The ambience is pretty mellow. Just depends on the day. The food is excellent and Mary is fun so the service is good.

It may be hard to find but Crazy Mary's is the best seafood and service in Billings and maybe all of Montana.

We tried Fat Taco for the first time today at the Metra Park's Montana Brews & BBQs event after we…read moresaw it featured on the local news this week. We enjoyed their carne asada burrito without cilantro that was a large serving for $7. It was delicious. I would happily eat at their food truck again if given the opportunity. By word of mouth, a friend told me that they also love Fat Taco and recommend them. Since moving from San Diego, we haven't found a place that is our absolute go to for carne asada anything...we may have just found it with Fat Taco.

Fat Taco Food Truck to the rescue. What you won't do, is walk away from this one having to stop elsewhere to get more food. The portion size is generous and the food is good. I don't think it's good just because it gets me out of the house, either. It's all in the balance. The nachos, both with the pork and beef are filling and overloaded with toppings. Although the pork was slightly dry, the seasonings were still detectable. The shrimp tacos, with several decent size shrimp in each taco, also were done well. The shrimp were slightly overcooked; however, with the extra sauce and filling, it wasn't noticeable. It's tough getting everything exactly right when you can't eat it right away and that might well be why the meat on the nachos and the shrimp missed the mark. But on the tacos: They are hard to eat because the insides keep falling out -- they're that stuffed. Don't eat them in the car. The quesadillas? Oh wow. I can go on about these for a while, but just know that they will always be my go-to from this truck. Nice people, tasty food, consistently done. I look forward to trying them again when getting the food and driving back to the social distancing abode isn't a mandate.

After all, they're located in the same space that USED to be Cham Thai. I'm please to say that the green chicken curry is the best I've had since Cham Thai closed. The Massaman Curry that my husband had was the best I've ever tasted. If you like Thai food, consider enjoying a meal at the new Tup Tim Thai!

I don't know, though; maybe being in the house and not circulating much in society owing to the virus circulating through the country right now, skewed my perception. But I don't think so. The drunken noodles were great - spicy as requested (thank you Thai chili), and with large slices of chicken, broccoli and carrots and the hints of basil. From the first bite, to the last reheated bite, the flavors came together. The chicken curry puffs are delicious. They are easily my favorite thing on the menu. I've ordered them twice and each time they were perfectly done. The wrap was the thin where you could see the yams, onion and cilantro. The pieces of veggies inside were still crunchy. They're a meal in themselves. Combine that with the quick and friendly service, and Tuk Tuk will be a regular stop when I see it in the neighborhood.

Majik City Acai Sisters has a slightly different spin on the popular Acai fruit bowls. There's…read morestill plenty of fruit and topping choices, but they have specialty bowls with added surprises. With the usual honey, almond shavings, almond and peanut butters, you can also find cocoa nibs, goji berries, bee pollen, mango, and the "blue majik" made from spirulina, a fresh water algae. It's mixed into the acai base. The Majik is a very pale blue by the time it makes it into your bowl, but becomes a nice contrast to the fruit. You can have just an acai base if you prefer, or, mix the two in the Majik City bowl. That's one of the Sisters' specialty bowls. The hemp granola is good. (They also have a gluten-free granola.) Majik City found a way to make sure every bite of fruit has a crunchy bite of something to balance. While the menu has a selection of fruit and toppings in each of their bowls, you can also decide to pick the our own toppings for a unique creation.. The one item that seem a little out of place for the topping choices is the white chocolate chips. Still, it gives a creamy balance to the bowl. I'd probably ask them to skip those on the next one, though. In these crazy times of social distancing, Majik City Acai Sisters found a way to start a food truck, fit into the local scene, and help customers who want to get out while summer is still going strong. Given the lines at this truck the couple of times I've come across it, it seems the customers are returning the favor. Hooray for the local businesses.
