Recently, it was her birthday, and not only did her staff celebrate her, but clients like myself joined in by decorating her desk area with flowers, candy, and heartfelt touches. That alone says a lot about the kind of person she is. Sabrina goes above and beyond every day to make the gym both beneficial and fun. I've seen her participate in different classes so she can speak knowledgeably and honestly about them. I've watched her walk through the locker rooms with staff to ensure the facility stays clean and well cared for. She even spends her own money on thoughtful extras, like decorating mirrors with positive, uplifting, and motivating messages. Most importantly, Sabrina always has a smile on her face, and everyone knows her desk is open -- whether you want to ask about personal training, equipment, the facility, or simply share a story and a laugh. Misleading sales tactics and terrible customer service…read more I came in for a free pass I saw advertised and was pressured into signing up after being told I could cancel and get some money back if it didn't work out. That was not true. When I tried to cancel, I was told I missed a 3-day window that was never disclosed--and I was even blocked from canceling sooner because they don't process cancellations on weekends. Staff was rude, dismissive, and took zero accountability. After reading other reviews, it looks like this is a pattern. I've escalated this and will be filing formal complaints if it's not resolved. Be careful--get everything in writing. Especially all you new NWFIT members. Careeeeful

I wish there were more around because I moved out of the area and don't go here anymore. I felt very safe and comfortable and met wonderful individuals during the late nights of working out when I couldn't sleep. It was helpful and a great. I will say that it can be a bit intimidating and the fact that I've been confident and know what I'm doing made things easier.

I was so impressed with the gym that I drove up from LACEY multiple days a week, a 45 minute drive one way on average with traffic. I liked the Iso-lateral equipment and some of the body builder stuff. Only to show up this week and see that the owner decided it was a marvelous decision to install an AI vending machine. Billions of styles of vending machines out there, all made to improve the systems and processes of ensuring products dont get stuck and that payments go through correctly. Just so that the owner can make a couple more bucks and provide beverages outside of normally staffed hours. Funny considering there is already on call staff for the phones in case you cant get into the building that live close enough that if you needed help, they could show up. (according to other staff when I was starting at the gym, was said in the tour) they could get a nice, not ai vending machine and just have someone already on call show up to fix it if it got stuck. I am so disappointed that the owner decided to be part of the problem and support these systems that are causing these data centers and water pollution. Obviously a very broad statement but those who understand the problem with AI understand what I mean, and if you dont you should probably start reading up on it more. I knew deep down I did not want to be alone with him. Like I said before, I felt so uncomfortable around him. I hated when there were exercises when your bum would be in air, because he was always walking behind me.... Creep!! After class, I complain about him to husband & he told me to quit going. I told no, I spent too much $$ not to go. After 4 weeks in, he was arrested. I then knew my intuition was spot on about him. Now he's getting his in prison!!

His clients were mostly women and he insisted that we wear gloves (which I have never been asked to do, even in crossfit) and told me it wasn't for us, it was for our husbands. Thinking back I realize how creepy it was that he wanted our hands to be callous free "for our husbands". Shawn dated his clients and frequently caused jealously amongst them during class. It was extremely uncomfortable. He inevitably married a client which ended in a nasty divorce. I just couldn't handle the drama. It was a very dark experience for me. He knows NOTHING about heath or nutrition, and blames his lack of fitness & health on everything and anyone else but himself.  I recently gave my opinion online that he is "the worst trainer I have ever had" and some female (presumably a client he is dating) posted a private message from me to Shawn thanking him for my renewed confidence. That was 2014 & before I saw what was going on around me. Shawn & this female "Alicia" continued bashing me on this particular thread.  I have had many trainers and different gyms, all of them reputable and had something I could learn from. Shawn Bell is just a toxic narcissist on a power trip taking advantage of vulnerable girls. Stay away.
