I had fillings done that were not completed properly, and I continued to experience pain afterward. I returned to the office multiple times to report the pain and discomfort, but my concerns were not adequately addressed. Rather than identifying the actual cause, I felt my symptoms were dismissed, and the problem remained unresolved. After seeking a second opinion from another dentist, I learned that the fillings had not been done correctly and needed to be completely replaced. The new dentist also identified the source of the pain based on my X-rays, which had not been correctly diagnosed during my visits to this office. Unfortunately, I was not the only one in my family to have this experience. Another family member also had fillings completed here that ultimately had to be replaced by a different dentist due to poor workmanship. I understand that no dentist is perfect, but I expect concerns about ongoing pain to be taken seriously and for X-rays to be interpreted accurately when diagnosing the cause of a patient's symptoms. My experience resulted in unnecessary pain, additional dental work, and extra expense that could have been avoided.

In one case, a filling was done improperly in a way that allows food particles to become trapped underneath it, leading to an unpleasant odor and concern about long-term dental health. These issues point to a lack of precision and attention to detail in the work performed. Dental procedures, especially fillings, should be done correctly the first time to avoid unnecessary complications and additional treatment. I hope Arena Dental Group takes steps to improve the quality and accuracy of their dental work to prevent other patients from experiencing similar issues. I have real trauma from past dental treatments and dental offices along with having a medical condition that doesn't allow me to lie flat on my back let alone with my head tilted back. I've had anxiety attacks just preparing for dental appointments for fear of having another dismissed/painful/mistreated experience. I say all of this because I feel I've finally found a dentist and dental office that understands the patient's perspective and is so Informative so I know why and what needs to be done for my individual treatment needs. The office is really nice and modern. The staff is AMAZING. They were able to get me a new crown in less than 2 weeks to replace a crown I had done in California (which was improperly fitted and causing a lot of sensitivity) . My new crown is great, no sensitivity or issues flossing, and I can finally chew on that side of my mouth again! Dr. Johnson & all the staff at Premier are the best and I absolutely recommend their business.
