I completed two interviews for a position: an initial 10-minute phone screening followed by a 30-minute Zoom interview. Both conversations seemed positive, and I was told I would hear back regarding next steps. I've reached out twice to follow up, and it's been 3 weeks without any reciprocated communication. Neither message received a response. Extremely unprofessional, it would have taken my interviewer, Kayla Gustavson, less than 5 minutes to state that they moved forward with other candidates. Do not recommend working here if the company can't offer basic respect during the interview stage.

I arrived at Dr. Leong's office late afternoon. When he examined my eye he said it could not wait until the next day. He stayed late into the evening, doing a complicated cryo/bubble repair. I ended up with no vision impairment at all, which seems like a miracle. My grandfather had a detached retina, and his vision was severely impaired afterward. Dr. Leong's manner was good, thoughtfully answering all my questions. His follow-up care was attentive.

I have been wearing glasses since the third grade and I am extremely near-sighted. One of my biggest fears is losing my sight. Dr. Lim made me feel extremely confident about getting the surgery. She explained the surgery in detail and she offered excellent advice about the right type of cataract lenses for me. The surgery itself was extremely quick and painless. I felt like I was at a Laserium show at a planetarium and not in an operating room. There are a number of follow-up appointments scheduled for the day and week after surgery. Both Dr. Chan and Dr. Zhang were caring, knowledgeable, and friendly at these follow-up appointments. The Walnut Creek office staff is also wonderful, friendly, and efficient. Being the nervous Nelly that I am, I did call them more than a few times with my worries. I am now seeing 20/15 out of my distance eye. I can read 4 point type out of my reading eye.
