Very friendly staff. Never let the water get below half full. The menu had lots of choices and also contained pictures of the specialty rolls of sushi. The quality was okay. I wasn't impressed but it was not horrible. I would recommend trying it for yourself as some people seem to like it, but personally will not be going back. read more

I went to Crazy Sushi last Friday with my daughter and son-in-law. We arrived when they opened, so we were their first and only customers. That being said, our service was prompt and excellent. My son-in-law asked a question about the food, and he didn't get a really good answer, but we ordered and our sushi came out promptly. It was fresh and delicious. The atmosphere was pleasant. I called and ordered a Las Vegas roll and a Rock n Roll to go, plus some chicken fried rice and crab dumplings. SO delicious! The rolls were visually appealing and tasted so fresh and yummy. The rice is pretty standard, but very good. Dumplings weren't much to rave about, but the hot mustard that came with them was awesome! Great first experience, I'll definitely be back. We went here for dinner this evening. At first the experience was ok, the potstickers were decent, and the sashimi was ok for a whole in the wall sushi place. Then when the waitress brought out our rolls a piece of her hair fell on our sashimi plate. I called the waitress over quietly because I didn't want the other tables hearing this as it wasn't on purpose obviously. When I told her about it she took the plate away and brought the hair under a light to see I guess who's it was? Then out of nowhere 2 waitresses and the chef came back to the table with the piece of hair and said it was my wife's? THEY BROUGHT THE HAIR BACK TO THE TABLE.....I CAN'T MAKE THIS UP!! The hair was the same length and color as the waitress but tried to blame it on my wife? Unfortunately for them the sashimi plate was on my side of the table and she wasn't near the plate. I just told them we would take the bill. They brought the bill for $81 out and we didn't even touch our rolls they just dropped off. Also we ate half the sashimi before her hair fell in it. So for $81 we got 3 pieces of sashimi, a beer each, a miso soup and a small sake. I would not recommend this place to anyone! read more

My wife and I have been going to Crazy Sushi for a long time. It is our favorite sushi restaurant. We go at least once a month and consider it a treat when we go. Mr. Chong makes the best sushi around. If you love sushi, you have to try this place. I recommend the Black Dragon roll. read more

Very odd experience. I requested to have fried rice instead of steamed with my meal. They said no substitutions. I asked if I could pay more and was still told no. She said they had to make it special. Another person I was with was ordering fried rice for their meal... In addition they forgot one of my sushi rolls and acted like I didn't tell them. It was written on the sushi card. I told them not to worry about it. Another sale they lost. Won't be coming back. read more

Horrible sushi should be the name. Did carry-out. Asked for sushi with no cucumber due to allergy. Got rolls and they had pulled the cucumber from the pre-made roll and missed some pieces. Rolls tasted as they had been made in advance. Rice was cold, guessing it had been refrigerated. No flavor to the rolls.... Even the spicy tuna. Will not be back. read more

Your food is consistently excellent, but this last time your service left us confused. We were not waited on promptly to begin with. One of our entrees was forgotten entirely. At checkout, when we brought this to your attention, we received no apology or offer to make it up to us. Instead your response was, "I was not involved". Waited for half an hour after I ordered my chicken teriyaki, and the waiter comes back and tells me that they forgot my order and they had to make it still. By the time I received my food, I had been waiting for over an hour and a half and my friends had all finished their food. At that point I just decided to eat it at home, and they forgot to put the teriyaki sauce in the to-go bag. The server was overall inattentive and unapologetic. My wife and I have gone to Crazy Sushi multiple times for the last year. All and all, the sushi is pretty good, probably the best you'll find in the area. We went a few weeks ago with my sister in law who happens to be 7 months pregnant. We asked if we could get the crunch roll fried, yes, I know this is an odd request but they obliged. When our food came out they brought just the normal crunch roll, I politely told the waitress that is not how we ordered it, she persistently stated that the Crunch roll was a "good roll" and we should eat it. I stated no, we ordered it fried and you said yes that it could be done, she then told us, "well, he already made it so why don't you just eat it like this and you can pay for another one, its good". At this point I was obviously agitated, she insisted again that we pay for and eat the roll that they made incorrectly. After I persisted again that we would not be paying for their mistake, they finally brought out a new correct roll. Overall this experience just ruined this restaurant for me and we will not be going here again. The sushi is definitely decent but the price raise recently is bordering eating at Tani in Clayton, which is above and beyond better than this place. read more

I recently ate at Crazy Sushi and had a terrible time. Although the quality of sushi was good, the service was absolutely terrible. I waited for over 2 hours at a table in the restaurant that was maybe half-full. Our waitress only came to our table 2 times and was borderline rude when she stopped by. After waiting for over two hours I finally asked for my sushi to-go. They boxed up my food and and forgot half of my order. Instead of offering to try to make up for my extremely long wait, terrible service, and wrong order, they rudely asked if I would like to buy more sushi to go. They did not even care about my business and therefore i will never eat at Crazy Sushi again. I wish i could give them 0 stars. read more
