    2 chicken sliders

Not bad for what it is and doesn't take too long. Just not for me. Tenders had a thick shell-like crust. Spice was added through powder they shook on top, gave an almost Cajun seasoning taste. Normally hate coleslaw but this was good for coleslaw, came with a pickle and a soft yellow bun. The following are pretty standard things that just aren't to my preference: I didn't really like how my tender dripped some oil that didn't really taste fresh and the chicken was just barely fully cooked so the texture was still a little "loose." I got "hot" and it was a bit spicy. Nothing crazy and more flavorful than Canes.

This place was confusing. The chicken tender and piece in burger had a strange outside shape but inside tastes good. The smash burger was a bit sad, tasted meh. Food was fresh, fries were crispy. Staff was nice and friendly but food didnt hit as good as like daves hot chicken.

Ordered the sliders. It was ok. I Wish there was more slaw & sauce. I had to cut my slider & use a knife & fork. The bun was good. The crazy fries is good. Staff are ok. It wasn't too busy but took a little to get my order. There's outside seating & seating indoors.

Come here you have to try the oversized chicken breast deep fried with your choice of Mild, spicy or fire spicy powder. The chicken breast is halal and it's never Frozen and they do deep fry and me to order for sure. . I also really like there crinkle cut fries it is always the best kind of fries that I can say when I go to a restaurant. . Also don't forget to try their pink sauce which is a really great sauce to dip in everything. They also have your classic Smashburger which is really good and I like it without the sauce. . The service here is friendly and Ambience is casual and has a really big space for you to sit and enjoy and catch up with your friends. The location of the spot is in the hot spot where Temple coffee and a really good boba shop is all right next door. . Overall if you like spicy and you like your deep fried chicken and you like Halal chicken this is the spot to go to. Hope this helps and things for reading and have a yelptastic day.

Order them Doordash. Not the biggest fan of their mac and cheese flavoring and also their "half-and-half" is a bit misleading. I was craving some fries so I got an order of their loaded fries with the spicy chicken. However, I also decided to try their mac-and-cheese so decided to pay the extra $1 for the half-and-half. Unfortunately, their "half-and-half "was about 75% mac... fry craving not satisfied :( Additionally, the mac was just really wet and pretty flavorless. There was obviously the cheese taste but it could have done with a little bit of salt. The fries were good though! They were nice and crispy and went well with the chicken. The chicken itself is seasoned pretty well but I would recommend picking one of the hotter spice levels (for this order in particular). The mac and cheese dilutes the flavor like crazy so you'll need something more flavorful to help elevate it. In the future, WOULD NOT order the mac and cheese. Might order again to try their tenders or just the fries though.

My friend was throwing up at the restroom after eating the chicken

TERRIBLE FOOD worst chicken of my life. would rather starve than eat here again. No flavor but spice and was super dry. it also tastes like it has been frozen for awhile before being served.

Was looking forwards to a new chicken place in Davis, but it ended up being a disappointment. The chicken pieces were dry and unappetizing, and the "spice" level was just determined by how much the chicken was doused in cayenne pepper. The staff also were not particularly friendly.

The chicken pieces are huge, fries are fresh and crispy, and the bread that comes with the tender has a good butter flavor.

One of the ladies here always smiles and is very patient with customers! She even made sure my fries were still warm when I came back to pick them up after placing an order! The place itself isn't bad as there's places to sit and study. I will say that after it's busy you need to wait a bit for tables to be cleaned otherwise it's a bit oily after others use it. But other than that, the place is pretty nice. To the owner: please add a trashcan for people to place their trash. It would honestly keep the place cleaner and I can see how it can help staff. For those who come, if you don't want to leave your trash on a table, I typically take it outside on my own and toss it in a trashcan outside. (It's quite inconvenient though)

The price was decent for this combo and a total of eight wings. The service was also quick and the wings were made fresh. The fries were crunchy and had good seasoning. My personal favorite were the Lemon Pepper wings, and I loved the salty-citrus kick and it was overall well-seasoned. The Garlic Parmesan wings were also delicious, butter and savory.

