We got there at noon ish and the crafts that y'all had out? It was out!! Instead of us catching one of y'all in yellow? Just have your crew restock every hour! Be on top of that! Organized for one! Also at the snack shake! Put a sign up when you are out of more than 1 sodas in your foundation! I was so disappointed! Y'all was out of 3 sodas so we got water instead! We took our 3 year old son to the Crayola Experience today and had a fantastic time. It was age appropriate and kept him entertained for a solid 2 1/2 hours. After we gave the admissions person collecting tickets our passes, we were each provided a clear bag with 2 tokens. We proceeded up the elevators and was greeted with an area where you can make labels for your crayons. Each label required a token. After leaving that area, we were entertained by multiple stations and a playing area. There was also a mini show (15 minutes long) that explained how crayons are made, I was surprised my son sat still for that long. Overall, my little one enjoyed himself during our visit and he had a few souvenirs to take home. The staff were all pleasant and attentive. We enjoyed this place so much that we are planning to go to the one in Pennsylvania. read more

Waited 10 min for the movie to start. No one walked in to even tell us it was broken. One of the other patrons had to go ask and he notified us. The thing you get to color they make it sound like is a normal sized stuffed toy. It's not. It's a very small odd unicorn looking thing barely big enough to color. The printers for half of the print section was broken as well. The playground is small but nice and the create your label for a crayon is as described or else I would have given one star. If you live here or near here. Get the annual membership its only abit more. Many things for the kiddos to do. You could easly spend half a day here with your kids. Lots of crafty things to do and they also have a play area for toddlers and a separate play area for older kids. They have a large cafeteria area but the food is only ok and not much to choose from. We came here with a friend who received complimentary tickets during a Photos with Santa event in 2018. She took us a week before they expired. This place is in the Florida Mall. Make sure you drive around to the parking lot in front of Crayola Experience, otherwise you'll walk a bit of a distance twisting and turning through the mall. Once you are up the stairs, the whole second floor is filled with activities to do. A DJ with a dance floor and cool kaleidoscope pictures on a screen, crayon melting stations, crayon making stations, play structures (one for younger and one for 4-5 and up), demonstrations and arcade games. Please know that there is loud music, flashing lights and candy all over this place (in case your child has any sensitivities. Allow for at least a couple of hours to enjoy the different stations. Gets busy on the weekends. I hear a membership is a much cheaper way to enjoy over an extended period of time. read more

The grandkids decided that the high on Saturday would only be in the 60s, so Disney was out. We went to crayola experience. J and JPA had their yearly passes. MeMaw and T had to wait in line. Not to long and we are off to make a crayon. In your packet at check in gives you coins to use. We each made 1 and headed to the spin art and making a shape out of crayons. I made a shark and J made a ring. Then we went to the drawing a dragon, princess, lighting bugs, etc. Color it, then put it on the computer and send a copy to your email address. Then we went to make a cake with the playdough, we have been watching Nailed it on Netflix and J decided to try it. Then he went to play on the play ground. My friends were in town with their 2 and 5 year old, as was I, so we decided to come here as an alternative to the sun and large theme parks. What a great find!! Look online for $5 off coupons, but they offer free admission to many "community workers" like teachers (didn't need to show your ID), EMTs, etc. and if it's within a week of your birthday! The $18 admission we paid was well worth it!! There are oodles of exhibits for kids of all ages (probably up to 12). Our little friends loved naming their own crayons, the green screen stuff, the climbing activities, and the various art projects that were sprinkled around the exhibits. We spent about 2 hours there before the kids were tired and we felt like we had done enough. Although they push you towards exiting through the gift shop, if you Make a u-turn, you can skip it and exit on your left (hate being forced to either buy something or say "no" to tired kids!). The gift shop does offer choose-your-own crayons for 25 cents each, so don't buy a tin for $17! All-in-all, this was a great day and a super fun stop on our vacation!! read more

