Hello Craig, My wife and I have been ordering the cookies for sometime this year,Often times ordering two boxes at a time on Uber eats!!!! I was unhappy to hear and rather disgusted by the behaviour that happened in the last couple weeks. First the Uber service was down and everybody suffered not just you, not just restaurants but also drivers and delivery people for Uber also lost money. Technology sometimes does this.But for you to have the nerve to say and try to instigate trouble and miss lead customers of both Uber and your store and say that the tips go to your staff when in fact they actually don't!!! There are hard-working Uber drivers who are trying to keep this city running and people fed in a crisis... In fact I'd like to clarify to all the people out there who are unsure when you tip the driver or delivery person with Uber, it goes directly to the driver / delivery person. Some restaurants menus have an option to tip restaurants, and those go directly to the restaurant. And funny enough after your rant last week obviously disappointingly unsuccessful to yourself you're back on Uber again in full swing..... You spent a whole week Bashing Uber, and telling the whole world that door dash has offered you 0% commissions, now you seem to be back on Uber again??? To me it just seems like you've been tricking your customers into using door Dash so you can optimize your earnings with the 0% commission on DoorDash. You don't have to be dishonest about this if you want to earn more money, you could just let your customers know the regular truthful way, instead of doing a whole run around way that makes us all feel like you are being sneaky. Which you are! And by the way I know that you don't care about your public image, but it looks pretty crappy right now. Especially after skimming through all the reviews from the last year and a half, or however long your business has been open I don't know don't quote me! but your responses to people are terribly sarcastic, laced with bitterness, resentment and anger. You should really be a little bit more professional when people make constructive criticism's on your business. We are not here to destroy or hurt your business, we want to have a good cookie too!! Even if they are just old school plain and simple cookies like yours are, but there are going to be things that people adjust and tweak along the way on their business path. And yes I have owned a business before I understand the hardships of it all, and sometimes the things that people say are not gonna feel good but there is always room for improvement hopefully. The reason I write so strongly on most of my reviews for food is because I think that service and a good attitude are the most important things, even if your food is complete garbage or not consistent, I would come back because the good service and how friendly the service staff are. 4.5/5 overall! Food (5/5): texture is perfect, crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside! Microwave it for around 10-15 seconds when you get home and it's perfectly warm and moist too. The cookies aren't too sweet despite being filled with items like chocolate bars. Price (3.5/5): on the pricer side of cookies especially since the cookies aren't that big. Ambiance (4/5): wonderfully colourful and cute store front! The inside is very small so expect to sit down, it's definitely designed as a to-go spot. I went for the hype, but while they were good, the cookies and his recipe are a tad bit too salty for me. I mean in the press about it, they do mention that they out in a bit more salt than usual, but I didn't expect it to be so obvious in the taste. I chose Sunday expecting them to be baked on Sunday & sent for delivery Monday morning. Mine were baked & picked up on a Friday to sit in a sorting facility for two days until delivery on Tuesday. so much for "fresh" cookies. My cousins brought Craig's cookies to dinner and boy oh boy was I excited. This was my first time trying these delectable cookies and I was blown away. The cookie was perfectly chewy and heating them up melted the chocolate making them gooey. All I can say is Craig's mom, you make INSANE cookies. Craig - the idea of stuffing your mom's cookies is genius. This little cookie baking shop bakes cookies all day long and always has rotating flavours. We tried the Mars, PB cup, Oreo, Cheesecake, and Ferro Rocher flavours. They were all soft and chewy and everything you want in a cookie. Honestly, the best flavours were the ones that were still warm straight out of the oven. i always make sure to visit this place if i'm downtown, even if i have to make a detour. they offer a lot of different things stuffed inside a chocolate chip cookie. hence, i'd say that their cookies are pretty good because their base is soft in the middle but crunchy on the edges. my personal favorites are the cinnamon bun & the strawberry pop tart. however, i do think that they're often a bit too sweet, and i also wished that they would offer some cookies (such as oatmeal) that aren't chocolate chip, because not everyone is for sure a huge fan of chocolate. read more

