I get SO MANY compliments on my glasses. Classy, fancy, playful, understated, whatever your style, they have it and they get new styles coming in all the time. The staff are super helpful. They are patient, letting you try on as many glasses as you like. They will listen to you and your preferences/style and offer suggestions. They encourage you towards things that look good on you while being diplomatic (never putting down your style). This last time I went in to buy frames I hadn't even been to the eye doctor yet, so they held the frames until I could get my eye exam done. I'm so appreciative. They really work with you. And, I've been in a couple of times to get my latest frames adjusted. Each time they were so welcoming and helpful. They are definitely more expensive than getting glasses from my eye doctor (though you can always buy frames and have the eye doctor put in the lenses). Their lenses are really nice though. I can't quite articulate the difference between their lab and my eye doctor's lab making the lenses, but I do like these a bit more. I totally trust Dr Larsen and his staff have been very supportive through my changes in medical coverage and needs for good eyesight while driving and working ! They have always found glass frames I liked and am loving the titanium ones now, with progressive lenses that are polarized and have glare protection as my blue eyes are glare sensitive. I have found their prices to be competitive and they offer other useful products like computer reading glasses with a blue light filter on them that decreases eye strain! I recently had a need for an emergency visit to Dr Larsen and they answered my request for appointment very quickly and for me in and seen that was not a regular scheduled appointment for me. I also appreciate Dr Larsen's medical explanations so I can understand and best care for my eyes! I just can't see going anywhere else!

I'm happy to say the staff member that I initially talked to on the phone was incredibly helpful and polite. During my visit today both staff members I interacted with were polite and helpful as well. My exam with Dr. Glasgow went great - she is obviously very good at what she does and showed an interested and caring attitude towards me as a patient. Based on my experience so far I'm happy to highly recommend Napa Valley Optometric Group. Now 4 months later I finally had a pair of glasses made with the prescription Dr. Glasgow wrote at my exam. Of the many upsides the office is located in downtown Napa and has a decent amount of parking. Plus its super close to my house so if I need my eyes dilated I can easily walk home. My other eye was less problematic but my glasses had to be in the 400-500 range with prescription. On multiple visits, I've observed the same staff member struggling with routine transactions--correcting mistakes, reprocessing orders, or trying to avoid errors in real time. Most recently, there was an issue with a lens order: the wrong item was submitted through insurance, and there was no proactive communication to address it. What followed was a series of conflicting updates--first being told the lenses were equivalent, then that they were being returned, and later that the frames were ready. But wait, didn't we give you back the frames? So do this day I paid for Glasses over six months ago and I still have not received them. The process feels unnecessarily convoluted and avoidable especially when I can dial it down to one team member. To be fair, mistakes happen in any business. The concern here is consistency and the absence of a clear system to catch and correct errors before they reach the customer. With better internal checks, training, or even thoughtful staff rotation within the department, I suspect both efficiency and overall patient satisfaction would improve significantly. This is a well-regarded practice with strong potential, and I offer this feedback in that spirit. She was very nice and friendly. My husband was interested in some ray bans and I came across two pairs for myself. I was not too thrilled with the colors, and asked Morgan for options. She was kind enough to pull up the site and showed me other options for frames and lenses. She took the time to answer my hubby's questions too. We ended up purchasing three items. One to be shipped to our home (she placed an order for us) and we already rec'd the shipping confirmation!! They had a great sale- purchase one at regular prices and additional pairs are 50% off!
