My family stopped by this location after a doctor's appointment. As soon as I walked in, I noticed that they were open 24 hours and they had an extensive menu. I ordered the two egg breakfast with sourdough toast and a Americano. My daughter ordered a breakfast burrito, and my husband ordered oatmeal. We were all extremely happy with our meals. Not one complaint. My eggs were creamy, soft, and fluffy, and the hash browns were crisp, and golden brown with a tender center. My daughter described her burrito as simply delicious with the green salsa. Also, for a more indulgent meal, you can always add a sweet treat. The dazzling array of baked goods were too good to pass up. My daughter had to try the Dubai Chocolate Chip Cookie. It was delicious! Service was top notch. I have been here 3 times in the past and surprisingly didn't do a review on them. Well, there is a first time for everything. So here it goes. My friend had an early flight to catch, and we wanted to eat together before she took off to Burbank airport. We walked in on the 22nd of this month at exactly 7:35am, and were nicely greeted by Brian and another employee by the name of Carolina. Both were very nice, and somewhat helpful. Checked on us few times. You order at the counter, they give you a number and you get to choose whether or not you want to sit inside or outside. We chose to sit inside since it was still a little cold to sit outside. Place was very clean, and for it being open 24/7, there was no one inside the restaurant. It's a nice size restaurant along with another restaurant that sells sushi. Right inside/adjacent, separated by a wall. Unfortunately, it was closed due to renovation. Too bad, I wanted to get some sushi for later on. Brian, being a young, new employee took our order and needed some help from Carolina. He was working there for less than 5 months. We ordered a few things from their super extensive menu that practically has everything from A to Z. Not going to get too much into details, took a lot of pictures and you can see them for yourself. Got their Garden Omelette with: broccoli, green/yellow zucchini, tomato, Mozzarella cheese, sautéed mushrooms, comes with salad and I had asked for Ranch dressing, but they still put their Vinaigrette dressing which I don't like. (people don't listen well). I also asked for the Turkey bacon that it came with to be extra crispy. It was less than cooked, let alone crispy. Sent the plate back TWICE and still, bacon didn't come to our table crispy. Food was really fresh and delicious. Somewhat hot too. We also got their Crave Benedict, asked for the eggs to be over medium, and it came with poached eggs. Sides were Hash Browns and we asked for sautéed spinach instead of both-- the bacon and the ham. At this point, I was exhausted to correct their mistakes, and very hungry. Asked for the Hollandaise sauce to be on the side, and they didn't even bring the sauce. It also came with side of fruit. Sliced Oranges and Strawberries. Very fresh fruit. Eventually got the Spinach, but it was steamed. Not to forget to mention the Sourdough bread was way overly toasted. I also got their large hot Lavender Latte with Oat milk, made to perfection! Nice and hot. She stayed with water. As we were about to leave, I told Carolina to take the Benedict back, which was not even touched, She asked me "what's wrong with it"? I replied "EVERYTHING"! Instead, I ordered their Turkey Panini Sandwich with: lettuce, tomato, Mozzarella cheese, sprouts, with a touch of Pesto spread that also came with salad. It was just swapping the food. So there was only a $2.00 difference. It has 3 gender neutral restrooms. Used them twice and they were super clean. Has street parking and few spots in the back of the Cafe. It was all taped up with yellow tape, like some kind of a crime scene was happening. This place is overly rated. Not like the Crave Cafe in Studio City. That's all for now. My family and I were first-time visitors to this restaurant. We'd driven by here dozens of times, but we decided to stop for breakfast. Not knowing what to expect, we were pleasantly surprised by how nice and large the restaurant was the minute we stepped inside. It was extremely clean, well maintained, well organized, and inviting. Two employees immediately welcomed us. Amazing-looking pastries and cookies were on display in enclosed glass cases. The huge menu options were clearly posted on the menu board hanging on the wall behind the counter, and the aroma of delicious food being cooked and prepared filled the air. Employee Carolina took our order at the counter. Carolina was extremely friendly, outgoing, hardworking, and answered each of our questions regarding a couple of the items on the menu. My family and I ordered a 2-egg breakfast with turkey bacon, hash browns, and sourdough; steel-cut oats with banana; a turkey bacon panini; and a Dubai chocolate cookie. We also ordered a few pastries to go. I can honestly share that our food was DELICIOUS!! Each item was flavorful, seasoned perfectly, and filling. We were very happy with our breakfast. Tried this spot for the first time before grabbing some Gelato next door!! Parking again is not great along Ventura. Basically all metered parking unless you park in some kind of shopping center and just walking over. High ceilings and huge menu!! Lots of seating and even some outside. You walk in and order your food up front, they give you a number for your table and you can sit anywhere. My bf got the strawberry cream cheese crepe, I got a medium iced hazelnut latte, and their chicken and waffles. The lady asked if I wanted wings or tenders for my waffles and I went for the tenders for once. I usually prefer wings but didn't want to deal with the mess at the time. We sat at our table and food came out pretty quickly. The young man gave us our food and asked if we needed anything else and yes actually, we did. My chicken and waffles didn't come with butter or syrup so I obviously had to ask for it which he had in his pocket anyway and gave it to me? It was weird, I'm sure he just forgot but still.. my chicken and waffles were