I recently tried them once again after receiving a pretty pink box with 6 assorted cookies. Threw them all out after sampling each one. Holy moly, the store smells intoxicating. I first saw them on Instagram, and suggested to one of my best friends that we stop by, because we were having dinner in the area, and she agreed. We came close to closing time on Saturday and, much to our dismay, found that most of what they had left was already spoken for. They only had 2 flavours left - shortbread and classic - which we happily took. Because we had a dinner reservation, we didn't dig into these until later that night, after we got back to my place. I personally don't like cookies that are too raw in the middle, and these cookies were definitely much softer than I like in the centre, so we popped these into the oven when I got home. My best friend just left hers in there for 5 mins to warm them up, and she loved them. I left mine in a shade too long - about 15mins - so they were very, very brown and riiiight about to start to burn, unfortunately. But they were perfectly cooked through and tasted great nonetheless. The shortbread one was especially good - super buttery and it melted in my mouth. The pricing was fair, in my opinion - we each got the $5 for 2 deal, and they are quite hefty in size. Not enormous, face-sized cookies, but they have some weight to them. This was quite good! Hopefully next time I'm in the area, they will have oreo, easter egg, and/or their peanut butter cup flavour available! read more

First, I want to say that I have tried the cookies a couple of times, different flavours each time, just so I am not missing anything. The people that work in the Church Street store are seriously the nicest people around. Always helpful, always pleasant. The cookies. The texture of the cookie is really really great. Soft and chewy, just how I like them. Unfortunately way way too sweet. Each cookie is pretty much the same base, chocolate chip, and from there it seems like a chocolate bar is then stuffed in the middle. Sweet chocolate chip cookie plus a chocolate bar is too much for me. Also, because the base of the cookies seem to be the same, the cookies then taste the same because the chocolate bar is stuffed on top. Until you hit that chocolate bar, it is just a chocolate chip cookie (a really good one). So, if a sweet chocolate chip cookie with a side of chocolate bar is your thing....this is the place to go! read more

Craig's Cookies is tucked away deep in Parkdale and may be a bit of a trek for some, but it's well worth the journey. The bright yellow store only opened within the last month or so but has been doing incredibly well. My first Craig's cookies experience did not disappoint - probably the best cookie I've had in Toronto. They offer a wide selection of unique cookies with various ingredients smashed and baked into the middle - pop tart, mars bars, mint patty, peanut butter cup, rice krispy, you name it. Definitely a cookie on the pricier side! I bought a half dozen cookies with a variety of different fillings...and the taste of each cookie were more or less the same. They use the same cookie dough but just stick different chocolates in the middle and not evenly spread out. So every first few bites are exactly the same until you get to the middle. read more

I was super excited to try Craig's Cookies since I'm a follower of many Toronto food blog pages. I visited on a Monday afternoon. It was a little cute shop with a wide array of cookies on display. My friend got a box of a dozen cookies of 12 different flavours and the gentleman serving us sold me on the 'Mystery Box' for $10. Basically he said "these cookies were made yesterday and it's a great deal because our cookies don't really go bad and its a variety of flavours in this box" Cool, I thought. He's right. Cookies don't go bad after a day. I got the mystery box and bit into the first cookie, it had smashed pieces of red smarties maybe? And some whole peanuts and I almost cracked my tooth. It was DEFINITELY OLD cookies. I was pretty disappointed because they actually tasted like 3-day-old cookies and weren't even soft on the inside. All the cookies in that mystery box were a big old dry disappointment. I got to try the "fresher" cookies that my friend got, I found it to be overly sweet, not as soft as I expected. "Meh. The first time I've tried their cookies was at William&Sonoma pop up at Yorkdale location. The cookies looked so tempting and I even wanted to try every single one that they had then! They had at least 7-8 choices back then! I remember trying one of their toblerone ones and oh dear! It was buttery and sweet and it just melts in my mouth! When I saw them doing a pop up at the Eaton Centre Nordstrom location, I could NOT resist and bought about 4 dozen for my colleagues (also I just wanted to try a bit of all flavours ). Wow. This place is incredible! The cookies are pricey but they are delicious. Be warned though, they rotate flavours quickly though and won't do call-ahead orders. They insist you go online but when you do, they charge you tax on top of the price (where as tax is included in the price in-store) and they charge delivery, even though you're picking up. The cookies are great though, as I said, with unique flavours like butter tart or pop tart in the chocolate chip cookies. They just need to work on their pre-order service. read more

I wanted to order cookies and called the store about creating a personel selection and was told that I either buy them the way they are offered on their website or not at all.
