The business owner Nathan was extremely unprofessional and I had to remind him weeto work on our UTV. I told owner I needed my UTV back asap because he kept finding things wrong with it and he was unsure how to fix it after $1,500 . I'll start by saying that CCSE was able to fix the issue with my bike, and I'm sure they know what they're doing mechanically. I want to put a warning out there for others so you won't get blindsided when it comes time to pay like I was. I dropped my bike off and told them what the issue was. I was told they'd take a look at it and call me when they were done with the bike. Fast forward a week and I get a call detailing a few issues with my bike. The main issue was the fuel system needed to be cleaned (there were several smaller issues that I said I would take care of myself). I was told it would cost $212 and would be done in a few days. When I go to pick up the bike I was very unpleasantly surprised with a $329 bill. I was told that there was a $85 diagnostic fee which was in addition to the $212 that I'd been quoted over the phone. I expressed to the owner that I was frustrated because any time I've had a vehicle (or even my computer) worked on in the past, when they call to give you the quote, that includes any diagnostic fees. He was professional and offered me a discount on parts in the future, and apologized for not expressing the real total over the phone when I was told it would be $212, but insisted that $329 was the correct amount and that I should have known that the diagnostic fee would not be included in the $212 price that I was told it would be (there was an additional $22 for parts and $10 for gas, oil, and grease that was added to the $212 I was quoted, plus the $85 diag fee). To be fair, I was told when I dropped the bike off that there would be a fee for them to diagnose the issue, I assumed when I was told what the cost would be that it included the diagnosis. Very disappointing, just want to put that out there so people know when you're quoted a price that it will not include the diagnostic fee, gas/oil, and possible extra parts. I do believe CCSE does quality work, but I don't feel the pricing was at all transparent. For those interested in pricing: I was billed for 2.5 hours labor to clean the fuel system and replace a spark plug (plus the 1 hr to diagnose the issue). This is the worst business that I've done business with. It took then 5 months to do a handlebar replacement and clean the carbs for a 1972 Honda. I dropped the bike off the 1st week of March, it's now August. I made 5 trips to check up on the process of my bike. They damaged my exhaust and gas tank along with inflating the price that I authorized. To make matters worse, my motorcycle left the shop in worse condition than when I dropped it off to receive the work. I told them 4 times I was going to pull my bike from the shop since it sat for over 4months.They presented a bill of $1,800 when I went to pick it up. They threatened to keep my bike if I didn't agreed to pay $1,800 when I only agreed to $1,200. They never attempted to inform me about the change in our agreed of the price. DON'T GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS, you will regret it. Zero professionalism, extremely dishonest, SCAMMERS to be honest. Worse decision I've ever made was taking my classic garaged motorcycle to this shop. The 1st day it was back in my garage, there was a massive gas and oil leak. Don't let them touch your bike!! Now my bike has to go to another shop so it's safe to ride. Wish zero stars was an option for this business. I've never left a review but this was extremely necessary to protect the people from these scum bags. They only except cash payments which means they don't pay taxes or report their earnings. Try to save yourself the hassle and spend an extra 10$ an hour to take it to a dealership, where there you will get quality and professional work, took my bike to creative Colorado to get a tune up which according to them was only changing spark plugs and air filter which I could have easily done myself and had I known that that's only what a "tune up" consisted of I would have taken my business elsewhere and saved the hassle, on top of all of that when I went to go get a second opinion on it at another motorcycle shop the man there commented that the spark plugs should have been a heat range higher and that I could have just washed the air filter I had as it was basically brand new and didn't have to pay 47$ in parts that were second grade. Only reason I gave 2 stars instead of one is because they did replace the plugs and the air filter, if you can take it to the dealership you will thank yourself for spending the extra 10$ an hour and will be treated better and will get what you pay for read more
