - When I tell them I am here for my appt they tell me it was at 7:45. I said well I was here at 7:30 but no one was here. One of the ladies tells me she was there at 7:45 exactly I tell them then why did you tell me to come early to fill out the paperwork. YOU did not say my appt. was at 8 you said 7:45 and come EARLY. No problem you just lost 2 patients. Poor communication. I will go elsewhere. read more
