When I got home from my business trip, I noticed that they charged my $5 than what I had paid. I called asking for the manager, who is Jorge. He confirmed that there was a $5 tip added to my charge that was not on my receipt. Funny thing was, the name of the guy who took my order and and the name on my receipt was Jorge... Management is involved in the FRAUD! They did however, refund my $5 by check a week later. If you go, compare your bank statements with your receipts. Also, The food quality was sub-par. read more

I really wanted a change from hotel food and walked outside a and saw Crazy Atlanta. All right I'm game for an experience. The interior had picnic benches, was clean and had upbeat music. The guy at the register (this is an order and they'll bring it to you place) had suggestions, knowledge of the menu and super friendly. So, food came pretty quick. Hot (not spicy unless you want it that way) and tasty. Now for the food. The salad I thought would be an immediate throw away but with the cheese and chips on top it was much better than expected. It was slightly overdressed. The nachos had fresh chips and good flavors. The star for me was the chicken quesadilla and the side of fries (crispy goodness). The guacamole on the quesadilla was good. This is a really nice spot to eat, atmosphere is amazing. They've got a stage setup for live music I'm assuming, and very cool art decorations. I ordered a steak taco and a chicken burrito which were both very delicious! The steak was very flavorful and tender and they had some sort of spicy sauce in there that I thought brought all the flavors together quite nicely. The chicken burrito was awesome, good lettuce and pico de gallo to Chicken ratio! Def have to visit if you're ever in Downtown Atlanta! read more

Crazy Atlanta is easy to fin located in Downtown ATL. Food is amazing, fun, and totally unexpexted recipies. I tried the fried goat cheese balls resting over a guava carmelize salad of onions and cilantro. The guacamole is chucky and fresh. Snimple perfect. Wings are spot on. I strongly suggest switching fries for the crazy patatas. 2 bucks more and totally worth it.. although the salmon in on the appitizers. Its more finning of and entree. The sautees salmon filet is grilled to perfection rest over chesy potoatoes with a spicy sweet peach chimichuri salsa. I sat at the bar with Jorge who was great. read more

We chose this because it was right across the street from our hotel and needed a quick bite for lunch. I got the Chicken Taco Salad and my friend got the Corned Beef Sandwich. My taco salad was a bowl of ice burg lettuce with a few raw veggies and some dry grilled chicken. The ranch dressing on the side was good though. I also asked for a side of salsa, they advertise "homemade salsa" on the menu and was brought a tiny cup of wing sauce and charged for it too. My friend said the Reuben was good but greasy. About an hour later, both of us had upset stomachs. I would say either order something else or keep looking. read more

Across from the Sheraton, Crazy Atlanta looked kind of abandoned on the outside.... once inside the walls were covered with graffiti (I'm guessing from other patrons) but it went with the vibe. It looked like they may have live music or karaoke. The food was great, we ordered chicken quesadillas (wish it came with fries), the medium wings were spicy but good, the mexican rice was well seasoned, fries were... fries and the teriyaki wings had the prefect balance of sweet and salty. This place is definitely a dive - walls covered with sharpie messages from guests, crap seats/tables, all around kind of a dump. They charge $3-$4 for a bottle of water, which may be part of why they don't have any customers. We shared an appetizer, shared an entree, and each had 1 non-alcoholic beverage and the bill was $36. In a dive bar!! Yikes. With that being said - the food was really good. We got the chicken fajitas and they were great. But all in all, won't repeat. read more

Pretty nice place, good service and good food. I had a beef burger with with everything and my friend got the bbq chicken wings and we were both very satisfied. The burger was muh bigger than I expected, juicy, and tasted fresh. The fries could have been crispier but the seasoning on them is awesome. I tried one of my friend's bbq wings and I was pretty amazed; it tastes almost like they rotisserie cook the chicken and then bake them in the sauce and let me tell you that thats an amazing idea. This place was definitely not what we were expecting - It's very informal, and usually they don't serve you (so I'm told) - but since we had a big group, they came and took our orders at the table. The service was extremely slow and they missed out on a few of our orders. The burrito bowl I got was good but nothing special. This is four stars somehow? Here's the benefits: -in downtown Atlanta -cool decor -decent prices (but that's all of Atlanta) So what's the problem? Terrible food! It's like they took 85% of a cool west coast bar, but hired your middle school cafeteria chef to do their food. We had chicken wings (worse than frozen), goat cheese (actually awesome), burrito (super disappointing), the pizza (good, though not your typical pizza), and the nachos (pretty good, tho nothing to write home about). So the food is just super hit or miss. You can have a good time, but you'd better get lucky. At least the drinks were pretty good too. But served in plastic glasses???? Gross. And the dj was a bit too loud. Beef up the food quality and this will be a solid place. But it's not even really open late on weekdays!! I called back to let them know I think they gave me the wrong thing to be told that is the chicken burger. but the menu says patty of ground chicken with cheese. I told them they need to reword the menu if they think that is a chicken burger. So if you want a real chicken burger do not go there. read more

