Terrible. Went in for an acrylic refill. The woman doing my nails was extremely rushed, she was just shoving my hands around, rushing through every step. As a result - extremely sloppy job. Acrylic was applied in a very thick and uneven layer. She then cut my cuticles with a pair of clippers she got out of her drawer - who knows on how many customers this was used on before. She cut three of my fingers and they were bleeding. Given how dirty the salon was, I just get nauseous thinking about all the infections I could've gotten there. At the end, she applied oil to my nails and just pointed me to the bottle of lotion, didn't even bother applying it herself. Cherry on top - their website says $30 for refill, but she charged be $45. I can't believe this place isn't shut down by department of sanitation. read more

Nice people. It was odd from the moment I walked in, a child napping in an empty room, another in a walker roaming free. Waited 20 mins for my scheduled appointment. Person kept getting up to pick up a child, handle money, switch laundry never washing his hands when he returned. Really bad!!!!! First off , the ventilation in the shop does not work . As a result the horrendous acrylic scent is unavoidable. If you want a regular pedi or mani you will not be in luck as far as selection of new nail colors. The OPI and Essie's are old, and dried out. Apparently the owner does not want to throw them away. They just add to them. As a result the color I choose not knowing, was old but was told after did not go on well so the technician kindly changed it. It was hard to find a newer bottle. Dip manicure is terrible, I've tried it several times and it chips off within days if not hours. It's not even a real dip manicure; they use the dip powder but then a gel topcoat and the UV light which is probably why it doesn't work correctly. Total waste of money and time. read more

Prices aren't listed anywhere in the "spa" or online, so my sister and I were shocked to find once it was all said and done that a regular manicure was $60. That is UNHEARD OF from a dingy hole-in-the-wall nail salon where my cuticles were assaulted, I was scalded by hot stones, the massage chairs didn't work and absolutely nothing appeared to be sterilized. Even if it had been the classiest mani/pedi known to man, $60 is pushing it! On the drive home I called to confirm that a regular mani/pedi is $60 since I saw reviews saying people had received a $60 GEL mani/pedi. The owner, through many clarifications and verbal acrobatics, confirmed that a regular manicure is $60 and a gel manicure is $65. I have converted all of my friends and family, and if anyone even remotely THINKS "pedicure" I am singing the praises of this place. If it means anything, I convinced my suspicious Marine grandfather to get a pedicure. Even more telling? HE ENJOYED IT. Where do I begin? Michelle, the owner, is an absolutely amazing human being. She works her butt off, and she and her family do quality work, which they take pride in. If you've ever been to a nail salon or a day spa or really anywhere you pay someone to do your nails, you know how disappointing it is when they don't turn out to your liking. Michelle and her family (because this is a family owned and operated business and that's the best part - it's done with love) pay attention to your needs and special requests. The cost is reasonable for the service they provide. This isn't a quick in-and-out place - and in the summer, you're going to want to avoid walking in, especially on rainy days. The fact that you might have to wait a few minutes (5, maybe 10 max most days) is, as far as I'm concerned, a testament to the fact that locals who frequent Cranberry Nails typically refuse to go anywhere else. Personally I don't even get my nails done on vacation because it's always such a bummer when they're not as competent and attentive as Michelle or her husband Cuong. Do yourself a favor - if you're too important to wait the five minutes it MIGHT take Michelle and her family to fit you in because you're too busy to call ahead, go elsewhere. They take whatever time they need to make sure the job is done RIGHT - and if you're that busy, there are plenty of lower quality salons on literally every corner who will get you in and out in a matter of minutes. read more

Second bad experience here This time I had a mani pedi ( for $60 which I think is a lot for the Cape) and the technician RACED through it, cut my finger with the cuticle clippers because she was rushing, wiped them blood away with a towel- who knows if it was even clean. I asked her to slow down and she did not. She didn't let my nails soak before assaulting my cuticles , I had to tell her to Clean off the clear polish that had been on my nails already before putting on new polish, barely wiped off the hand cream from my nails before applying polish so I don't expect that this expensive manicure will even last. Wish I could give NO stars. Called the place to get appointments for 2 manicures. They said to come in at noon. We got there at noon and they said pick color and have a seat in waiting area. We then waited 25 minutes and someone came out and told us to have a seat at the manicure tables. We could overhear 2 ladies finishing up pedicures and asking about their manicures. They insisted they had mani/pedi appointments and nail ladies saying no. We waited another 10 minutes at manicure table and no came over to us and now 2 ladies are also waiting for manicures that is not in schedule. It was an awful pedicure. They cut my toenails way too short and crooked, to the point where even the next day it feels like my nails were ripped off. I told the nail technician it hurt when she cut my nails and she made the excuse that she didn't want to leave them too long and that sometimes there is toe meat under your nail that can get cut. Worst excuse I have ever heard! My massage chair was broken and the atmosphere was definitely not relaxing or friendly. I would never go back again for a pedicure. read more

