My first time here and WOW! The chicken was crispy, tender with a large piece of chicken. The breading is light but crispy. The sauce is a secret combo. The fries were good and the bread was good enough to order two. The Cole slaw was solid. The story of how raising canes started is worthy of a read. We will return!

This is my first visit to Raising Canes and I'm pleasantly surprised. This location is clean and I love the decor on the walls. Staff is efficient and helpful. We got a platter to share and the prices are pretty affordable in this economy. The chicken finger is tender on the inside and crunchy on the outside. It's not super seasoned but I guess that's where the sauce comes in. I can see the appeal of the sauce but I love my fried chicken in ketchup so the cane side is kinda wasted on me. But overall decent tenders~ Parking is not the easiest considering it's in downtown. But you can always park a few blocks away~

This has got to be the nicest Raising Canes I have ever been too! Not only is it super clean, but this Canes location is super stylish too! From the big Elvis painting to the fun disco balls hanging from the ceiling...LOVE! Customer service = A+ Food = A+. In fact, we had about a 15 minute drive back, and everything stayed perfectly delish! While this Canes location is kind of a pain to get in and out of because of the location, it is 100% worth it.

3 finger combo (look closely if you want to find the fries)

Raising Canes in Davis had taken a few steps back in recent months. We went in for a sandwich and 3 finger combos to go and were disappointed. Chicken fingers are becoming smaller and smaller, sauce isn't topped off (nor spread well on the sandwich) and what is worst is the amount of fries.... Barely half the reserved space in the to-go box is filled! Canes used to be great, but no longer! Only bright spot is the amicable and professional service!

I always wanted to try Raising Cane and see what the hype was all about. I was visiting Davis and I couldn't wait to stop by this location and give this place a try. The atmosphere was cool and clean. The workers were friendly and the ordering process was straight forward. I ordered the 4 piece chicken tender meal. At first glance the chicken tenders looked very basic so I wasn't expecting much. But I was wrong. The tenders had a nice crunch and they were very moist and flavorful. They were very delicious and not dry. I also enjoyed their special sauce. The sauce complimented the tenders. The Texas toast and fries were good and The coleslaw was just basic. I will definitely visit Raising Cane again, unfortunately I do not have a Raising Cane restaurant in my area.

I went on a Saturday night, so canes was packed with college kids, which is to be expected. There was still adequate seating which was nice. Unfortunately the fries me and my friends ordered were super salty. Every time I go to Canes, I always say that the chicken is lacking in flavor, and as someone who is not a fan of the canes sauce it is very apparent when having the chicken tenders sauceless. I will say that the chicken is very juicy, but still did not satisfy me because of the lack of natural flavor. The staff was super quick and very busy, so I appreciated them getting to everyone's order in a timely manner.

Located next to Philz Coffee, across the street from Insomnia Cookies and El Patio. No drive-thru at this Cane's. Walked in an order, and picked up a 3-finger combo recently with extra Cane's Sauce, and the size of the chicken fingers were really a letdown. The sauce was still great, preferred over ketchup for the crinkle fries, Texas Toast good. No slaw with this combo, as opposed to the Box Combo or Caniac. #shrinkflation Fountain drinks were self-serve, including tea, but lemonades were behind the counter. I ordered to-go, and when they called my name it was just the container and a few napkins on top; I had to ask for a bag and was given a huge paper bag for the one order. Next time I'm craving chicken in Davis, I'll hit up the new Bruxie instead.

Great chicken fingers, Texas toast, fries and their freshly made lemonade. I like their Texas toast best, it's crunchy outside and soft inside. Their home special sauce is awesome too, it's a good dipping sauce for chicken and fries. The interior is really nice and staffs are friendly.

