I had called many and I mean many different paint shops just to have a new bumper and fender painted and most shops were super overpriced or were horrible in communicating. I was referred to this place by lifesafer interlock device to monitor my device originally Frank the owner was amazing with his help and was always nice but I just found out that I was overcharged with calibration fee he has a contact which states he can't charge more than contracted fee he told me from beginning he only accepted cash which I payed since October 2023 I just realized he never really gave me a receipt every time I payed him cash he told me the first tiene I asked for it the printout from calibration was my receipt.. I was suckered in by his sweet approach than I didn't want to be rude but now I realize that he overcharged me and when I asked for a printout of payments I made to him he didn't even had the courtesy to reply and apologize. This is not a good business ethic! I'm really disappointed I truly believe he was such a genuine good person, but I was proven wrong! I bought a used car a few years ago and this past year I have had this weird rattle coming from the front...not all the time, but just enough to irritate me. I had taken it to three mechanics and none could find the issue. The last one said it was the front bumper that was loose and recommended a body shop closer to home, but they were not open the first time I had available. I checked my favorite place (Yelp) and got some quotes but none with a cost, but Frank (the owner) replied back and it made the most sense so I came here a few days ago and he looked at it and said it definitely could be something in the front, but I didn't have the time to drop it off. I made arrangements to come back and Frank gave me an excellent quote for the work. I dropped it off and he did what he said...but couldn't fix the rattle. I don't blame Frank, but he took the time to show me something that it might be and I agree so I will have to take it back to a different mechanic because it is not body shop work. Frank is honestly the best and made what could have been a painful process really easy for me. I got involved in a fender bender on a Friday night and wanted to take care of it ASAP so I wouldn't have to worry about it or have too much time without the car. Frank was available when I called in first thing Saturday morning and quoted a very reasonable price, explaining what was built into the cost based on the type of car and extent of damage. Even better, we brought the car in and confirmed the estimate and made plans to get work started right away - this is one of the only places that would even do an estimate on Saturday on short notice and at a fair price. Frank also helped us to make arrangements with the nearby rental car place for the couple of days we would need a car and made a point to help make sure we got a reasonable rate. We were very pleased with the work when the car was picked up. By Tuesday night we were quickly able to move on as if the fender bender had never happened, with all of the stress going away the minute we spoke with Frank. I'm very grateful to have found a place that is quick, reasonable, responsive, and at the same time still delivers high quality work. Pleasant, not a word that comes to mind when taking your car in for work, Frank is pleasant and professional. My Solara is 17 years old, it was a high end car and yes I know the parts are expensive. I went to 3 shops including Franks. One wanted $100 just to find out why the window was stuck and doubted he could even fix it. The second shop diagnosed the problem quickly but insisted I had to buy a new part. They wanted $700 to fix the window and said it would take days. Frank took my door apart in a flash and showed me the problem, he also offered options so I could make an informed decision. He was able to salvage a part by the next day, and worked around my schedule to finish the job. His price to use a new part was still lower than shop 2. Franks cheerful disposition is priceless.
