We stayed in a single king room and were pleasantly surprised with how much space we had, it didn't feel cramped even with all the toddler gear. Both the hotel and the waterpark were consistently clean throughout our stay. For a high traffic family resort this was impressive and much appreciated. The wave pool and dedicated toddler area were a huge hit. Our little dude had a blast and it was great to have a safe, age appropriate space for him to explore. The lodge is due for some updates, specifically the waterpark equipment - the water jet skis in the toddler area were all broken and material was visibly chipping. While my toddler didn't notice the cosmetic wear, as a parent it is a little worrisome. I'd say visiting in the winter was the perfect way to beat the cold, though it did limit us to indoor sections. We're definitely curious to return when it's warmer to see how the outdoor area fairs. Overall a great choice for families with toddlers, but hopefully, management will invest in some much needed repairs to the play features soon!

UNLESS you're after the basketball courts or indoor soccer field, those seem to always be either booked out or tough to get time on. The classes are a good. The staff is amazing. And the amenities are top-notch. Some classes you have to pay for, and the prices for those are beyond steep. Just insane, really, but it is hard to be so upset about that when even the stuff that comes with the low membership level is hands down better than anything in the area.

They do have lifeguards on duty, a separate area for adults to swim, a kiddie pool for the younger kids, rides and a hot tub (I mean because Wisconsin doesn't get hot enough for some of us). I would definitely recommend if you're looking for something for the kids to do during the summer. There is only one stall in the female restroom and I am hoping they would fix that because it's really annoying to wait to use the restroom when you have younger children with you.

We had to walk almost 10mins just to get to the door. Once inside, the lockers were easy to navigate and for $15 (small one) it wasn't overly bad. The wave pool wasn't too bad. The waves came crashing for 5mins probably and it was a lot of fun. The only thing that I didn't like was how hot the water became later in the afternoon. It just made it less enjoyable when it is 95 degrees outside. The lazy river seems shorter than I remembered. It was okay, but definitely not too deep because I found myself scraping up against the floor. They do have a lot of water slides, which is nice because there is a nice variety for everyone. They even have a little tadpole section for younger children that may not want to do waterslides but can still play with the water and a shorter slide. The food was outlandishly priced, but I guess that's too be expected (kind of). Paying $12 for a regular funnel cake, $8 for a pineapple soft serve, and almost $5 for a bottle water was kinda crazy. The tickets getting in are already expensive plus $15 for the locker and $25 for general parking that spending that much more on food is just a bit much. Lastly, you can tell the water park is a bit dated since they made limited updates since I've been here as a teen.

Lady yelled at us because we misunderstood that the fun passes didn't get you unlimited credits, only other things. Another woman yelled at us in one of the candy cabins for being by the toppings, while we were getting froyo..? Disclaimer, I've never been here, so I had no idea where the water slides were, and I did not have a map. So i obviously asked the WATERPARK staff where the slides were, they looked at me like I was crazy and said "in the water parks.?" I felt embarrassed so I thanked them and left. Eventually found the slides but still, quite rude and unfair. Waterslides were very fun though! Loved going down them, especially the hurricane/funnel one. Not a lot of seating though, and very bad security or service. We had towels stolen and I even caught a family trying to steal me and my friends towels and phones while we were swimming, thankfully my stomach hurt so I caught them and nothing major was taken.
