Top tier sushi! Word of warning, when the menu says "jumbo" take that seriously! These rolls were huge - I've never had 3-bite sushi rolls before. LOL! So big they can be a bit messy to eat, but worth it. The flavors of the two rolls I ordered were fantastic and the ingredients were super fresh. I'm not usually in this area so when I found myself out here, I thought I would give them a try. I confess, I came to this strip mall fir Vivola Express, but the line was out the door. I spotted this restaurant across the parking lot and when I went inside, there was only one other table occupied. The service was great, and the food was fabulous, I don't know why their place wasn't jampacked. I think it's the best kept secret that needs to get out! I can't wait to go back and try more dishes. They have Korean food too!!

Top sushi was a pretty good spot. Would return but probably only for takeout as the service was focused on takeout service above those seated Liked: the atmosphere was okay, but had a lot of items sitting around and was more takeout focused. Service also reflected that.

This is such a cute hidden spot! It's known primarily for its takeout, but the inside for dining is so clean and orderly! There is also plenty of parking. I was sat right away and helped immediately. Everyone is so friendly here, I felt so welcomed. The Spring rolls came out hot and fresh! And the sushi also was so good! It was fresh and the flavors balanced nicely. The Hot Mama roll was my favorite! Not a high-end sushi spot, but nice quality and definitely worth the price!

Tasty little sushi spot right around the corner from my house! This sushi restaurant is a tiny little hole in the wall with some great options and competitive prices. They have online ordering, but pay when you pick up. This is not really a sit down place, more for when you want to be cozy at home with a craving for delicious sushi. Me and my wife always get gyoza to start, but also shared the Pizza, Crab Rangoon, and California rolls! Our favorite was definitely the crab Rangoon but they were all very tasty! We are glad to be just a mile down the road because we will definitely be back.

The best quality sushi I've ever had. Miso is so hearty. Had 3 rolls, they were amazing

Went here as it was a nearby joint that we wanted to check out. I'll start first by saying the owner greeted us with a warm and inviting welcome which was super appreciated! The price was a little more than I'd like to pay but the dish was fantastic! The sushi was presented well and tasted great. Main reason for the four stars is the a restaurant was pretty warm but it was still a pleasant meal and I'm sure we'll be back again!

Boat special for two, plus two rolls. We also ordered hot Sake.

The food was decent and their food display was well done! The service was okay, they seemed pretty keen on cleaning up around us. The atmosphere was intimate and family owned. Overall a decent place to eat if you're on that side of town.

Stumbled across this place and so glad we did. Quaint little place with great vibe and friendly service. Didn't know what to expect was presently surprised by the quantity and quality of the food. The fish, amazing and the rolls were fantastic. The size of the sashimi cuts were spot on. Definitely get your moneys worth at Top Sushi. We'll be

I was in the mood for sushi rolls so we went to Top Sushi last night. We have been here for several times in the past and I liked some of the rolls here. It was pretty busy when we came in but service here was fast and welcoming. The owner usually took order and brought food to your table. I was a little disappointed because the sushi rice was a bit drier than usual, other than that everything was good.

Each time I come for lunch or dinner, I am impressed with the quality and freshness - kind staff and a great selection of sushi and non-sushi menu items

We went on a Saturday night and had to wait for a table (only about 10 minutes) . There are only 8 tables or so but it is worth the wait. The owner was incredibly accommodating got us drinks while we waited for our table. We ordered shortly after being seated and the food came out very fast. The crab Rangoon had amazing flavor, some of the best I've had. The rolls were large in size and pricing was good. The ramen also tasted great, amazing mix of spices. The place was clean and we enjoyed the lanterns hanging for ceiling. We would go back again!!

I come here quite often, and honestly.. I have NEVER been disappointed. You are greeted and will seat you fairly quick. Their food is fantastic and the quality is fresh every time. It's a very relaxing atmosphere and they always make you feel welcome. 10/10 recommend !

I've had the Bonzai roll before and even though it's a little difficult to eat, it's worth it, especially if you're watching your carbs since this is a riceless roll. The St. Charles mayor roll was packed with flavor and was a very generous number of pieces. I tried the bang bang shrimp this time and they were very large shrimp with a kind of spicy mayo and chili sauce on top, but I have to say it was more sweet and not spicy at all. I would've liked it to have some spicy heat, but it was lacking that. They were packed tonight and had people waiting for tables, but I was able to snag a table for two just a few minutes after I walked in. There are only 12 tables in the entire restaurant.

Ours was amazing, she said "we don't fork shame here" I fork shame, but she refused. Good for her! I also ordered a cocktail. I would arrive to Sado just for this cocktail, it had a coconut pillow top, that was reminiscent of a marshmallow. Delightful compliment to my savory dinner. I was very surprised at the size of Sado on the inside, we made a turn into the seating then a second turn deeper into seating. I did not get to check out the bathrooms, which disappointed me, but the ambiance was very dark and romantic, also unexpected, there were several tables of friend groups.

The words do not convey the end product. For those who do not like sashimi - I understand. At other places, it has literally made me gag. But, I tried it here and holy moly is it good. In a menu of stand out dishes, I think the sashimi is at the very top. The service was wonderful- friendly, knowledgeable, attentive but not too attentive. Gratuity seemed to be included, but we tipped on top of that because the included gratuity was not nearly enough for service that good. Now it is noisy. That is what I did not like, but I have noise challenges. We asked if we could sit up front near the bar. They kindly accommodated us. It was late on a Thursday and the restaurant was full. Definitely make a reservation. There is an adjacent parking lot, but parking fills up quickly. It is evident why the owner has been a James Beard finalist - this is not your average great food. This is more. It is creativity and vibrancy. I almost forgot - price. It is surprisingly reasonable. The dishes are shareable and almost tapas style. 2-3 person is a good amount. Most dishes run $20-30 at this point in time (June 2026). We had really great mocktails which were in the $10 range.

We were looking for sake, and they had a decent selection of both wine and sake, but nothing particularly exciting. We decided to try the Hana white peach sake, which was a pleasant surprise. The food menus were in a state of disrepair, with staples holding them together. We started with some appetizers, including pork gyoza, crab rangoon, and spicy edamame. The pork gyoza was delicious, but the crab rangoon was quite crunchy and flakey with not much flavor. The spicy edamame tasted like it had been soaked in Franks' Hot sauce or Sriracha sauce, which I wasn't a fan of. I wish I had ordered them regular instead. For sushi, I opted for a shrimp tempura roll and a rainbow roll, both of which satisfied my craving.
