I went to Cravings for the first time with my friends for lunch and we all ordered a Taylor Egg Ham and Cheese and my card was declined. The man working told me I can come back and pay with a different card another day and he would still make a me a sandwich but I told him it was fine and that I didn't need to have one. So when he brought my friends sandwich's to the table he made me one too and told me it was on him. I haven't experienced that type of customer services anywhere around here not to mention it was delicious! read more

This is the ONLY good bagel shop in town (they bring the bagels in from NYC and make delicious sandwiches), but bagels aren't the only thing Cravings excels in. The owner spent many years in Nola & makes a killer muffuletta. There's also a huge selection of candy, wine, beer and ice cream! Very solid spot. I grew up in the Northeast so I know a good bacon egg and cheese. The jalapeño infused bacon is genius and delicious. My only beef is that they put one singular strip of bacon on the bacon egg and cheese. For $7 i would love a little more. Other than that though, 11/10. read more

It gave me the Fremont Seattle vibes when I began this so called tour for my type of beer. A lot of specialty beer, treats, and wine. And it was pretty chill, walked on in, browsed the selection of beer and what I loved looking at, the packaging of the beverages. Used to love coming here a few times a week but the last experience was so poor that I probably won't be returning anytime soon. Came in from the rain an hour before closing and the guy working rudely explains I can only get items from the deli. If you're going to limit your menu that early at least advertise it so people don't walk across town in the rain expecting your advertised menu. One of the most underrated places in Tuscaloosa. We got the Steak, Egg, and Cheese bagel, the Lox bagel, the BLT (get it on an everything bagel!) along with the White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake and the Mac and Cheese. All of them were above and beyond any expectations and the beer and wine selections were vast. We were recommended the Kopparberg Cider and it tastes just like an adult Caprisun. This was the 2nd time we've eaten here. The first time was really good! The pizza is delicious and we keep talking about it every time we even bring up pizza! However the second time, we went during lunch where we were on an hour crunch. We were told 20-30 min wait on food, and were totally ok with it. We ended up waiting for 45 mins and only had 10 mins to eat before having to leave to go back to work. The muffuletta was not what my husband expected. It was cold, and very bread-y, if that's a word. I think he was expecting something maybe toasted or at least heated and he was definitely upset that he had to wait 45 mins on something that was unwrapped and put on a plate. I had the calzone which was really good but again, not worth a 45 minute wait. I understand the uniqueness of the place and that there's usually only one man cooking, so I expected a little wait time, it just wasn't fun to have to be rushed on lunch with my husband. All in all, pretty decent pizzas and calzones, however the sandwiches are subpar. Also, don't come if you're on lunch! Wait and go when you get off work so you can really enjoy the place and get to look at all the vintage and unique candies and drinks they have! read more

This place is as good as it gets! The entire menu is amazing! I have not tried anything that wasn't fantastic. The ingredients are fresh, some of which are even growing right out front and the staff is extremely friendly. 300 different beers, 150 wines/champagnes, and any candy you could imagine just top off what makes this place great! Stop by and enjoy the weather while sitting on the patio, or eat inside and enjoy a game on one of the many 60 inch high def tv's! I highly recommend any of the real New York bagels or anything off the true authentic New Orleans side of the menu. This place is amazing. Has a great selection of beers and wine. My favorite is the food though. I have had the bagel sandwich and it is to die for. They load up the turkey and add avocado and cheese!
