Its hygienist is perhaps the saving grace here. And even that wasn't perfect with reference made to the inability to do a cleaning if certain conditions weren't met and was even "against the law." First time I've run into that scenario in more than 50 years. I am glad others have had better experiences. I sure didn't. I hope mine was a one-off. I would NOT recommend this office unless you are a perfect specimen with nothing wrong with your dental health and you have deep pockets with readily available cash flow. Dr Smaltz had an emergency message on the phone line indicating that his current patients could text him a message in case of emergency. I wrote him a note explaining my situation. It was obvious in his communique that he understood the fact that I didn't have a dentist and I was in dire need of seeing one. I was able to make an emergency appointment for the following day. I felt so fortunate to be able to see him so quickly. When I met the staff and saw the doctor, I couldn't have wished for anything better! Everyone was so nice and extremely competent!! I am always so concerned about cleanliness, and the office was super hygiene! I didn't have to worry at all! I have a clear picture of the road ahead. And I know how much it will cost! This dentist is the best! I am going back to see him to continue my care.
