I have never before encountered such an unprofessional salon. On July 2nd, 2024, I booked an appointment for a blow dry with Renee for August 7, 2024 at 4pm. When I received a confirmation email for the appointment on Monday, August 6th, I confirmed. I then reached out to my wedding photographer and we confirmed our engagement session for Wednesday, August 7th, following my hair appointment. Two hours before my appointment I received a call from Terry (Terri, Teri), at the salon saying there was a computer glitch and they were canceling my appointment. As you can imagine, I was quite frustrated and was asking Terry how this could have happened. Mid conversation, I noticed there was no one on the line. I called the salon back saying I must have been disconnected and asked if she had been the same person I was speaking with before. She said she hadn't been the one to call me and cancel but when I pressed her on who else it could have been she said she had no idea. I asked if she could find out as this was a big deal to me and she said she couldn't ask the stylists who would have called me because they were all with clients. I then asked how they would have called me 2 minutes prior if they were all with clients and so busy with them that she couldn't ask a simple question like "did you call and cancel this persons appointment?" Disliking the fact that I had caught her in this lie, she hung up on me again. Since she kept hanging up on me, I had to call back a third time, as she had yet to confirm for me that I would not be charged for this last minute cancellation. This is something I would have addressed in the initial conversation had I not been hung up on. I told her that respectfully, I didn't trust her "word" that I wouldn't be charged as they waited until 2 hours before my appointment to cancel on me. I requested an email be sent to me so that if I was automatically charged by their system I would have a way to dispute it. She told me she was too busy to send the email right then. It is now two hours later and I have yet to receive the email I requested. I have never experienced such poor customer service. I will say that I am glad I found out now, before I booked their services for my other wedding events this fall in Falmouth. read more

Bellezza makes vacationing on the Cape worry-free. This is my second summer visiting Bellezza for a color touch up while on vacation. Lisa is very talented. As soon as she greeted me, she immediately knew my base color was lighter than last summer. She tweaked the formula for a perfect color match. Not only is Lisa talented, she's also super sweet. Massage and facials were amazing. However the receptionist was less than professional. I arrived a bit early for my appointments and was directed to the lounge area. My appointment was at 1:00, or so I thought. Turns out the appointment was for 1:10. No problem. Sat down in the lounge and now it's 1:25 p.m. Went to the receptionist to inquire about the massage. She told me the therapist was cleaning the room, and I would be next. I commented nicely that perhaps someone could have come out and given me that information about running late. I got a snarky remark about you do want a clean room, don't you and she walked away. To may when this may seem like I'm nit picking, but when you are paying $130.00 for a facial and $140.00 for a massage, then communication is key. I recently had Chris change my hair color and cut and she did an amazing job! On both! She corrected and got rid if the red brassy color in my hair and gave me a very classy cut!! As the husband and I ventured across the country to tour NE law schools, we got to venture to Falmouth and Martha's Vineyard for our babymoon. Our second day in town my husband surprised me with a prenatal massage at Bellezza, along with one of his own. Unfortunately we booked last minute and weren't able to do them simultaneously or in the same room, but nonetheless I'm glad they fit us in. Upon walking in, pop music was playing and were were met by an extremely kind receptionist who offered us water, tea, coffee. I accepted peppermint hot tea, that was given to me in a white mug and saucer, as we were taken to the waiting area that had a fireplace and cushioned couches/chairs. This waiting area was so comfy and cozy, it definitely started the whole relaxation experience. We both filled out a page worth of paperwork that asked details on our health and history, that the masseuses take before the massage. Now, for the massages themselves. I got a prenatal massage and the table was bent into a sort of V shape, where I laid on my back and my feet were highly elevated. I liked this, especially after all my traveling, I was dealing with quite a bit of swelling. She put on some relaxation sounds and started with my head and shoulders then moved to my feet and legs. She had a very firm pressure that I enjoyed, especially while working on my shoulders. It was clear I had several knots she was working out. When she got to my feet and legs, where she spent 40% of her time, I'm not going to lie but it felt so good I knocked out and started snoring lol (embarrassing). I woke myself up from a snore and apologized, she said it was completely fine and to just relax. After the feet and legs, she moved to my back. To get to my back, she had me lay on my side with a pillow between my legs. I will say that as a pregnant lady with a whole lot of belly, this position wasn't ideal and took some time to get comfortable in, but I did. This was evident from me falling asleep again haha When the massage concluded, I felt incredibly relaxed I just wanted to stay on that table and take a nap! Overall a very good massage. The massage was 50 minutes for $85 I believe, and I would say that it was worth it. I was completely relaxed and relieved of pressure. To make this a 5 Star experience, I only wish that we had been able to switch sides for the back portion towards the end and maybe have a table where they have the cut out that cups the belly. Regardless, it was well worth the time and money. Happy to have included Bellezza in our babymoon. read more

