Charles is very knowledgeable and I took his suggestion about how he should move some existing water lines that my contractor needed relocated. Also Charles explain what to expect during the process of his repairs before he started even thou it took longer than Charles stated I could see it was due unexpected hidden poor work from previous plumber repairs. Rips off old people! And doesn't finish what he starts. Charles came and fixed a clog in our toilet only pushing the clog to the tub. Left us with a tub that didn't drain. When called and confronted he said it was another job. He talked to me like I didn't know what I was talking about, maybe he thinks women are stupid. We called another plumber who came out and fixed it for cheaper and it drains better then ever. Then my Grandparents who are almost in their 90's (not quite sure what's going on all the time) called him back out,not aware that we had called another plumber. So Charles came out again and checked the drain, said it seemed to be working better then the last time he saw it. And then asked if he should still do it. My grandpa said yes. Mind u that drain was working better then it had been in years. Way to take advantage of the elderly. Talks more then he works. Loud and arrogant. Oh and he likes to talk bad about customers to other costumes (like a school girl). And he was bad mouthing people who write bad reviews. So he will probably talk bad about me and this review. MY WATER HEATER WASN'T STAYING LIT. I HAD NO HOT WATER! Called CRC on a Sunday, late afternoon and left a message. Charles called me back within 20 minutes. I set up an appointment for Monday and he showed up on time! Charles explained what he wanted to do to fix the problem and 30 minutes later it was fixed and I had hot water! Our main sewer line was giving us problems-again. I had remembered seeing CRC's work van in our neighborhood. We didn't have a plumber we were attached to, so we decided to give this guy a try. We had previously had another plumber out twice to clear said line within an 8 month period. CRC came in, ran a camera, entered though a different clean-out (to get to the problem better, with a larger bit). Found the problem and addressed it. Instead of trying to charge me for a new sewer line, Charles took care of the problem and gave me different options if its to occur again. Instead of charging me big bucks for a sewer line that we did not need. Overall nice guy, good demeanor-KNOWS WHAT HE'S DOING! Super professional and very reasonable, we will not hesitate to give Charles at CRC a call should (or I should say when) the need arises again. read more

Even though I ended up not using CRC Plumbing, I would like to give them five stars for being very responsive and for the great communication. I had a leaking gas valve, which was obviously en emergency (the gas to my house had to be shut off). Since it was a weekend, all the plumbers were extremely busy. Nevertheless CRC plumbing listened, responded and scheduled an appointment to fix it on Sunday. One of the other plumbers ended up being able to come sooner, so I ended up using them, but CRC Plumbing will be one of the first places I call next time I have a plumbing need. read more

Horrible service! Called CRC and they came over to install some plumbing in a new kitchen sink as well as the dish washer. They could not install the dishwasher and the garbage disposal which they also installed leaks water from where it connects to the sink. We were told that he would have to charge us AGAIN for a second trip and labor to our house to RE-DO the work he did NOT do right the first time. Why should i pay someone twice to do the same job they could not do correctly the first time, now looking for someone else that can come fix their job. Their prices were also higher than most of the other quotes i got, you do not "get what you pay for" in this case. Would NOT recommend! read more

On Thanksgiving night with a kitchen full of dirty dishes, our kitchen drain stopped up AND our water heater stopped working. Charles is a thorough plumber combining a craftsman's expertise with standards of excellence. He replaced our Bradford White water heater which had not been installed to code by the previous vendor. He arrived 5 minutes early for the appointment. Charles was careful to review and explain what was needed and why. He installed an expansion chamber and we wanted to add a new Grundfos recirculation pump to replace our 17 year old one. Charles re-plumbed and replaced some copper pipe to improve the water flow. He used quality parts in all cases and his handiwork was excellent. Charles triple checked all the fittings. He made sure that everything was up to code including adding the gas line "Drip T" bit of iron pipe which catches debris or moisture in the gas line. Even the little things were carefully managed. The galvanized vent pipe is supposed to have three tap screws per joint to meet code. Charles did that and taped the seams too. He wanted to insure that there could be no carbon monoxide leaks. We now have a professional installation with everything meeting local code. Charles even had a Square credit card reader for his smart phone to handle a credit card payment in under a minute. Plus, he made the garage cleaner than it was before he did the job. Sometimes the difference between first class and no class is 10%. Another great experience using CRC for a plumbing issue. Thankfully we have only had three plumbing issues in seven years and Charles is the only guy I'll use. Making an appointment was fast and easy for a visit the next morning, and he arrived within the first half-hour of the two hour window I was given. Friendly and professional, I appreciated him putting clean covers over his boots each time he came in and out of the house. He assessed the issue quickly and gave me several options and prices on how to proceed. He installed our new disposal unit quickly, verified all possible scenarios of leaks multiple times and left the sink area super clean. Though the job involved was not huge, he and his young protege were at my home well before the 4 hour window he gave me. I wouldn't call CRC if they were the last plumber in town. I've dealt with numerous plumbers over the years, in many states, and have never had an experience even remotely as bad as what I experienced with CRC. He left my house a mess, both inside and out (I have many unbelievable pictures), without clearing a blockage and charged me over $600 for his failed attempt (it was initially over $800, but I was able to reduce the bill, even after being threatened by with a "I know where you live" quote). On top of all this, he repeatedly insulted me for not keeping my pipes clean! Unbelievable! Another plumber came in the next day and said he wouldn't charge a penny if he couldn't clear it, but he ended up clearing it quickly for less than $200, and stated that CRC had been working in the wrong location. CRC was attempting to clear the blockage near the street when in fact it was about 75 feet away on the side of the house; he worked for hours in the wrong spot and charged me $165 per hour for his mistake! Unlike CRC, the other plumber was embarrassed and apologetic for CRC's service. I know CRC has many positive reviews, but my experience was an absolute nightmare and very unprofessional.
