Overall, I'm happy with the new counters & backsplash. Its just beautiful. Everyone was very friendly. I want to mention a few things this 1st timer experienced. Demo- if you are removing old counters & backsplash, be prepared for some slight repairs & touch-ups on cabinets and / or trim. Also, they do not remove your existing faucet, garbage disposal, oven vent etc. Nothing plumbing or electrical. If you add tile on a wall where there previously was none, expect to need longer machine screws to put the outlets back. If they don't notch out the tile for the plate covers they will not be as flush. We found both of these things out the next day while trying to put the outlets back in & covers on. If using your existing sink, the sink clips may not fit with new counter. We had to remove sink & caulk under. I hope this gives some insight for others as we had no clue of the process going in. read more

Wow! I really needed to update the kitchen in my new-to-us older home. Kris made it so easy! We purchased a new home that needed updating and required some renovations, and we wanted to stay within a certain budget. Our real estate agent recommended Creative Granite & Quartz. After visiting their shop and viewing the slabs and getting estimates with very reasonable and competitive prices, we decided to use them. Everyone at their shop was friendly and knowledgeable and worked with us to get the right materials for the look we wanted and to stay within our budget. They did our bathroom countertops, a laundry room sink top, and also the kitchen cabinet and island countertops. They did such a fantastic job on all countertops, we also hired them to install the tile around our fireplace and kitchen backsplash. I will post another review soon for tile work along with the images of the kitchen countertops when the work is finished. We really liked that the owner worked with us on ideas that gave our kitchen island some contrast to the other kitchen countertops. He also made sure that the supports underneath the slab of the kitchen island was adequate. So on top of great prices, know-how, and excellent work done in a timely manner, we also got some style/design advice. We couldn't be happier with everything they've done. Pacific was the contractor chosen by our home builder. The builder has used him extensively with great success. The mark of a good contractor is made when things don't go quite right. There was a problem with the installation of flooring. Pacific made several attempts at repair without success. They stuck by us and completely replaced the failing flooring. Any installation that goes good is to the credit of the contractor. What separates Pacific is the fact they did all that was necessary to make the job right after a problem occured. If I have the opportunity I will return to this contractor for future work. read more

I have experienced better. I have two fairly serious complaints. 1. Communication and attention to customer needs seem to be lacking. In my original quote from the owner Kris I decided on one larger square sink for one bathroom and two smaller ovals for the other because of its small size. When the countertops arrived they were all the larger square sinks which left me with almost no countertop space in the master bathroom. Nothing I could really do about it at this point in time since I was on a strict schedule to get these two bathrooms done. 2. In the area of workmanship I have seen better as well. I will say they were quick. Installed two countertops and 3 sinks in less than two hours. They did fail to add any caulk or sealant to the countertop-cabinet junction which they said they would. They did drill the faucet holes after the countertops and sinks were installed in the house. This was never done on my previous installations so I wasn't aware of the danger that almost sent me to the urgent care clinic to flush quartz dust out of my eye, but luckily my glasses caught a couple of "splashes" of dust that they didn't clean from the inside ledge of the sinks. It fell right on my face when looking up from inside the cabinet to install the faucets. Note: always insist that these holes are drilled before the slab enters your house. I should have known better and been suspect when I called their office and offered to drop off the faucets and they said they didn't need them. A secondary problem with this was a dirty countertop with the fine white dust which they ended up caulking right over when they caulked the backsplash to the countertop, leaving a rough feeling caulking job and a countertop that was not clean. All in all, not a good experience. read more