I can't speak to the treatment but I can say they have no respect for their customers. Had an appointment for a haircut. When I went in they said they were running 10 mins late. Thirty to forty minutes later the hair dresser told me that she was just finishing up the highlights of previous customer and needed 10-15 mins more. About 25 mins longer and now I see her washing the hair and starting an appointment with someone else. When I asked what the situation was they said they were running behind. I can understand and accept that, but be honest and let the customer know so they aren't sitting and waiting needlessly. I left and will not be going back to Bellezza Spa in Falmouth , MA. read more

I'm going to start out by saying that my massage therapist Michelle was great! She did a wonderful job and really took her time and attention on the areas that I asked her to. She is excluded from my review of the spa, 5 stars for her. There is a lot of space in this spa that they could've utilized better. There is a large space with empty shelves, and a small space for seating. There are no separate locker rooms, but there are also no lockers anywhere provided to place your belongings. I like to have peace of mind in a day spa. Maybe take some of the empty shelves out and add some space that people can lock up there belongings and not have to worry about carrying them around. I was told I didn't need a locker, I take my belongings in the room with me. Also, just a suggestion: In the sitting room when you are waiting for your therapist, there is an empty diagonal wall. That is the perfect space for a nice long side table, where you can have some flavored water, maybe some tea, maybe some fruit and nuts. You don't get robes to change into, ok. You are supposed to undress in the massage room. Ok also. What they need to provide, again another suggestion, is at least a table and a hook area next to it, in the room, that you could fold your clothes and place them on and/or hand up. Also so that You can place you pocketbook/wallet/keys/jewelry on that you weren't able to lock up. I had to put my pocketbook on the floor and my clothes on a chair. In all fairness, They are trying to be a nice upscale spa, and they are right there. But they need to step up their game just a little bit. I had a nice time and I liked my massage very much ,but just a few little tweaks would make this place really great. read more

I went to Bellezza to get my hair and make-up done for my best friend's wedding that took place in Falmouth. At first I was apprehensive of the salon, not only because it was the most generally expensive option in the town of Falmouth, but also that they charge $20 for lash application, even if you bring your own lashes! I have never experienced this in many years. After the bride had her trial and her make-up done beautifully, I agreed to make an appointment for myself. My stylist was rushed to get me done quickly but not efficiently, clearly to get on to her next client. My hair didn't look like what I had asked for, but she assured me it would, and that it would stay put despite such a windy day. I have blonde hair and my roots needed a little coverage in the front after being sprayed with hair spray. My stylist showed me to a highlight root fixing crayon tester. When she picked up the tester for me to use on my hair, it fell to the floor and broke, so she incredulously responded that she couldn't open another and I would have to purchase the crayon for $23... I asked why she couldn't just open one and have it be the tester, and she responded "No, we don't do that here, the tester is different than the actual product." This was of course ridiculous, asking me to pay when she dropped something. I asked if she would ask her manager, who was fine with opening one to be a tester. Was my stylist untrained? When it came to my make-up, I regrettably paid extra for the lashes for a grand total of $90 for make-up only. As the lashes were drying she says, "after this you're done" - I was shocked! She never added liner or mascara to fuse the fake lashes to my own. When I looked closer the fake lashes weren't even close to my own lashes! It was a half-baked job (at best), something I wouldn't even expect at a salon priced much lower. I ended up asking my friend's make-up stylist to add mascara to my lashes and she responded that everyone learns how to apply lashes differently. As I was sitting, waiting for my friend's hair and make-up to be done, several of the 75ish bobby pins fell out of my hair, and I wasn't even outside in the wind yet. By this point my stylist was out of site and on with her next client, so she couldn't fix it. In the end, I'm writing such a long review because I truly hope to save somebody else from the mistake it would be to give this salon your money for hair and make-up. Especially for a wedding - your stress is better spent elsewhere. read more

