I went to visit my mom in Sherman, TX and she suggested this restaurant since she ordered to-go a few times and she's already hooked. Inside has a clean and modern look and being a fan of Thai cuisine I was very excited to check out. I started my meal with the onion soup and was sadly underwhelmed as it was lacking in flavor and really left me missing that savory, salty umami that a good onion soup usually offers but the Thai Tea certainly made for it. It wasn't too sweet and the half-and-half added the perfect balance of creaminess while rounding out the black tea. On to the main dish, Tiger Cry, which is a savory and lightly spicy steak, I ordered it with the fried rice and it included steamed broccoli that was not seasoned at all and the steak was a tad tough but otherwise delicious. I'll definitely come back to try more items on the menu, hopefully soon!

Crazy Thai has great ambience. The food is very good and always fresh. Great friendly service that never disappoints.

This is drunken noodles and beef ribs. Omg worth every dollar! Definitely coming back. This was delicious.

Tried 2 lunch specials, both the Red and Yellow Curries. Very good. Looking forward to trying other dishes and maybe a dinner. Lunch includes either salad or onion soup. We had salads and they were fresh with a house dressing.

Three flavor Snapper. Very good. This was a level 3 spice and was perfect.

The decor was simplistic, but cool. The restaurant is small but cosy. All the tables were taken when we walked in, the place was buzzing, but we got our table within less than 10 minutes. Rating: 9 out of 10 Food: everything I tried here was easily a 9 or a 10 out of 10! What we tried: - Holy Cow! Bo Ne - sizzling hot tenderloin on a hot plate served with a sunny side up egg, liver pate, salad and bread. Steak was juicy and tasty, liver pate was creamy, salad was the perfect combination of slightly sweet and savory. Combining all the ingredients together inside the baguette made the perfect sandwich! 9 out of 10 (almost a 9.5). - The Wok - flavorful Jasmine Rice wok fried with Prawns, Egg, Garlic and Spring Onions. Prawns were well cooked, crispy and very tasty, rice was flavorful, and the egg was cooked to perfection . 9 out of 10. Rating: 9 out of 10 Customer Service: customer service was good. We got our table fast, our food was brought out promptly and we were attended to regularly, without being overbearing. Rating: 9 out of 10

Should've done a side-by-side, but it was only me. Lol. The fish was exquisite. The heat was also good. This dish pairs really well with rice; I also enjoy taking the leftovers home, letting them sit overnight in the fridge, and enjoying with more rice. Mmm! But I am from out of town and was alone, so I ate it all there. They don't have WiFi, but there was some "guest Frontier" WiFi that was good for an hour. (And you can refresh it each hour.) Next time, I would try the "Szechuan Boiled Fish." Or if that's too much, the Mapo Tofu. The radio was playing like Christian soul; new to me, but as a Christian, I didn't mind. =) Oh, and in the pic I have my Kefir from Trader Joe's. I wanted something dairy to counter the heat, if needed. Mmm.

I placed an online…read moreorder for the two chicken egg rolls, Spicy chili wontons, general Tso chicken and an order of fried rice flat noodles. All the food was on the expensive side, but I heard it was good, so I didn't mine. One of the first thing I noticed was the entrees do not come with rice. There is a $1 up charge for white rice and $3 for fried rice, $5 for noodles. I have never experienced a Chinese restaurant that charged for white rice with an entree (not even PF Chang). I arrived 10 minutes after the time I was told my food would be ready. I checked in at the register and was told it would be another 5 minutes. I was told to have a seat and wait. Since there is no place to sit when waiting for a take out order, I sat down in the closet booth next to the register. After about 1 minute, a very rude lady came over in broken English and screamed that I could not sit there. I told her I was waiting on a to-go order and she just kept screaming "you don't can sit there", so I got up and stood by the front door. If my food had not already been paid for, I would have left after that rude encounter. The ambiance of the restaurant is very strange as they had a boombox loudly playing 80s music. It was so load, I felt bad for the customers who were eating at there. No way you could enjoy siting there listening to the annoying loud music while you ate. About 5 minutes later (15 minutes past the time they originally told me it would be ready) my food was ready. The food did come out very hot. I retrieved my food and took it home to enjoy. Overall the food is very basic and not worth the elevated price. The egg rolls were over fried and greasy. The spicy wonton were very bland and not spicy at all. The general Tso chicken was not good. Very small pieces of chicken, over breaded and a bland sauce. Again not spicy at all. The fried flat rice noodles were the biggest disappointment. Mushy noodles that were all stuck together. Not good at all. Overall the Noodle Works was a big disappointment. There are so many better option in the area (Dragon House or the Wok). Do yourself a favor and skip the rude staff Noodle Works.

A spicy chinese noodle shop that far exceeded my expectations…read more Jin was an exceptionally attentive employee who would often check up on us and top off our waters. Excellent service despite having no reason to, since we ordered through a qr code located on the tables. I don't write about customer service unless it was genuinely something that was worth telling people. He gave us a good rundown of the situation of the restaurant and provided an in-depth explanation of the menu for my first time there. He gave us plenty of options to choose from and explained what consisted in each of the dishes. Which helped us ultimately make our choices and I enjoyed every single dish. The interior was well decorated with modern/futuristic reflective aesthetics. A great touch that made me love it even more was the dimming bags put over the spotlights adorned around the ceiling to help cut down on glare and make it a bit more comfortable to enjoy the atmosphere. The mixed vegetable salad was a very pleasant blend of sweet, savory, and Sichuan spice. I originally was going for the cucumber but I was interested in more variety and opted to try more of what they had to offer. It still hit as a refreshing appetizer to complement our other dishes. 9/10 The black pepper noodles were actually amazing with how it balanced out a lot of strong, potentially overwhelming flavors. The black pepper was perfectly seasoning the fiery stir fried bell pepper and noodles. The beef played a great supporting role to elevate the dish without making it all about itself. 8.5/10 The Number 1 rice noodles in soup was powerful without being indulgent. The flavors hit hot and hard but still savory and tastefully diverse. Jin recommended it as the noodles have a very pleasant chew and had a diverse plating with bok choy, pickled mustard, and an egg to top it off. 8.5/10 Overall I enjoyed this place completely and will 100% return when I come back to Texas.
