    a variety of ice creams
    Paige G.

We went here in a Saturday night for the first time. I love supporting local creameries and it's really nice to find one open in the winter. This is located in a little strip mall among a few other restaurants. We walked inside and noticed a long line but didn't think anything of it. We ended up waiting over 35 minutes in line! I've never seen an ice cream store so slow. It was painful. 2 staff members are certainly not enough for the volume this place experiences. Making a sundae takes a lot of time and one person in front of us ordered 5 to go! We were getting really agitated. I don't like wasting time. The ice cream is really good and thankfully so since we had to wait so long for it. People in front of us wouldn't move along as the line kept going which made it hard to see all the ice cream flavors since they aren't posted on the wall. They also have gelato, milkshakes, bubble tea and even donuts. I thought the charge for different types of cones was expensive and overpriced. In the end I opted for the chocolate peanut butter and a scoop of the sweet cream with caramel and pretzels. The pretzels tasted stale and this flavor was a bit too sweet. The chocolate peanut butter was delicious. My friend had the cherry and was really good. Nice ice cream flavors but definitely don't want to wait that long for ice cream again.

I have never seen this spot before even though it's so close by because I don't come this way. But when I saw homemade ice cream, I knew I had to stop by. My friend and I both got two scoops (cow) of ice cream, though they also have gelato and sorbet. He got chocolate and I got white raspberry + lemon. The ice cream was absolutely delicious. The employee working the front was super kind and chatty. She clearly explained what was available and welcome me to test flavors (including the two I got plus the "heaven" flavor). It was also quite a lot of ice cream for a reasonable price. The place was pretty empty in the evening on the week day, but had some nice decorations. I'm going to consider this a hidden gem for now on. I must have missed it because I tend to look for ice cream as a late night treat, and the place closes at 9 pm.

Brownie batter with brownie bites on the bottom. I forgot the flavor on top...I believe it had Oreo and caramel in it

Crave creamery is my favorite ice cream shop in the Philly area! It has a wide selection of flavors and carries both gelato and ice cream. I've never had the gelato before because the ice cream is so good and I can never pass it up, but I'm sure the gelato would be delicious as well. They have great flavors and the ice cream is super creamy. They also have an assortment of fun cones. I got one with m&ms and it was okay. I would recommend going for the ice cream and trying one of their fun cones if you're interested, but pass on them otherwise.

Yes! Just back from Italy, craving excellent gelato so trying all the Philly places. This place hit the spot. Right on Baltimore Pike (off 476). Lots of parking. Small place that makes their own ice cream and gelato. Tried salted caramel and banana dulce de leche. Wow. Super smooth and creamy. As it should be! Perfect.

Party Cake icecream. Look at those big pieces of cake!! Mmm

Great ice cream. They need better signage in Springfield so everybody can see their store!

It appears on first glance when going inside that it used to be some other place but I am not sure what, and when we were there it seemed that it was empty. Like devoid of people whatsoever. There was our server, and I'm not sure if someone was even in the kitchen, but there had to be because our order was being prepared by someone. This is actually good, because that morning was a dragging one and having it nice and quiet with almost not distraction was absolutely wonderful! What I like about B&B is also what kind of sets it back just a bit, but I think this place is on the rise, and as it gains popularity, this will start to be talked about around southeast Delco and definitely and up a go-to spot. There are complaints in some of the reviews here that the food is "underseasoned" which is something that I would like to argue wholeheartedly. Breakfast is very subjective; especially standard American breakfast staples like omelets, eggs and bacon platters, waffles. However, that is where the underuse of season here is actually a smart strategy. Most of these dishes would be seasoned with salt, pepper, or by some, butter or hot sauce. All these items are readily available and placed on the table in food quantity so that the diner can easily bring their meal to the exact taste that they enjoy. In doing this thought, nothing really shines here. It is all very good, but nothing it really unique. And that is good thing especially when you are looking for a place to enjoy breakfast that's a down-home style meal and you don't want to have to cook. I will definitely be back again for another homestyle breakfast in the future, and the prices are more than reasonable. If you live in the area this is a great place to frequent for a breakfast you would make yourself or would expect to have if you stopped home for the day. Check it out when you want to feed that need.

Literally every bite got better from one to another. My son got a cookie monster gelato which he didn't even want to share because it was so good. I got a coffee flavored one which was divine! My husband got coffee and these fancy cookies which I was suspicious about.....why? Because the flavor on one was like parmesean cheese and caramel and I really did not think it was going to work and it was the best thing I had! On top of the shop being incredibly beautiful, if you have little ones they have a play ice cream set and dinosaurs in the store to entertain them while you sip your coffee or enjoy a treat. I absolutely adore a place that think of kids that way. Go check them out!