We had the seafood tofu hotpot, shrimp wonton, garlic green bean, mongolian beef, half hainan chicken, and ny steak spaghetti to-go. Was a little busy at 7 on a holiday so we waited like ten minutes to get our order in, the guy memorized our order right as I said it lol. He confirmed and we got our soup in ten mins, ten mins for green beans and mongolian beef, another ten minutes for our chicken, then like seven for hotpot. Most disappointing was chicken, it's not hainan at all and just standard hong kong white chicken. Taste is fine and fresh but was sad. Best was the seafood hotpot AND the wonton soup. Both had great flavor and saltiness and was just sooo good. Wontons were very tasty and had a lot of meat, definitely both pork and shrimp, and soup even had little shrimp in it ifkyk. The seafood hotpot had great variety and flavor, my parents were pleased with the fish bits in it, the tofu was yummy bc it's fried tofu, the crab texture was not great maybe overcooked and I didn't like the soft cucumber but otherwise the broccoli scallop shrimp tofu fish bok choy was all great. Green beans and mongolian beef SERIOUSLY needed some wok flavor and wish the beef had black pepper because the seasoning was a bit lacking (wok flavor would be great here) and overall the vegetables were a little undercooked. They were addictive though I definitely kept going back for more. Hot tea is jasmine tea. Service was a bit lackluster but totally understandable and even though I was in a rush we were in and out by an hour and like ten minutes which worked. Ambiance wise, I didn't like how the lights are half brighter and whiter than the sun and half nicely softly lit. Tables are nice wood and a bit sticky but okay. There's random Chinese TV on the walls, very traditional lol and I think no music. Overall very pleased! Will definitely come back as much as possible to support, and highly highly recommend. I went harsh on Tim's because I was expecting perfect dishes, and even though some stuff didn't hit, everything was way beyond average.

Great authentic chinese food!…read more We ordered the original style fried fish and the chef accidentally fried their marinated sliced chicken as it looks similar - we totally get it and we did not mind at all as it was delicious! As soon as the owner realized, she immediately told us she will get us a new one and was very cordial and friendly about it all! In general we feel while both are good, their fried chicken is much more flavorful compared to their fried fish. The space is shared with little gem Belgium waffles, is spacious and very clean. We are looking forward to trying their other food!

Everything here is made in-house, super authentic, and at a great price. It's clean and well-lit inside, and I even got a tour of the kitchen/storage which is well-organized and I saw that everything is made from scratch. I had the xiaolongbao, $9 for 8 pcs which is easily the best price in Davis. There's a good amount of meat inside and the meat is really soft. The chili oil was also great imo, not overpowering like other places and perfectly spicy. Unc Wei has made xiaolongbao for 20 years and is looking for feedback as he wants to make sure the filling suits local tastes. Highly recommend and will be coming back often!

My friends and I made a reservation for Saturday at 7pm, and the restaurant had some patrons but it wasn't too packed. Majority of the tables were booths that would fit 4-6, but if you're there for ayce, I wouldn't suggest more than 4 at each booth since the grills are small. The service team was friendly, but I think they're still working on the most efficient system. The ayce menu had a limited selection (in comparison to other kbbqs) for $32, but there were some highlights that my group enjoyed- salt and pepper wings, scallop and vermicelli, garlic noodles, sesame balls, and cheese corn. The meats were okay, but nothing to write home about. The bulgogi sauces were lighter, so that was nice, but I thought the marinade was off. I requested for the salt and sesame oil sauce, but that didn't taste right either. I hope they consider reworking the sauces and marinades because it would truly enhance the food.

It is AYCE so you can order a few sides, appetizers, and meats with every round. My favorite items that I tried include the salt and pepper chicken wings, garlic noodles corn cheese, bulgogi, pork bulgogi, scallop with vermicelli, and sesame ball. The brisket, galbi, and pork belly were just okay. They have multiple different sauce options, be sure to ask to help flavor your meats. Service was doing the best they could considering they just opened recently. I feel like we had to proactively seek their attention at least a dozen times. For $32 this is a very good value, so I recommend trying it out if you feel like pigging out!
