I absolutely loved the care that Dr Sater gave me as a patient. Mind you this was my first dental appointment in years. I paid my bill and that was it. Or so I thought. Fast forward 2 months later and some clown named John called me telling me I had an outstanding balance of $23.88. I was at work and did not have the time to chat nor verify the information he was telling me was accurate so I told him I would have to call him back when I got off from work. Let me tell you he did NOT like that reply. He immediately got hyper aggressive and started threatening me with sending my measly $24 balance to collections even going so far as telling me that this would destroy my credit. Lol. John, please. It's quite unfortunate that Dr Sater employs such hostile and unprofessional employees in his office as I will never come back. read more

Let me start by stating this is the first yelp review I have ever written. I took both my boys to Dr. Sater, who came highly recommend by a coworker. The office experience and treatment during the visit met all my expectations. My children recieved the care they needed at the time and we even came up with a treatment plan for future visits. However all that changed today when I received a phone call from John who started the conversation out very politely by asking if I had a moment to speak with him concerning my account, I told him I had about five minutes left on my break. He proceeded to inform me that I had an outstanding balance of $85, which I was unaware of because I paid what I was told my portion of the service were for the visit, which left me with a $0 balance. John explained that was an estimate given based on the insurance. Understood. John claimed they had been sending me invoices for "months." I explained I had not received the invoices, can we verify the address on file? This is when the conversation took a turn for the worse. Once I verified the address they have on file is correct, John's tone changed and he begin demanding that I give him a date I can pay, remember I'm at work. I told John I could not give him a date and that my break was over so I was ending the call. Well John decided to call me back, which upset me. I explained to John how upsetting him immediately calling me back made me after I had already told him I my break was over. I also informed John it would be unfortunate for me to have to find a new dentist because of how he was behaving, he did not seem to care, he had to finish telling me what he wanted to right then and there. He told me this was his "Final" call (which was the first call from him or anyone in his office) and my $85 balance would be sent to collections. I told him to do whatever he felt necessary. I called back to speak with the Office Manager, it was at this point John informed me he, is the office manager (so unfortunate). I explained to him I had just spoken with someone from his office a few weeks ago to receive an updated copy of the treatment plan and she never mentioned I had an outstanding balance. His response was he does not know why I was not during that call. I told him I did not appreciate how he spoke with me, he said the same and told me he "matches energy" I told him I would no longer be using that office(along with a few other explicit choice of words) and for him to not contact me again. Well John could not let it end with that he made sure to send me a lengthy "follow up" text about how me ending the phone calls with him would not be tolerated moving forward. He does not have to worry about moving forward because I refuse to spend my hard earned money with this practice due to the negative interaction I had with him. John allowed his ego to ruin future business for Dr. Sater. All John had to do was allow me to get back with his office, which I had to do anyway to schedule the upcoming services, but John just could not let me have the last say. Not to mentioned I just referred a friend to this office yesterday, needless to say I called her back and told her to find another dentist. read more

Dr. Sater has been my dentist for about 30 years and the early years were good. However, these past five years or so have not been so good. I have had trouble with his office staff not understanding my needs. especially where insurance is concerned. I finally went to another dentist because I couldn't take it anymore and learned that I have 4 cavities under crowns that he put in. I am so disappointed. I have never missed a cleaning or checkup. For awhile I was going every 3 months for cleanings to stay on top of any issues that might come up. How did they miss 4 cavities ?! Now, over $7000 later I am wondering whether I have any recourse. read more

I just wanted to say how much I appreciate Dr. Craig Sater and his staff. Wonderful folks.

I called Dr. Sater's office to ask if they took my insurance. At first, the receptionist was very helpful at trying to get my insurance coverage info, during this phone call I found out that they take Cigna. Unfortunately, they did not return my phone call. I waited two weeks and still no return call. I eventually had to call back and they informed me that had lost information and paperwork, had to give them all my information again. They became increasingly rude and we played phone tag a bit until eventually they informed me that they were not in network for Metlife. Not a fan. read more

My whole family has seen Dr. Sater numerous times. We have received great care. I have been very pleased with the front desk helping correlate my insurance benefits. I had sedation for two root canal's and three crowns and I must say that was my best dental pointman I have ever had. My children don't really like to go to the dentist but they said that Dr. Sater and his hygienist there are were so nice to them that they actually have changed the way I think about going to the dentist.
