I got a #2 Cheeseburger combo. It was very good!, very tasty. I know because I'm a mom and pop burger snob. It has onions and pickles and thousand. The meat is not chewy. I would get it a bit more cooked though. My coke was so good it had a lot of carbonation. The side thousand dressing is delicious! I peaked inside the ordering window and inside is very very clean and organized. I paid $13 total for the combo. It's a bit expensive , but worth the quality. I drive by this place often and decided to give them a try. I decided to try their chili burger and an order of zucchini. Wow I was impressed! Their chili burger was delicious and comes with chopped onions, tomato and pickles. The chili was not the brown kind, it was more towards orangy? But it was delicious. Like I said, I ordered an order of zucchini and it was amazing! It was hot, crunchy, and flavorful. BIG portion. Their prices are a tiny bit up there but when I got my food I can see why: they serve big portions! Had to take it with me to share. The staff was fast and friendly. They made my food to order while waiting at the drive-thru window. In about 5-7 minutes I had my meal. The girl at the window had a nice smile and helpful attitude. I will definitely go back! Extracting it from the paper bag it must have weighed close to 3 lbs. No way I'll going to eat all this I told myself. 5 minutes later I'm licking the foil. No warning! They're messy. The combination of the freshest salsa I've ever tasted makes it kinda runny. It was all over my shirt and shorts before I noticed. I want to start off by saying that Rio's Burgers is completely gone. I feel that this place is horribly overpriced and they charge you for extras. I use to love coming to Rio's Burgers because they made amazing, juicy burgers and their seasoned fries were the best. But IT IS UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT AND IT'S taken a nose dive for the worse. When it was Rio's Burgers, I didn't have to ask for ketchup, ranch, spicy peppers, because it came in a nice container as sides. If you want condiments they charge you $.50 cents each. The bacon cheeseburger was ok. Nothing special, I don't like that they put a huge slice of raw onion. So keep that in mind if you don't want to bite into a thick onion. I took it out. Moving onto the fries. The fries aren't seasoned, they are deep fried in the same oil that they fry their fish in which to me is so dang disgusting. These fries had that fishy taste afterwards. Money wasted here because I absolutely hate fish and it should not be near my fries. Skip this place and just go to another burger joint that is literally down the street. This place was such a disappointment :/ I'm super bummed because I expected it to be good based off of the menu. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and the fried fish and shrimp basket. The sandwich was OK but lacked any real flavor and was very bland. The french fries in the fish and shrimp basket were undercooked and soggy and the fish was overcooked way too crispy. On top of that it only came with one piece of fish and a few tiny cocktail size fried shrimp in a $10.99 basket. I usually get the club sandwich combo and it's fantastic and better priced than Toms Burgers and it's better quality! And the burgers are really good too! One cook one cashier both very helpful and nice people..small little spot ,has a convenient drive thru and An outdoor space to eat. I like this place ,you can even call in your order ahead of time. Food is delicious I usually get the rios burger combo or try their pastrami sandwich, both very very good! Only down fall is the location ..its in the corner next to a smoke shop and a car garage and parking space is limited so sometimes people block off the entrance and exit (mostly palmdales smoke shop customer's ) but over all this place is good and food is great read more