A friend brought me here to try the drinks. It was so good, I came back the very next day! The bartender is awesome and the food good as well. So far I've tasted the empanadas, shrimp tacos, and nachos. The guacamole is fresh. Good food, good drinks, good prices! read more

Love this place!!!!! The owner is great, and so is the food. I come to Atlanta every year for a huge (60K+) convention and this is one of the spots that does NOT raise his prices or lower standards during the festivities. I am the organizer of a late night Q & A session that passes the hat for pizza and beer. All I can say is the pizza is the best we have had in over 10 years of doing this! The only suggestion I have is that when ordering 15+ extra large pizzas, order well in advance. This is not a chain with a 10 minute pizza oven. We will be ordering again next year for sure. First off, I live in Atlanta, and after time, you realize to appreciate the city, and find a new "love" or "hobby" to explore the new restaurants, unique for that new experience you capture with friends...I've been to Crazy Atlanta a few times, and as a new reviewer on yelp would love to express my appreciation for small business owners that I truly feel will make an impact in the near future to make this city beyond an experience to capture for all travelers. I believe Atlanta restaurants are striving to be unique, but I find are all similar in the vast struggle on the service industry business.... What I find incredible about my few visits to Crazy Atlanta, is the passion and heart from the employees that love Atlanta and have true heart in what I felt, was my best experience in any food service establishment thus far. Beyond the positive energy I have received at entry, the food is beyond spectacular every time. What visitors may think are just "cooks", I found are true experienced chefs that provide specific and quality work into all menu items, all house-made recipes and unbelievably satisfying. The food is tasty and the staff is friendly! Prices are very reasonable. I was at a 3 day convention at the hotel across the street. I stopped in for food day 1 because it was close & convenient. I went back the remaining 2 days because it was delicious! I think they must have have a highly skilled chef in the kitchen. But, everytime I ordered to go, my order was wrong. Other items: GYRO PLATE - The supposed lamb was not fresh & like low quality frozen mystery meat. I like the pita and salad but I wouldn't order this again. FISH TACOS-ok. Staying at the aLoft downtown and came across the Crazy Atlanta menu, offering "in room dining". Now let me say I would not consider takeout in styrofoam with plastic silverware to be "room service"... But the hotel doesn't offer room service and this seemed convenient. To be honest I wasn't expecting much and I was delightfully surprised with the food. The menu is limited compared to the restaurant and they state at least a 45 minute delivery time. My food came within 30 minutes (on a Friday night) and was hot. I ordered the shrimp quesadilla, chips and queso, and a slice of tres leche cake. Quesadilla was good, and so was the small portion of guacamole that accompanied it. Skip the chips and queso! The chips were nice and fresh, but the cheese dip was like something you would get at a movie theatre. I can say, for $6 it was a very generous portion- so maybe if you are into that kind of thing, go for it! The tres leche cake was just ok, a little dry so maybe more like a dos leches. The slice was small so don't plan on sharing. The menu also states that gratuity is not included. When the guy came to the door and I inspected the receipt, it is infact included. First timer, and had the fish tacos with Tres Leches Cake. First off they are very slow so don't bother if you are in a hurry. Pretty cool dining area with the walls all marked up by patrons. There is a small outdoor patio and a place for live music or a DJ. Food was solid 3 star. Again it took me about 35 min to receive my small to go order and the restaurant was at 20% capacity at most. read more

This place was not good. The staff was rather nice and as my coworker said "The food wasn't awful but it wasn't good" I have no idea how this place got 4 stars from anyone. I had the chicken taco salad but it was def not worth the $9.95 price tag the menu had set (order it and you'll see what I'm talking about). Their drinks are way over priced. If i could give them zero stars I would I ordered grilled chicken skewers with garlic ginger sauce for 8.59 it comes and it's not even a meal its snack size. To add on to the fact that I was starving they decided to add the tip on to the check. we then had to fight to get it removed. The place is a total dump in the middle of an otherwise nice area of Atlanta. It sits in the middle of higher-end hotels, all of which are stuck listening to their terrible music for hours.