Worst massage ever! I went to Bellezza this past Saturday, looking forward to an 80 minute massage starting at 2:30pm. Michelle came to get me from the waiting area at 2:37. She brought me to the designated room, which had a strong smell of cigarette smoke. There, she asked me what what kind of massage I wanted and any areas in particular that she should focus on....I told that I wanted a Swedish massage and hoped to get my circulation going and that I loved my hands to be massaged, because I spend time on a computer. She then, left me to change for another 7 minutes! I started on my back, Michelle was behind my head and the smell of cigarettes was overwhelming. Between the smell and the lack of efforts...the massage was beyond lame. Michelle spent approximately one minute on each hand...I asked her (as it was not in the slightest bit relaxing or enjoyable) if I could change to a 50 minute massage instead of 80 minute. She said yes. She ended at exactly 3:20. So in reality, my massage was about 15 minutes shorter then 50 minutes. I went out pay and told the receptionist that it was a very disappointing experience.... That my masseuse and the room smelled like cigarettes, and that I put lotion on my grandchildren with more intensity to than what Michel put into my massage. The receptionist said "I will make sure I tell the manager" and then asked if I wanted to add a tip to my $95 bill? ...so customer satisfaction is clearly not an issue for them... read more

I went to the spa for an activating scrub. I've had this before. It involves an exfoliating scrub on the entire body, followed by a shower and application of body cream. What I got was exfoliating scrub on the back of my body, no shower and application of body cream on the back of my body only. When I asked why I wasn't able to take a shower, the esthetician said the shower was not included with this treatmen. never found out why the front of my body wasn't scrubbed. I expressed my displeasure at the front desk and they said they would talk to the esthetician and get back to me. Has been a week and I have heard nothing. Will not return unless there is an explanation. read more

I had a great wax service here. I wish I could remember the woman's name who did it. She was quick and thorough. The woman at the front desk was friendly. I would say that the room I was in could have been cleaner. There were pieces of wax on the floor from a previous appointment. Nice storefront. Chilly in the waiting area. I came for a massage and wondered if the massage room would be warmer. It wasn't. The massage therapist was good--enjoyed my time and knots were worked out well. But not only was the massage room chilly, someone walked in during my massage. Apparently the room I was in was a spare room they use during busy times. Should have an "Occupied" sign to post when in use. This spare room was also crammed and hard for the massage therapist to move around the table. After reading other reviews it looks like better communication and training of staff should be priorities for management. read more

This is clearly not a place that specializes in nail services and I have friends who got massages and loved them. However, I paid over $80 for the worst mani/pedi I have ever experienced. The appointment started 30 minutes late, and the receptionist wasn't apologetic at all when we asked what was going on. The manicurists were very nice but disorganized, the pedicure and manicure water was cold, my cuticles weren't cut and my nails were filed unevenly and were catching on my clothes afterwards. Afterwards, I was standing in the lobby waiting to pay, and the woman at the desk completely ignored me until I specifically asked if I could pay. I went in for a blow out with 5 other women this weekend for a wedding and it was a terrible experience. From the minute we walked in to the door the service was terrible. The girl at the front desk was rude. I asked for water and it was a hassle. My hair came out terrible, it was nothing like what i asked for, which was a simple blow out. The other women I went with didnt get what they asked for. We all went back to the hotel and had to re-do our hair. Bad service all around and unfriendly staff. read more