We had a lot of fun here with my toddler. Check out the admission specials they have going on each month. Usually first responders (EMS, firefighters, police) get free admission. I had no idea what to expect, but I'm glad we checked it out. The playgrounds are closed right now due to Covid, which is understandable. Our 4 year old loved it. You would think the hands on nature of the place would be a nightmare, but the employees were on top of every aspect of cleaning. Stations were spaced out and completely cleaned between guests. Even the art supplies were cleaned between guests. Each guest gets their own bag with a box of crayons, a voucher for a scribble pet, chalk, and tokens (for use at the name a crayon station and model magic station). Fun for the kids and we went early to avoid the crowds but the employees all look like they don't want to be there, specifically Adaly at the counter where you do the wax hands. Hanging her head on the computer while I was placing an order as if I interrupted her and her co workers gossip session, very unprofessional. If you do not like your job then change it , it's very disheartening to go to place where I spent money for my kids to have a good time and then have to deal with employees who look as if you ruined their day by asking a question. My son who just turned 6 , still likes to say he's 5 because he doesn't want to grow up, which is the age for the wax hands, well When Adaly heard this she grabbed a pitcher of ice poured it into the water and told him to keep his hand in for 20 seconds, obviously he wasn't going to be able to do that because not even I nor her would be able to leave our hands in after dumping a bucket full of ice . After that my son did not want to participate in the wax hand because his hand was burning from having ice poured on to it. This was so disgusting to see an employee do, if I had known I would be treated this way I would have remembered to bring in his birth certificate next time. Staff were great, all stations very fun, small but lots to do. Spent 5hrs here to do everything. Custom crayons means you pick the fixed colors they have but can add whatever saying or name you want on a piece of paper. It does not mean you can make a custom color to my disappointment. But it makes lines go faster and you can be an adult or a kid and thoroughly enjoy this place. Coloring truly is therapeutic. Pass on the candy store. My family and I recently went with 5 children ranging in age from 2-11. We had a great time. We spent about 5 hours and visited all the stations. We came home with a bag full of projects. Drip art, coloring sheets, activities, melting projects, a few crayons, water color projects and model magic clay. We went on a Monday around 1pm. Lines were short and plenty of stations available to work at. My personal favorite was the wrap it up station where you pick a color crayon, name it and wrap the label on it. I made a crayon for each member of my family with our name on it and plan to put them in a cute little shadow box. Very short staffed, probably from that rona, well that and our brilliant government paying unskilled workers more to say home than there unskilled jobs pay. Needs TLC. MY daughter is 5 and we got her in free because of her birthday. She said she had a great time but in adult eyes there were several opportunities for improvement. First is cleanliness. The bathroom was clean and I saw people sweeping but there was no sanitizer in the stations and exhibits looked dusty and dingy. They provide tokens to make crayons or get molding clay but most of the machines were broken so your tokens are eaten and then you're left exchanging dollars for more tokens after you find a machine that finally works. The two crafts you have to que for took forever. We waited 30-40 minutes to melt a crayon. There were not enough attendants for these. Overall the place just really needed updates. It was oddly dark inside and so many things were broken. I would go again because my daughter enjoyed it but it would be ideal if the management put in a little TLC. read more