This place is just the right amount of not eating right while feeling k about it. What's healthy about eating a basket of deep fried stuff and veggies drowned in a creamy sauce. Very little if any redemption value in healthy food category and just superbly perfect for a college town haunt. My kid went to Davis...so we gave him a call. Oh yeah...vaguely remembers falling into this place after a night of drinking. That makes perfect sense to enjoy the food while a bit tipsy. Tbh....tenders were juicy; fries were hot and as crisp as any crinkle cut frie will get; soda was cold and bottomless. 4 stars for what it is. Know what you're getting into and be in acceptance.

First time at Raising Cane's, mmkay! We exited Davis on our way to Reno for some quick lunch. As stated, we went at this Raising Cane's to try out their chicken. The restaurant looks as advertised, with the logo punching out from a painted brick wall. Personally, I like it. We chose their chicken finger basket over a sandwich. We got our food fairly quick considering there we a lot of people dining in. Wow, those are pretty good fingers. I recall on a video Raising Cane's marinate their morsels in buttermilk for quite a while. Well it really shows: that's one of the most tender chicken fingers I have ever tasted. The breading and seasoning were proper, and the crinkle cut fries were perfectly cooked as well. Raising Cane's challenging Chick-fil-A? Probably so.

    Chicken sandwich combo only $11.36!

I was impressed during my last visit to Raising Cane's. The food, service, and atmosphere were all good. I stoped by on a Saturday afternoon during a busy lunch rush. There was music playing in the background, so I had a little trouble hearing the cashier when I ordered my chicken sandwich combo. I don't know if it was due to my aging ear drums, the music, or his tone of voice, but it was all good in the end. They got my order right and served my food quickly despite how busy the restaurant was. The first thing I noticed when I got my combo was that the fries were cooked perfectly. They were crisp had a nice golden brown tint to them. They went great with the Cane's sauce I ordered. It only got better from there! My chicken sandwich was hot, juicy, and stuffed with chicken fingers. So many, that it was a little challenging to eat. I like a messy sandwich though, so it was alright with me. I left feeling very full and happy about my visit. It was only $11.36 for my meal, which is a very good deal!

shrinkflation is real and it must've hit Raising Canes here in Davis. Got a three-finger combo and thought I was given a kids meal by the small nugget sized tenders and amount of fries given. Unfortunately my order was on the counter for maybe 10 minutes until someone noticed it had to be packed. Food is good i'll give them that but seems like their service is going downhill along with the food quality, not worth the price in my opinion.

Not sure why this place is 3 stars. My family always have a 4 of 5 star experience here. Great food, can't beat their yummy Texas toast, and great ambiance. It's also decently priced (tho with those prices, they can afford to hand out extra sauce). It's pretty busy so it can get hectic and the seats and booths filled up soon. I guess this is the only chicken place in Davis so I get it. I guess it's popular bc it's open on Sundays! IYKYK but it is all about that sauce. And I find it sad when restaurants make you pay extra for sauce. I think the first and second request for extra sauce should be free. And then if you want more, then you can start charging. I guess that's why that other place that don't open on Sundays is so great; they never charge for sauce. Neither does Jesus so subscribe and follow Jesus! Here's a pro tip: get your shorty to ask for extra sauce; who can say no! And I don't mean the waifu! Tho make sure your kids are cute and not annoying. Solid A

At the register or at 1 of 2 kiosks. There is plenty of inside seating with a small outdoors patio dining area. We ordered: Lemon/Pepper Wings (Large $18.99) - really crispy and juicy. Good size wings. Good flavor. We got ours with Ranch... note, the dressing was a bit on the watery side. Crispy onion ($6.99) - extremely crispy crust... cannot even taste the onion. If you like fried batter, this is for you. Goes well with the Ranch dressing. I got the chili onion burger ($11.99). Messy as heck...decided to go the civilized route... ate it with a knife and for...saving the top bun to mop up any leftover chili. Love the raw white onions and cheese on top. Good flavor, bean to beef ratio is pretty good. Bathrooms are located past the video games... mens room on the right and women's room to the left. Men's room had only 1 sink/ 2 urinals and 2 stalls. They were out of soap when we were there. Room was spacious and clean. The restrooms appeared to be shared by both the bar and restaurant.
