    Surprise roll

I was excited to try a new sushi place and after reading the reviews I was set on trying the surprise roll. Shrimp tempura and asparagus inside, salmon tuna 3 types of fish egg eel sauce and wasabi sauce on top and it was abysmal. The shrimp tempura was soggy, cold and not fresh. The host did inform me afterwards that all the shrimp tempura was fried in the morning. It's 1pm now. I tried eating the fish on top and that wasn't any better or fresher. I ate two pieces and paid $18 for the single roll and left very hungry. The roll looks delicious but was not tasty and the sushi rice tasted like regular rice. I ate my 6 gyoza but reminded me of frozen gyoza and wouldn't have finished them if my roll was any good. Very disappointing lunch, especially for $25.85 .

Be patient with restaurants! I called in my order on Saturday evening and knew to expect a long wait time, but then I was sure to be hungry by the time my order was ready. The wait was about an hour and 20 minutes. I think the gentleman at the counter was taking calls, ringing up tickets, and serving. The sushi was fresh and delicious. My only small complaint is that the Las Vegas roll (fried) was boxed with the other rolls, so it made everything a little warm. Certainly not a deal breaker!

Consistent 5 star sushi! I've been a loyal customer for years. I've eaten here hundreds of times - at their prior (original) location as well. The sushi, apps and Japanese entrees are consistently fresh, beautifully presented, and delicious. They source top quality sushi here - so if you are happy with grocery store sushi or think AYCE sushi places are great, your mind will be blown by the flavors and skill of sushi chef owners Rok and her husband Ocha. My favorite rolls are the Surprise roll, Sarah roll, Meme roll, and No Name roll. The Sake Don (salmon sashimi over rice) is so fresh and there are too many nigiri to mention, but my faves are salmon, white tuna (escolar), baby scallops & wasabi tobikko. Also, be sure to try the teriyaki tofu app and the grilled squid app. I can't say enough good things about this family run business. They are so welcoming. A rare and slight exception is their fairly new male waiter who can be very curt on the phone and hasn't learned the finer points of politely seating people for dine in. He's just rough around the edges. The interior is bright and very clean and don't forget to take a tiny paper origami crane from the vase when you leave!

The inside looked so clean and calming! Though this order was to go, the host was ready and quick with assisting me. I was in and out quick! I got the Crunch Roll (white roll) very delicious and fresh. I also split a California Roll (orange topped roll) and lastly I got the Las Vegas Roll. It. Was. So. Good!!! Will definitely order from here again. If you have a craving for some good fresh sushi, you won't be disappointed here!

As a sushi lover, Crazy Sushi is easily my favorite restaurant in St. Peter's. Whenever I go to my mom's neighborhood for dinner, she knows my top pic for a dinner option is always Crazy Sushi. The ingredients are always high quality. I typically order an avocado roll and a vegetable tempura roll. The avocado is always perfectly ripe, and the eel sauce on the vegetable tempura roll is so so good. Service is quick, and the staff is very friendly. I highly recommend checking this place out if you live in St. Peter's or happen to be in the area!

I want to start this review off by stating that the service my wife and I received here at this restaurant was absolutely perfect.... The food however was not good at all. The tea was incredibly bland as looked like barely tinged water. The seaweed salad was covered in far too much oil while having very little flavor. My fried shrimp tempura roll was very clearly micriwaved. All of this stuff it nitpicky and preference based but our last complaint is just unacceptable. The rice used in all of our sushi rolls wasn't properly seasoned. There was no rice vinegar in any of the rice. The tuna and salmon was a bit too oxidized making me wonder how long it had been out of proper storage but fish color can vary quite a bit and not be a proper reflection of the freshness. Overall, I'll never be back here again. There were just way too many things that went wrong with my dinner that there isn't just one thing I can say would change my opinion of this restaurant.

The best sushi ever!!!!! You will not be disappointed!!! And the owners are amazing and so nice. Our kids even love their sushi!

Vegetable fried rice was really tasty and had a clean taste to it. The sushi was pretty good. The wasabi was very weird. I always dip my sushi in wasabi/ soy mixture) it was not as flavorful and had a weird mouth feel for me. We were the only customers in the restaurant at 12:30 on Friday but maybe just a lot of carry out orders? So the service was friendly and quick.

Wonderful place. Sushi was phenomenal. We also got edamame. Our sushi came out on a boat... which is awesome! Affordable place with friendly staff.

We both had the all you can eat $14.99 (pretax) deal they have for lunchtime. I personally believe this is the best "bang for your buck" (if you're able to sit and eat). The service was quick and the food was great! I always love the crab Rangoon and Shumai dumplings. As far as the rolls go, I enjoy the Yamasa roll and the Spicy crab! The sushi rolls were fresh and delicious. They also kept our drinks full as we kept eating! It was my partner's first time trying the place and they would go back for sure. Now, I was a little confused about the additional charges for leftover pieces. I've had different experiences for how they charge you at every location. I believe it varies from location to location, which is no big deal!

Omg!! I am so glad I got on the trusty yelp app for some ramen! ;)…read more While out here I met up with one of my friends who was telling me their ramen out here is delicious. I picked the ramen spot based on reviews and the photos of the ramen. Ichiro Ramen stood out from the rest. This spot is about 40 mins outside of St. Louis and it was well worth the drive. It's located in a strip mall next door to a grocery store. The restaurant itself is small, yet does have plenty of seating to dine in. We were greeted and immediately sat down. We were asked if we wanted a table or booth. I ordered the Tonkotsu ramen, my friend ordered the seafood ramen extra extra spicy and mg other friend ordered the chicken fried rice since she's not a big fan of Ramen. The waitress brings out our food one at a time and the food looks and smells amazing. I taste my broth and it is chef's kiss all I did was add some hot chili oil for extra flavor and kick. My friend's seafood ramen looked so good snd you can tell hers was super spicy because how rich and deep the color red her broth was and she added a lot of hot chili oil to hers since she loves spice. My friend's chicken fried rice didn't look aesthetically appetizing, but she's said it was tasty. Ichiro is definitely up there as one of the best ramen spots I've been to, it's pretty close next to my favorite ramen spot is Sacramento, Ca Soku Ramen and they speaks volumes.

The soup dumplings are really good, but you do need to ask for a spoon, which should come with it. The proper way to eat a soup dumpling is to put it on your spoon to bite a hole in the dumpling and empty the soup into the spoon so that it cools and you can eat it and then followed by eating the dumpling. The tuna taco was not for me because it had entirely too much sauce on it. The poke bowl was very good. Service is always very attentive and friendly. This is so close to me that it's a regular stop.

Very casual, has a nice outdoor area as well. Food could definitely be better... The mini burgers were OK, left much to be desired. A bit bland for my tastes. However, my stepdad got a regular burger and he really enjoyed it. My sweet potato fries were also very bland- tried some of my stepdad's tater tots and they were very good! He was the luckiest out of all of us, tonight. My mom got the Fantasy Roll and she wasn't crazy about it. Mediocre at best. We ordered the shrimp tempura roll for the table and personally I was just not a fan at all... the rice was very mushy and overcooked. The wasabi sauce on top was sweet?? It didn't pair well. As a sushi lover I was disappointed. I really enjoyed the strawberry coconut fizz, though! I love a good dirty soda and they followed suit with the trend nicely. Overall a very OK visit.