The Crayola Factory is ok but hasn't really changed much in 3 years. If anything it seems to have less cool things then before. Example the drip art had way more colors and not a heat pen that barely works with three color stations. My 11 year old daughter got bored too easily "I've done this before" and my just turned 6 yr old was too impatient and not able to do fully enjoy all the sections because you had to stop read the instructions. 8-9 best age I would guess. The paint, color, work areas seemed a little short on supplies. This was disappointing that Crayola seemed short on crayons and water color paints. Also seemed understaffed for a busy but not packed weekday. Went on a Monday late morning. Took 3 hours with eating lunch there. Not going back unless there is refresh. I took my 3 kids for a short visit. I wasn't super impressed but my kids loved it and want to return. Seeing how happy they were in the activities made it all worth it. The staff was awesome until we got to the store at the exit. Because we don't live in the area and I didn't know when we would return. Also we had a tie Dye spirit day coming up. So we picked out about 4 of everything. So I get in line to pay. The line was long so when we finally get to the register, I put all the items on the counter. The cashier gets to $130 stops scanning and says "so you are at $130 already". I pause look at her and nod. She starts back scanning items. I then ask her "what made you say that?" She starts stuttering and says "oh sometimes parents don't know the prices so I warn them". I advise her that all the items have prices and I put them all on the counter personally. We're having a great time and I'm looking forward to taking my daughter back during these hot summer days. There is lots of helpful staff and it doesn't feel crowded even though there's lots of kids. The crayola experience is fun, I wouldnt really suggest a annual pass but if you are in the area I can easily imagine spending a very decent amount of time here. This is a kid friendly place with a live showing of how crayons are made. Clean bathrooms and semi helpful but plentiful staff as well as a food area. I would recommend this most definitely if you have kids around 5 and 6 due to some of the areas were definitely for kids a tad older. Untimately it's a good time. You get tokens that can be used for crayons or playdoh. You get a red crayon at the end of the making a crayon presentation. You can take silly pictures and make them into coloring pages. Color pages and put them into a computer and watch them come to life. Melt down crayons and make one of your own. Do spin art and crayon painting. There's a little arcade area that will cost some money. There is a electronic free game area that has puzzles for kids and adults to try which was pretty interesting. The other 3 areas I don't know much about because my kids are too young but just know the place is worth the money and you can definitely get a full day out of it if you do everything. read more

So their February special is ice cream, but yet they ran out of ice cream. The station where you melt crayons into shapes, there is 4 stations for each for designs. This was one of the highlights of our Florida vacay for my three year old. First off she is a fan of colouring and drawing anyway so this place really blew her mind. The system to get in is easy and you get a little membership card. If you visit twice the card has paid for itself. Plus she really loved her little card too. Fist off make your own crayon. You design and name the crayon wrapper, choose the colour and then put it together and go forth into Crayola Experience with your personalized crayon. This place had so much we couldn't see it all. From starring in your own colouring sheet, play area you could colour while in it on white boards and chalk boards, to bringing your creating to life via magnets and image projection. There were areas for painting, climbing, working on paper, on tablets, on computers, on walls. Our first time at Crayola was on a Friday morning. Because of that the place wasn't too crowded, which I heard can make or break your experience here. The day we went we didn't have to wait for any of the activities and were there right when it opened. With our $10 group admission price (even adults pay) we got two tokens each. Most of the activities are free, you only need the token to make your own crayon covering or to buy molding clay/foam or crayons/markers. We spent a few hours trying out the various activities with my 3yo and 8yo. Because of their age difference they each enjoyed different activities. My older one loved making his drawing come to life, both the race car/model and coloring pages. You are able to take a screen shot and e-mail it to yourself which is fun! My little one enjoyed dipping a stick into the melted crayons. Both of them LOVED the play structure. The playground was their favorite thing out off any of it! This multistory structure is mostly enclosed so they can't escape but through one entrance/exit. Plenty of benches around for parents to take a load off while the kids run around. With a break for lunch we spent about 5 hours here and felt like we'd done it all (they would stay on the playground all day). There is a cafe with over priced, low quality food. The kids got hot dog kids meals which came with chips and a drink for $5.50. My chicken salad brought the total to $28! Yikes! You can bring food from home which may be the better option if you don't mind carrying it around. Or better yet, bring snack then eat somewhere else entirely! read more

Great experience and the perfect rainy day activity for kids. I have two boys, 5 years old and 2.5 years old and I was hesitant to go because one likes t color and the other does not. My 2 year old got in free as well as me because my birthday was within 7 days of us going, score! Paid roughly $25 for the three of us and we were there for 3 hours!! I liked that there were activities to do other than coloring to include two jungle gym areas and a ball play machine. We each got two tokens to use at different stations. Not every station required tokens and additional could be purchased. We went on a weekday when it opened and maybe 20 of us were there.
