They got it scheduled and said the technician would call me once he assessed the vent. To my surprise, the technician reported that the vent was already really clean and told me it wasn't necessary. The work that was done recently was 100% better than the first time. We were informed that they had had issues with the crew who did the work the first time and were dealt with. They fixed the work free of charge and the crew that was here did a good job and was very nice throughout the process. I appreciate that the owner took our position into consideration and did the right thing. As a business owner he could have taken advantage of us like some business owners have done us in the past because we are a younger couple but he was nice enough to want his work to be done correctly.
