Great spot to stop en route to Vegas! Friendly and down to earth, the staff are great! We had eggs benedict split and it was just right for my Mom and I.

    Delicious French Toast.

For those who don't waste and those that value another human being... it has been long enough now that I see myself planning on being here more than once a week. Great location with Italy good eats and a decent patronage. I'm impressed and that usually doesn't come easy.

Great food. Big portions. Full menu above in pictures.

Crazy Otto's has great food. You definitely get a lot. Enough to share with somebody. The girls are hard workers so please tip them well. I saw a big family come in. Their bill was over $100 and they did not tip the waitress. If you can't afford to tip then you can't afford to eat out. my opinion.

The portions are ginormous! You won't leave hungry here. Had a ribeye breakfast burrito, French toast and pancakes breakfast with sausage and eggs. Good comfort food with an Americana style diner vibe. Great service.

Had the biscuits and gravy. Gravy was good, biscuits were kind of dry. Gravy had lots of meat in it. Had has browns, solid. Hame was smoked. I bet this place makes a great ham sandwich. Overall solid restaurant

Depends on the day if the food is gonna be good or not. Ordered grilled pork chops breakfast and the pork chops were over cooked the toast was burnt, and I asked for scrambled eggs eggs with very light cheese and got veggies with my cheese, and the coffee was like dirty water the consistency is not there anymore....was not offered a solution

Avocado cheeseburger with sourdough bread and ranch dressing for French fries.

There's a down home, country feel to the 49'er Saloon subtly referring to the California gold rush days of yore. Looks like an ideal place for bikers and horse riders. Hearty grub with hints of traditional regional American cuisine and full bar where you will not leave hungry. There's a formal dining room for larger gatherings for families and friends. Great place to eat after scrambling around Vasquez Rocks, visiting Animal Tracks, or just hungry on CA 14 frwy. Just get off the Crown Valley offramp and head due south for about a mile. 1) Wild Game Sausage: Walk On The Wild Side With Jalapeño-Cheddar Stuffed Elk With Roasted Peppers & Onions. Big portion enough for 2 meals since the Elk sausage is so rich. Elk sausage is ground fine and stuffed tightly in the casing for dense, firm texture. You're getting your money's worth. The Jalapeño has a nice, warm piquancy while the Cheddar gives a dairy fermented undertone. The julienned red and green bellpeppers are pleasantly al dente; the onions are caramelized to bring out their sweetness. It's all sautéed in an agrodolce/sweet-sour sauce along with a touch of garlic. 1a) Side dish: Nice little garden salad including green lettuce, diced purple onion, chopped tomato, grated carrot. Chose blue cheese dressing to use for the "Buffalo Burger". 2) "Buffalo Burger" is extra finely ground, plush, velvety Bison meat. So when I ordered it medium rare, the patty turned out mushy. Next time, I will order it medium to firm up and give more of a chaw to the meat. Opted for two slices of not too crispy, meaty bacon. Mayo, tomato, green lettuce leaf, grilled onions, cheddar cheese, dense brioche bun. I spread on the blue cheese dressing to give a little funk to what I thought would be the blood minerality of the Bison meat. It's another substantial dish. 2a) Side dish of standard French fries which was crisp as requested although it didn't quite have that ineffable earthy, mildly sweet, potato flavour 1-2a) Allegiance India Pale Ale, Lancaster CA was a good counter to both food items. Dry, heavy bodied, fruity with scents of orange zest, lacquer, touch of cleansing acidity. 49'er doesn't leave you hungry so didn't have enough room for dessert. I took the Elk sausage home and made sandwiches for two meals. So eating at the 49'er isn't as expensive due to the big portions. 4 stars

I typically order one of three things here: the BLT with avocado, a hamburger with no cheese, or the fried zucchini. I don't know if it's the seasoning, the cooking oil, or both, but the food slaps every time ...even if I end up in a food coma afterward. The portions are also great for the price. I try not to order from here too often because it's definitely not the healthiest food, but every once in a while it makes for a solid guilty pleasure meal. The staff here are great as well. I don't typically wait long for my food, they're generous with condiments, and they've always been welcoming whenever I've gone. As for the restaurant itself? Meh. The atmosphere is pretty ugly, the place feels old and outdated, and I honestly hate using their restroom. But since I don't usually come here to dine in, that part doesn't matter too much to me.
