If I could hand out a zero, I would. This place is infested with rats and mice. Their carpets reek of cat urine. Upon my stay, they actually tried to charge me a fee of $200 for smoking in the room. I tried to explain to them that the odor was present before I checked in. Unfortunately, the general manager, Lauren, is displaced and has no clue how to run a business establishment. Highly avoid this place as well as their other property. There are numerous better options on Cape Cod. The owners here are a huge problem. read more

Equivalent of the BATES MOTEL - I booked this hotel from another state and was assured it had been remodeled, family owned and clean. I was traveling for a family event and it was close and rates seemed ok. Everything else had been booked solid. Upon arrival the horror began, dirty room, holes in the wall, mold in the bathroom, spider webs and stains in the ceiling. The worst part however was the entire 'plastic' railing on the second floor could be shaken to a 30 to 40 degree angle back and forth. A potential death trap. There solution: See images and if I can post the video I will - yellow tape with a hand written note don't lean - are they kidding...I tried and tried to go elsewhere that day!!! Nothing was available at high season. STAY AWAY - this place should be shut down before someone is seriously injured or worse!!! read more

Our family has been coming to this hotel for years. We loved all the upgrades that were made with the new owners. I wish I could give the location ten stars because it's a very walkable distance to a beautiful beach. The world famous Four Seas Homemade Ice Cream is right across the street and the 1856 Country Store is one city block away. The free breakfast has everything we need from fun cereals to healthy oatmeal. The pool is very clean and is right next to a grassed area to sunbathe or even play corn hole. The rooms are very clean and downright cute with new quilts/bedding and the seem to be new TV's. I'm very sensitive to smells, especially smoking. I am very grateful they are so strict about not allowing smoking. My only wish would be for better WiFi service but a gentleman on line at Four Seas told me it's an issue on the whole Cape during the summer. I hope I don't regret pointing this out but this hotel is the least expensive of its kind in the area. Definitely stay at The Craigville Beach Inn. We might run into each other next July and then again in August. read more

Quintessential cape motel. Check in was a breeze, both adjoining rooms clean Pool area clean , pool very clean (indoor pool). Adirondack chairs out back on the grass, great are for multiple groups to get together and visit. Lots of shade to stay cool, or sun to catch some rays. Prices are more than reasonable for middle of summer. Close to beach, close to Hyannis scene. Read some of the other reviews and just sounded like folks with an axe to grind. read more

Arrived at the inn , the outside is beautiful . We were so excited to get there after a long drive . But that all went away . First impressions is always great . Check in was an experience . Office is gloomy and no energy . Checked in amd wemt to our rooms and wow were we surprised . Nothing that we expected for the money we paid . Just horrible looking . went back to the lovby amd Asked to speak to manager the girl at front desk said sorry she isnt here shes on vacation again . So who is active manager when she is off ? I asked is the pwner here , she said no her father is and he is on vacation also . So nobody ? She advised me that there is nobody in charge . That was the First Red Flag Rooms are ok but very gloomy and have an odor to them , and old . The worst part is our tub had hair and a ring around it . The older lady in housekeeping tried to argue with me when i asked for if to be cleaned , she said it was clean no more clean .. I also asked the housekeeper for some spray and she almost bit my head off and told me no. Second red flag She walked in and said dont smell and walked away . Breakfast is fruit , muffin and juice . ( its ok i guess due to covid ) Third red flag The front desk looks like they are greasy and no personality at all . I actually was scared to stay there because it felt like a funeral palor or a retirement home . If you need somewhere just to sleep this is it . But for the money they charge is definitely not worth it . Housekeepig needs some assistance In cleanliness and customer service . The best part was it is across the street from ice cream shop , walkable to beach but they also offer shuttle to beach which was great . Thats also Where we found there other property on the beach . That place looked like great ( hidden Gem ) and the lady at the desk was so pleasant And helpful . She gave us great ideas to do for the rest of our stay . so that was great it kept us out the tooms . Craigvile beach inn also has a snack bar next door which was great but very very high in price . The craigville beach inn does have an indoor pool in which we did not use because if our rooms wasnt really up to par we were not risking going into pool. But it is a beautiful "Looking" pool and cape cod is breathtaking . Will we stay here again ? On cape cod yes that is and this place never again . Especially how the customer service is there . The room was very clean and more or less what we expected from booking online. However our last night there I noticed a cockroach on the bedspread. I was polite and mentioned it to the management the next day, and asked for a partial refund for our stay. I have yet to hear back from management or the hotel so I'm assuming they don't care. Will not be staying there again. They are currently ignoring my calls following up on the matter. read more

