I recently visited the salon to get my hair done for my Birthday(I was so excited for a change). Upon arrival I told my stylist what I wanted, showed them photos, and also explained my hair texture as I have wavy/curly hair. I was reassured that she herself had curly hair and she knew how to cut it... She did not... my layers are all different lengths and there is a giant shelf hitting right at my shoulders. I am so regretting referring a close friend here!! I brought her there for highlites and ended up with darker hair! Instead of blonde highlights was now brunette and not only did they NOT fix tried blaming her shampoo that has never taken her blonde highlights out! I would be very cautious of this salon. I have used it for brow trim, which they do great! But please beware of coloring. The "top" stylists really don't know what they are doing at all (I have used 3 here)!! Stylists down here in Florida DO NOT know how to foil and use a low light and a highlight in the same visit. They only know how to glaze, root blend (whatever that means) and can NOT go to the root with the foil. I was just there and she destroyed my hair!! She told me she could not color because I was using rogaine, which is false, so she glazed it. It turned orange in the front and did NOTHING to the root or the grays. We had to re-glaze, now I have very dark hair the top half, and glazed lighter on the bottom. My blonde is gone! I don't even know what else to say about it! If you come from the North, do not go here, they do not have the training and skill to foil your hair. read more

First impressions of Cre8 salon and spa was it was very clean, organized and the staff were very friendly! I went in for a haircut and an eyebrow wax. Tina was my stylist and she really took the time to talk with me and discuss what I wanted to do with my hair. She made me feel comfortable during my visit. I decided to give Cre8 a try after not going to the salon for several years. I had stopped going to Cre8 when my stylist left to go to another salon, and I followed her to the new salon and then she moved. My appointment was with a 4AA stylist. A family member was treating me to getting my hair cut for my birthday, and I wish I never went. I was charged $88 for a haircut and style, of that $88 an extra $13 was charged because of my hair length! So $75 for the haircut and $13 extra for length. I have attached the receipt. My experience there and the haircut I was given was not worth $88. My hair length isnt even down to the middle of my back! When I saw this on my receipt I called Cre8 and was told by the receptionist that some stylists add this extra fee to a haircut because with longer hair it requires extra arm strength to style, additional product etc. I was flabbergasted, I have never been charged an extra fee for hair length, and I have had my hair cut and styled at other salons when the length was all the way down to my back. After the Hurricane coming thru in Sept and so many of us are still recovering, this is absolute greed that they should be ashamed of doing. Not to mention that while my hair was being shampooed at 8am by her assistant, my stylist was cutting someone's else's hair to my left so she double booked at 8am. I will never go to this salon again nor refer anyone there. read more

You can not go wrong with any of the women here. One thing is for sure about Cre8, is that they hire only the best. Literally every woman here is so talented and great at what they do, it's crazy. I get my hair done religiously every 6 weeks and have tried a lot of places in SWFL and Cre8 is the BEST hands down. Tina is wonderful, Lilly is wonderful, but I have been going to Cyndy (Cynthia) because I was told she specializes in short hair and I wanted to go short. She has not given me one bad haircut! Each time she cuts my hair, she shows me how I can style it and effectively answers all of my questions. Each time I leave there I'm IN LOVE with my hair. My point is, make an appointment. With anyone really. You will NOT be disappointed. But if you have long hair, I would go to Tina (she was so amazing with my long hair) and if you are short/going short I would recommend Cyndy but I'm sure any of the ladies will do amazing. read more

I'm giving this place four stars because of their customer service, not because the work they do is top-notch. My daughter went in with a picture of an ombré hair coloring she liked. Tina, the stylist, said she couldn't do the look my daughter was trying to achieve due to our (apparently) small $250 budget. My daughter wanted her hair dark on top fading into a bright blonde at the bottom. She ended up with foil highlights on top of her head???!!! When I saw the finished look I was pissed. Not only did it not even look like anything in the picture, but her hair didn't even look colored. And, her naturally curly hair was blown out into a giant poof-ball. I called the salon and spoke to both the stylist and the manager. Their customer service was superb and they promised to fix my daughters hair. We went back today and my daughter got the look she should have received on her original visit. My issue with this salon is that the stylist should have done it right the first time. Especially for the amount of money we were spending. I appreciated the salon correcting the issue and I feel they deserve four stars for their courteousness, professionalism and customer-service. read more

