I have a condition called radionecrosis which makes dental work very very difficult. I have neglected proper dental care due to embarrassment from the damage done by the radiation. My first visit with Dr. Lambert was due to a damaged tooth that shattered. I was in pain and needed to be seen. They made room for me in the schedule and had me come right in. There was no waiting or delaying for insurance or otherwise. Dr. Lambert and his team have always made me feel comfortable and welcome. He took the time to explain why my problems were radiation related and how a treatment plan could be worked to protect and preserve as much of my original dental work as possible. It has now been 6 years that I have been going to Dr. Lambert and after that first visit. He was right that he is doing his best to help me survive. After numerous root canals, crowns, and cavities he still treats me with care and compassion. He regularly gives out his cell phone number if you have after hours concerns so you dont have to navigate an answering service and wait for return calls. The office staff up front have been nothing but awesome. I have dental insurance and each time they explain any charges and work with me so that I can budget treatment and planning. I never have felt they didn't know my needs or that I was a number. They always are accommodating. A few times dental emergencies have happened between paydays and they always worked with me to make sure I was taken care of first and worked out the business end afterwards. I can say their true motto and mission is to provide top quality dental care in a compassionate and competent office. I would recommend anyone to them without hesitation. My wife sees Dr. Griffies at the same practice and has the same response with him and his staff. I think that CDA is built around that patient first attitude!

Coweta Dentistry is a dental practice which has 3 different locations which act like they run…read moreindependently. If you want to go to a different location, they'll probably charge you and make you take new xrays for your next dentist. Also, each of the dentists at Coweta Dentistry accept only certain dental insurance plans of their own choosing. Also, if you are a new patient, they will probably assign you to a dentist fresh out of dental school or with minimal experience who knows very little. The most experienced dentist there named Dr Swords, who looks like Spock from Star Trek, takes no new patients because he is just that good. The only staff who do a good job are the dental hygienists who do teeth cleaning. However, if you want a dentistry which does more than teeth cleanings, best you go elsewhere.

I pay my bills through my Bank and placed the payment in. I received yet another 'reminder' of what I owed before my payment was posted at Vassey. Update: Feb. 9th, 2026; Vassey Dental Partners reached out; asked if I wanted the automated emails to stop. I agreed; and they disabled this feature for me.

Then they recommended I get two crowns, both of which they wanted to charge me over $1,000.00, even with my insurance which covers %60 of major restorative ( I.e. crowns). The bottom line is, if you can afford to be over charged for dental services, Vassey Dental is for you. But it's not for me.

I have been a patient for most of that corresponding time period, though I'm obviously a little older. During that time, we've had the same hygienists, seen the same dentist and assistant, and seen little to no front-office turn over. They are all friendly, efficient and effective. In reading one of the earlier reviews, I do have to admit that Joel at checkout does have a dry sense of humor, and if he's busy, he can be direct and efficient, which I personally appreciate. He has never been rude and he and the entire staff are excellent at handling insurance claims and emergencies - though I've only had one emergency, fortunately. Dr. Smith and team are the dentist office you wish you had growing up and growing old, whichever the case may be.
