This owner was using the workers of LaCorte Landscaping to do his lawn maintenance contracts without the owners permission or knowledge. When I approached the workers sitting in a LaCorte landscape truck, I asked for the contact number for the owner of LaCorte. THEY did not give me LaCorte. They gave me Bertin Palacios number instead. They then proceeded to come to my house in a LaCorte maintenance vehicle, used the employees of LaCorte , did his businesses maintenance agreements on someone else's payroll time, and collected the check addressed to him for nearly two years. Recently the workers (who were really working for LaCorte but said Palacios was their supervisor) during normal business hours, refused to provide professional service as agreed to at time of contract. They mowed the lawn, refused to blow leaves off the entire property. Did 2/3 of property left rest looking shabby. Tried to say the leaves that had NOT been cleaned for weeks was due to a storm. That was totally false! When I complained to Palacios he showed up himself in a truck that did not say LaCorte but said Palacios. He became argumentative and problematic. I terminated his services. I was suspicious and called the number prior to making a public complaint against the truck that was showing up to my home. Only to find out that the real owner of the LaCorte business DID NOT know that this is what his workers were doing during his business hours...referring all his customers to Palacios (a different business) and using his equipment for lawn maintenance contracts without his permission. On top of that doing an incomplete job with the customer. Crooked!

We were super impressed with the quality of work, professionalism, and responsiveness of Angel and…read morehis team. Even with the COVID-19 outbreak going on, Angel was able to make an initial visit to survey our property and discuss projects within a day of sending an inquiry, and was professional about maintaining social distancing throughout the discussion. We had a quote in just over a week (even with the busy season just picking up) and were able to get started on the projects after a bout of rainstorms passed. Angel's team worked swiftly and professionally, and did a beautiful job helping us clean up our property. We had several garden beds that had not ever been properly edged and had fallen to disrepair before we moved in last summer, and they now look better than we could've imagined. They were able to clean out weeds and dead/dying plants, move a few plants around to rebalance the garden, trim bushes back, install a butterfly garden, lay new mulch, even out and fill divits in throughout the yard, and install a small fence -- all within 2-3 days of work. As noted, Angel runs a really professional team, and did an amazing job sourcing high quality plants, mulch, and fencing at very reasonable and competitive prices. Angel is highly communicative throughout in terms of giving heads up about the project status (especially when things change, like having to push our start date due to inclement weather).