Just got home after a lovey drive to the east coast . I was not going to leave a review but after staying at multiple hotels that were womderful , i couldnt let this be unsaid . Well where do i begin about the Craigville Beach Inn .. Housekeeing was ok give them a 2 star , the lady at front desk -1 star she was not pleasent . Then to realize she is the owners daughter and general manager according to one of the housekeepers . Well maybe she should go to customer service school for because her attitude was not nice . Then when we went to complain about how the room smells , looks old and worn down and there was cobwebs in the room . she had an instant attitide and did not accomadate us what so ever ( change to another room nor come and look ) was not offered , except attitude . I understand staff left but it is their responsibility to accomadte the customer . Who handles emergencies when housekeepers leave ? Instead She advised me that she never had a problem with that room smell before. The Room is old , smells , not clean and upsetting during this pandemic stage we are in . Rooms are ugly and not what is advertised definitly not worth the money . You would be better off staying at a motel 6 . They should get better management maybe a better attitude would make the place more inviting when checking in before you get to the disappointment of the room . The back yard was a nice touch , the indoor pool was a nice touch as well but that is about it . Cape cod is beautiful and it is a very nice place to visit with the right accommodations . Stayed for 3 nights and wish I could of stayed longer! Beautiful hotel! So close to the beach and local restaurants. The staff are super friendly and accommodating. A simple, cute, clean place to stay. Beautiful nature walks all around the property. Can't wait to return! read more

Very decent for what it is. This is a motel, nothing fancy, no frills, scratchy sheets, no outdoor pool or beach views but you know what? It was clean and not totally expensive. For that, I'd go back, you are not walking distance to any happening place, except Four Seas Ice Cream and that's about it but it's a decent place to stay. They have a shuttle to take you to Craigville Beach but it poured the day we were here and the other day I visited family who have a pool so I didn't partake in the shuttle. The continental breakfast is something you should not get your hopes up for...just coffee, some sad looking donut holes, NO TEA(!!), some sad looking fruit and a few wet bottles of water that were in a melted ice bucket. I was glad I ate a good breakfast at the Daily Paper a few miles down the road and at The Pancake Man in Yarmouth. The backyard with the adirondack chairs was a nice touch but they were wet and some had bird poop on them...the indoor pool was nice, no lifeguard and all the rules and regs posted throughout (you can't bring booze but it looked like a family was drinking something out of red cups while watching their young daughters dive and flip into the pool (no diving or flipping allowed fyi). I swam in the pool and it was quite refreshing and watched the rain pour down. Would I return? Sure if the price was right and I needed to be in that area. But again, it's clean and it was quiet and that's really all you need! read more

Clean place. Only a 2 minuet drive to the beach. Nice clean pool. Rooms are a little small and don't get much sunlight. Over all a pleasant experience. Would come back with my family again. read more

The stay wasn't cheap, which we expected since it was a weekend in August. Our double bed room was very simple and clean with an air conditioner and a tv. One problem we had was that there was a black out on the whole street so we had to sit in the hot room for a few hours. It was out of their control, but thankfully the electricity went back up before it became dark. The only thing that we would appreciate it if the room came with a hair dryer, since we were all girls. I never stayed at a hotel that didn't come with a dryer, maybe I'm spoiled in the places I stayed but with the amount we paid, it was inconvenient to not have one there. Overall, we appreciated the breakfast they prepared in the morning and the indoor pool was nice as well. The beach is also very close, not even a 5 minute drive. Not sure if I would come back for the price though. read more