Not relaxing. Actually arm was getting so heavy. Asked for Dazzle Dry and they don't use the Dazzle dry system o my the polish and charge $80!!!!!! This was the worst Gel manicure I've ever had. My mom and I came here as a big treat to have a mother-daughter bonding experience. While I get my nails done often, my mother gets her nails done once a year, so this was supposed to be a big event. We made an appointment and were the first ones in on a Saturday morning. They rushed through the process - did not cut the nails (aggressively filing to the point of cutting skin on the sides), did not cut the cuticles, and quickly put on the polish then left. At no point did they soak the nails to soften the cuticles or prepare the nails. After the gel dried, they haphazardly put cream on our forearms, not the hands or the fingers. We expressed our dissatisfaction with the roughness and the lack of care while still sitting and they assured us it was fine. After we paid, we again said the nails were rough and had hangnails which they quickly tried to file down after the gel while we stood at the register - did not sit us down to try to fix or mend the issues or show concern. It appeared they were more attentive to other clients who came in after us. Our appt was at 9, we sat down with our colors at 9:05, and they were done with us by 9:20. Beyond the actual nail polish experience, the place appeared messy and the tools were not in one of the sanitary bags so it's unclear whether these were at all clean and the man doing the nails reeked of tobacco. I was referred to this spa by Bellezza Day Spa, which still does not have a manicurist on staff. I made an appointment for my mom and I for regular mani pedis. Because this came from such a highly regarded spa, I thought that my experience here would be similar. How wrong. Despite making an appointment, we were taken nearly 30 minutes later (I had made the appointment because we had plans later in the day). My manicurist proceeded to sit me in the spa, and I waited another 20 minutes before I was finally seen. The pedicure was subpar. The manicure started peeling along the sides just a few days afterwards. I was shocked when we were charged $60 each. What spurred me to write a review was when I took my pedicure polish off a week afterwards. Four of my toenails had not looked quite right after I left. Well, all four were somehow cracked from the side in, and a lot of polish was put on top to try and "mend" it. When I saw the girl in the chair next to me complain about her nail being broken by the manicurist, I should have known. I am appalled. I should have gone to the spa at Walmart! read more

We came as a bachelorette party of 6 and they were super accommodating, even staying open past close to make sure everyone's services were completed. You can bring in wine, and appetizers, and they were so nice about refilling our drinks for us while in the pedi stations. The front of the store has four pedi stations together, and the back has two. The owner is amazing, she was so sweet, and had a great attention to detail. After my pedi I had my eyebrows done and they did a fantastic job, right on par price wise for the quality I received. I got gel nail polish done. The polish was painted onto my cuticles, which were not cared for at all, which causes a bubble under the polish. Cranberry is fabulous! I'm very picky and paranoid about nail salons and their cleanliness... This place is spotless. The staff are all so friendly, attentive to detail, and really want you to relax and leave happy. I had a pedicure (done by a man, who was great). It was $35 for about 45 minutes, including hot stones on my legs, leg massage, and warm wet towels wrapped around my calves for a few minutes. The pedicure itself was perfect, my toes have never looked better and my legs are the softest they've ever been. I have paid $70 for pedicures in Boston that aren't nearly as good as Cranberry. They even served delicious tea in cute tea cups! Also, they had already closed but still took me and didn't rush the process at all. I highly recommend it. Looks like a place that'd be perfect for bridal parties too- the man told me they accommodate large bridal groups and provide wine/champagne. read more

While on vacation, I figured it would be a treat to get my nails done and this place was super convenient in relevance to Falmouth Center. However, it was flat out terrible. I spent an hour in there to ONLY have someone spend five minutes on my nails. The employee went so fast on my mani that she stood the entire time, didn't cut or clean my nails, and painted them so poorly they were on the edges of fingers. They then chipped the day after. I scheduled a manicure and pedicure. When they filled the tub for my pedicure it was filled with floating cut nails from previous clients. After my pedicure was finished, I stepped out on to the floor, and it was disgustingly dirty. Don't know how they could have a 4 star rating.