Emie did a great job. First time here and I was a little nervous. I have super thin hair and to me it was looking rough. I wanted to go from brown with brassy highlights to burgundy. First time the glaze didn't take I was nervous but she new exactly what to do to get the color I wanted. I left very happy. It appears my husbands review has disappeared. Please reconsider another salon. I HAD shoulder length dark brown hair. I got my gray roots touched up every 3 weeks. I just moved here and selected this salon. I had one of the top stylists and she talked me into going with highlights, etc... But first my color needed to be lifted. Color lifter did not work. Here comes the bleach. I told her 2 times my scalp was burning and her assistant told me to hang in there for 10 more minutes. When they rinsed my hair, the assistant stopped immediately and I was left laying with my head in the bowl for about 10 minutes. I put my hand to my head and felt no hair. The hair I did feel, fell out in my hand immediately. It was horrendous. They did not apologize, nothing. The stylist said she would give me cute pixie cut!!! I had to pay!!!! I think of this now and should have walked out. I was literally in shock. My neighbor, who is new in town also, had a similar experience. I have since talked to 2 other women who had horrible experiences there. I will let them post their own reviews. Bottom line is they try to sell you more services which always includes highlights. The stylists that rank a high level really do not possess the technical skills of what they boast. They have assistants that they are training and let them do most of the work! Which leads me to ask why are we paying for the Highest level stylists???? Please reconsider going here. My hair is finally growing back. There is still bad damage. read more

I struggled to find a good salon after moving here from LA. I did alot of research and then just took a chance. The salon is nice and professional and my girl took me right on time. I like the fact that they have Redken certified people working there. Jackie took me back and talked to me about my hair - asked me what I wanted and so on. I felt like she took the time to really know about me and my hair - as well as inspecting it. (Even down to reporting the breakage underneath from wearing too many dreaded ponytails here in SW Florida!) They have a cool table for color application with mags, coffee, water etc. All in all it felt like a really cool spot. Jackie told me about a couple of products but did not in any way push them on me (I hate that). I did try one and now it is definitely in my HG of hair care products (Pureology Hydracure masque) Fair prices and will definitely go back. However! Bummer. I called back and Jackie is no longer there. So I will have to try someone else there. read more

I have been coming here for a few years. They have a great staff and always make you look great. The staff always stay up to date with all the styles and trends. My daughter has course curly hair. They are the first to be able cut it correctly and do great on the stylish looks. I have seen them get busier and expand and become more popular. That is great. The reason I gave them 4 stars is because they seem to be overbooking and not having enough chairs for the stylist and clients. For that reason I have started looking for another Solon. This almost never happens - you move to a new city and the very first hair stylist you go to is absolutely wonderful! Lily had some good things said about her on other review sites so I called and made an appointment with her. I could tell from the first 2 minutes into the cut that it was going to be perfect. She took the time to listen to what I liked and the challenges I have with my hair (darn cowlicks!) then gave me the exact hair style I was wanting. I was very impressed with the salon overall. The front desk receptionists were very professional and helpful. After hearing some comments about Melissa, one of the massage therapists, I made an appointment. Loved that the massage table was heated! Melissa did a fantastic job of soothing my shoulder boulders and other tense parts of me. I'll definitely be going back for more massages with Melissa - which in my opinion are very reasonably priced - and will stay with Lily forever! read more

I live in Lehigh Acres and go to this salon for all my hair needs. It is a 45 minute drive (one-way) for me to go there, but it is SOOO worth it! April Mayle is an absolute hair GODDESS and I would not trust my hair with anyone else. She is the absolute BEST, having cut my hair multiple times (trims, very long to a short bob, etc) and having colored it multiple times as well (ombre, full head, highlights, "peek-a-boo" color on the underside of my hair, etc).