bare lol! The chicken tenders had the texture of nuggets so that threw me off a little but I liked it! Crave Café is easily one of my absolute favorite spots! I've been coming here for a while now, and it never fails to impress. If you come here, you have to try the California Crave Burger. Think of it as an upgraded, massive version of In-N-Out--juicy beef, American cheese, classic thousand island sauce, fresh tomatoes, and lettuce. The burgers are huge and extremely filling; I usually cut mine in half and save the rest for the next day because the portions are so generous. Pro-tip: add avocado and extra grilled onions, and definitely ask for extra sauce on the side! Pair it with their incredible fries, and you're set. Beyond the burgers, their menu is stacked with delicious options made fresh--from crêpes, pancake sandwiches, and breakfast burritos to scratch-made salads, daily baked cookies, pastries, smoothies, and pizza. *Updated review 12 years and 2 kids later* I used to come here over a decade ago when this place was 24 hours or closed extremely late (I can't remember. Probably faded at the time) and we would come in after clubbing or attending rap battles a few stores down at the record shop. Now Crave has turned into my 6 year olds favorite breakfast spot before dropping him off at school (wow have times changed!). It's located a few blocks from his school so we stop in a little after they open and I let him go crazy on the menu and order whatever he wants. Every time time we arrive, the lady who takes our order is so patient with my son as he tries to figure out what he wants and she asked him normal questions about his order and I just get a kick out of their interactions. The place is usually empty and very clean. They are actually still cleaning up a few things when we arrive, while setting up a few things on the patio. We enjoy sitting on their comfy couches in the corner and if it's nice outside, the patio is a great option (although you are on the corner of Van Nuys Blvd and Ventura Blvd intersection during traffic so there is a lot of honking going on). The food is still great and we've ordered a lot of items on the menu. We've had everything from breakfast burritos, French toast, salmon, to fish tacos, and yogurt parfaits. We honestly haven't had a bad meal yet. They also make smoothies which I haven't had the chance to try yet and it seems like they can honestly make anything you ask them for. They have an assortment of pastries, cookies, and cakes and they have a wide variety of drinks such as smoothies, Italian sodas, milkshakes, boba coffee and tea. I stopped by here this morning to pick up crepes for my wife. I placed my order online and put in the notes to put the Nutella and powder sugar on the side. If you never been here then just know it's street parking only. I always park across the street in a plaza with other stores and then just walk to this place. There are other parking garage nearby but I don't know if you have to pay now to park there. I arrived early and checked in with the lady at the counter. She said they were still working on it but it will be ready soon. We generally have had a very good experience with this restaurant, particularly Crave Sushi. Crave Cafe does very good burgers and Paninis. Unfortunately, we made the mistake of ordering the Beef Fajitas from their takeout/delivery menu. They should call the dish Red and Green Pepper Fajitas, because it hardly had any beef and the beef that was in the dish was cut up into 1/4 to 1/3 inch chunks. This wasn't Beef Fajitas. It was Beef Tacos or a Beef Burrito. We also ordered Birria tacos, but got a call from the restaurant saying they were out of Birria. So we substituted with chicken. At least the chicken in the tacos was in 1/2 inch chunks and more meaty than the Fajitas. I've attached the Beef Fajitas photo from their website, which shows strips of beef, garnished with peppers and onions. It looks nothing like the dish we received, which was no meat buried in green and red peppers. I'm aware there's no truth in advertising. But, we paid $17.50 for Fajitas that looked like something you'd get at Taco Bell. Please improve this item or remove it from your menu. Thanks. read more

The menu is vast and filled with both breakfast, lunch and dinner selections. Impressive that they are open till 2 am. There is both inside and outside seating. When you walk in, several cakes and pastries are staring at you when you order by the order at the counter. You will need strong will power or else you will be seduced. Service was prompt. The crepe is literally drowning and undercooked. Not just "Crave" by any means but when I ordered their honey and walnut crepe, what I rcvd' was a ton of melted chocolate (didn't order that fyi) with entire WHOLE walnuts all over the place- and somewhere underneath that.... was a very exhausted, malnutrition, ignored and over looked Crepe' that never stood a chance. The latte was GOOD though! 2 "crepes" and a latte = $47.00 US Dollars. Now I feel like the crepe: very exhausted, malnutrition, ignored and over looked. I frequent here morning, afternoon, nite & late nite whether to study or to gather with friends, this place is always a staple for me every week. Something notable is that the staff is always so polite & friendly, which makes me think management is effectively equal. Happy staff = happy customers. This was my first trip to Crave cafe in probably ten years and it was similar to how I remembered it, just a tad bit more expensive but I'll blame that on inflation. All of their crepes are about $14-$17. I like that they have other things on the menu such as breakfast burritos, pizza, sushi, and more. Definitely a lot of things on the menu to choose from. The ambiance is nice with having both indoor and outdoor seating options. They tend to get very busy and only have one person at the counter so the service can be a bit slow. They do have a sign listed that you'll be waiting about 20 minutes for food on their busier days, so plan ahead for that. Located on the corner of Ventura Blvd & Van Nuys. Street metered parking.
