Jerry assisted us and he was very knowledgeable, friendly and professional.We chose wood look tiles for our living room and hallway that are high quality porcelain. They arrived when he quoted and we had them installed by Lesli with Fineline Tile and Stone. The floor is amazing to walk on and so perfectly even. There are no high and low spots. They did not have the product on-site, but the wait time was reasonable (less than a week). They helped us choose a subway tile that we would be happy with, and they were right. It looks great. Excellent selection of tile of all types. They were able to answer all of our questions and educate us in the process. Of course they can't warehouse all of that material so it might be a few days until your selection comes in. They do NOT install or cut tile but have several contractors on file that will be able to handle that for you. Mundane to exotic they have the selection of ceramics and porcelain you are looking for. I had to replace a kitchen sink which required taking quite a few cut tiles and cutting more off of each of them. I bought those tiles from Ceramic Tile Center about 20 years ago. When I went in, they remembered me and even those tiles and proceeded to carefully make the necessary cuts. Oops. I had to return the next day because I needed more small tile pieces to complete the job. It was a pleasure to work with them just as it was many years ago. Our first visit was to look at wall & floor tile for our bathroom. The staff were helpful and knowledgeable, and gave us good advice on what to consider. A few weeks later we were ready to make a purchase. We made our own arrangements for install so we were just buying tiles & supplies. Ceramic Tile Center was very price competitive with Home Depot & other big box stores. Once again we experienced excellent service and technical knowledge, given freely and not rushed. Three bathrooms, one kitchen, and a hearth project complete, I have found my go-to tile store. This isn't a store where you go in and they have everything in stock but you can select from a wide range of products and it usually comes within a week. Bob and Frank not only know the products but they also know installation. They have been very helpful sharing suggestions with me. All of my projects have been successful. I was originally concerned that the pricing would be more than the box stores but that has not been the case. My husband and I visited this store over the 4th of July weekend we were return customers as we bought glass tile from them last October and it was wonderful so we thought we'd use them again for our project of our bathroom we walked in we asked them if it was okay that we have bring in floor samples of our current floor and additional floor sample from our current remodeling source they said that was fine we told him we were looking for stone for the floor and porcelain tile for the bathtub surround. At a certain point I found something that my husband and I really liked we then contacted my remodeling designer and ask them if they also carried this product, i didn't think they did but I had to check. Ceramic tile actually had had the best price and we were going to go with them for the flooring he even offered us a 15% discount my designer did call me back and say that she could match the price, the employee/ owner who is helping us asked me about my phone conversation I told him honestly that my other source could match the price I was still shopping I had not made a decision yet and he proceeded to take all of my samples off the table and promptly said "we're done here!" in a very rude manner. I walked away and continued shopping for a porcelain tile that was the whole purpose why we drove up from Olympia went out of our way to come back as return customers, to buy something. There was no price on the tile so I asked the owner who is helping me and he replied in another rude comment, " why don't you call your designer and ask her the price..." I promptly told him that was not cool and very rude and my husband and I then left the store. This website promotes great excellent customer service but I can tell you that the owner that was there that day working was the rudest person that I've ever dealt with my whole life and as a customer I will never come back there. read more

I thought I would try another local floor supply company and I was very displeased to say the least. First of all, the store as nothing like what was featured on their website, there was not a lot of tile in stock and it was not much less than other flooring stores. Not to mention it seemed very cluttered and messy. Secondly, I'm very disappointed in the level of customer service... I spoke with Frank, he was the only one working and there wasn't anybody else in the store. Without any acknowledgement that I was there, I walked around the store for about 10 minutes before I approached him asking about pricing for a porcelain floor tile. He got me the pricing, however, what threw me off was the amount of curse words that he threw around so casually during our conversation. I'm not sure if that is just the type of person he is but I was very taken aback and found it very unprofessional. These are not the type of people I want to do business with. read more

This is perhaps the best shopping experience I have ever had! The fellows were extraordinarily knowledgeable and helpful, really taking the time to be sure that they understood what I wanted and presenting a great variety of tile in differing styles and prices. Instead of trying to find even one that I liked, I had many to pick and choose from to select the ones I liked best and coordinated well with each other and the rest of the décor in the kitchen. The tile floor and backsplash are all installed now, and I absolutely love how the kitchen looks. If there were a rating beyond five stars, these guys would have it.
