Why bother going to a chain Gamestop and hour away, support the local guy. This place is a real gem for the area and I hope they stick around!

Vowing to return after our event, I brought two of my kids and one of their friends, and we all geeked out over the selection of vintage and used video games for practically every system released since the advent of the Atari 2600. The staff was super helpful in answering questions about legacy systems. There were plenty of amazing values on games from ColecoVision and original NES through the Xbox Series X and Nintendo Switch 2 and everything in between. The coin-operated arcade games and pinball machines, with a few free options, were also a blast. Digital Press is an absolute treasure.

This I believe is the second location of the two Digital Press Videogame shops, if you're a gamer, you feel at home walking in. There are games and accessories from nearly every generation so if you're a collector and want to lay eyes on what you're looking for as opposed to online, it's a necessity to come here. There are operation arcade machines here from 80's to 90's including a few pinball machines. The counter has employees who of course are gamers and what game store wouldn't be complete without regulars who hang around and talk about games as well. As I browsed around the store I was taken back through all the generations which was a good feeling, knowing that stores like this still exist. I could go on about why DPV is a great store, but I'll go over my experience on my latest visit. I went to unload a few games I had no use for anymore and could not sell them alternatively on C-list and the like so I came here. I got a better amount than I thought both cash and store credit (store credit of course being a bit more). Again, if you're a gamer or someone looking for games from yester-year and want to avoid online, try here.

The discs I received had come with deep scratches, rendering them completely unplayable. Selling games in this condition demonstrates either a complete absence of quality control or a disregard for customers altogether. It is one thing to expect minor cosmetic wear on used discs, but it is another to receive items that clearly were never inspected and should never have been sold in the first place. A company dealing in video games has one basic responsibility: to ensure the product functions. Kill Screen Games failed at that most fundamental level. Until they establish real standards for product inspection and customer care, I cannot hand them a good review.

Plenty to look through if that was your goal. However, we were hoping to pick up some newer games and simultaneously support a small, local, business. Selection of newer stuff was nominal, which was disheartening. Staff said hello, but never approached, never offered to help or strike up conversation. Prices were a bit higher than anticipated. When we arrived, we were greeted promptly by several employees. They asked us to head to one of the counters in the back and they would assist us shortly. They were so enthusiastic about the Gameboy games my fiancé had. It was nice to see them get excited about games that were popular in the 90's and 2000's. We overheard them saying that they typically match whatever GameStop is currently offering in store credit. To our surprise, they gave my fiancé more than GameStop would have if we would've gone there. This is why it matters to support small businesses. We were happy with the level of service we received here and will definitely be back.

I placed my order on a Tuesday evening & did not receive it until Saturday. That does NOT reflect 2-day priority. So I got gouged with outrageous shipping charges just to have it shipped late!!! When I addressed my concerns to the business they simply stated that they do not guarantee shipping & responded very unprofessionally. They clearly are in the business of ripping off consumers & DO NOT care about customer retention. As a former business owner, DO NOT OVERCHARGE your customers for shipping, be ethical & give the customer exactly what they paid for! You just lost me as a customer.