Bellezza Day Spa is the type of place you expect to see in the city, so it was a nice surprise to find a place like this in Falmouth! I went in for a Swedish massage with Angela today and found the experience both relaxing and professional -- I would highly recommend her services, one of the best massages I have ever had! Everyone at the spa was very accommodating - a lovely experience! My sister had her hair cut and styled by Sebastian who also did a fantastic job! As for the downfalls: the place is very busy and it was difficult to get an appointment last minute (I called the day prior) and the gentleman at the front desk made quite a few errors (including booking me for a deep tissue massage instead of Swedish) but was very courteous and pleasant other than that. Walked in hoping for a haircut right before Easter weekend and snagged time with stylist Tricia. So glad she fit me in - she gave me a beautiful and long overdue cut with cute layers. I'd definitely return to her and trust her. I have straight finer hair and asked for a long bob with some layers but still let me put it up in a pony tail for nursing. Tricia was incredibly friendly and enjoyable to chat with. I tend to feel awkward with some stylists but she was warm and relateable. Haircut with shampoo and blow dry: $60 (not including tip) Falmouth is an expensive area so you're paying more for the location. The spa itself is beautiful, spacious, airy. read more

I have gone here for many massages at many places and last week I went to Bellezza to cure my aching muscles and received the best massage ever. I received an amazing 80 minute massage from Angela and recommend you ask for her. I like to ride my bike and run daily, so my muscles get sore and tight. She did an awesome job getting out the knots. Using hot towels, and stones was pretty unique and did the job. I can't recommend their services enough, especially for those runners and cyclists out there. If you want quality service in a beautiful atmosphere Bellezza is the place to go. read more

Came here with my sister to donate our hair together, after growing it out for over a year. When my sister called, she explicitly said we would be donating our hair. When we arrived, I was serviced by Amanda, who was completely unknowledgeable about hair donations. The minimum donation requirement is 8in, she tried to encourage me to cut 6in off. When I said I wanted to donate 8, she goes "well we can start with 6 and then I can cut another two off later"....... I'm sorry but it doesn't work that way. Donated hair is also supposed to be cut dry and secured with a hair tie. She washed my hair first, but I figured she is the professional so I'll trust her. She then went to cut my hair before putting it in a ponytail. I couldn't see that she had started, but my mom interjected after she was halfway through. She defensively said something along the lines of "I've been cutting hair for 10 years I know what I'm doing. Im going to pick it up in pieces at the end and wrap it together the I'll blow dry it (which she never did)" at that point the damage was already done so I just let it be. She then picked up clumps of hair off the ground (only about half my heads worth) and tried it up in a hair tie, facing all different ways and not lined up. It's so haphazardly put together and the ends are not lined up. What's even worse is that it's most certainly is less than 8 inches, meaning that my hair donation that I've been waiting for a year to do is not long enough and COMPLETELY wasted. THEN when she went to style my hair, I had to stop her because she began cutting my hair without even asking me what I wanted to do with my hair. She insisted that we had discussed it but I told her she never asked me. She apologized for that about 20 mins later. On top of all this incompetence, she called my hair LIFELESS and pushed products on me, following up by saying "now you'll never have to do a big cut again". As though the purpose of my donating hair was for self-centered reasons and not a charitable donation for others in need. I would have said much more during the haircut to point out these flaws, but what are you supposed to do when the person who needs to be corrected, has already displayed defensive behaviors and is holding the scissors? read more

I'm done with this place. I had a terrible experience with getting a simple eyebrow wax and after 3 tries the esthetician still couldn't get it right. I was left with having to finish the job myself after paying $20 plus $5 tip! The esthetician was clearly inexperienced. I absolutely love Bellezza! Right in downtown Falmouth, the place is elegant and welcoming. Alexis does the best mani-pedi in town! She is friendly and knowledgeable. She listens to your needs, takes care of you, and pampers you as much as you need. I was a loyal client of Glow (her former business), and now I have followed her to Bellezza, which is even in a better location. The sunless spray tan (either in the booth or the customized air-spray) is also a great option for those who don't want to spend hours in the sun but appreciate a healthy glow on their skin. I have been doing it for a while and not once has anybody asked me whether it was a natural tan. read more

It was 80 minutes and she went so fast the whole time. It was not as relaxing as I had hoped. I had my hair done here once in the past and it was a similar experience.
