Paint Me a Party hosted an in office corporate event for a group of about 15 of us and we all had a…read moregood time and were able to walk away with a nice painting. All the paint brushes, paint, canvas and easel were all set up for us at individual stations in our office. Our instructor was great and guided us through step by step on the painting. For me being a fairly unartistic person, I was impressed with the final output I ended up with. Fun and relaxing event overall!

It was an intimate evening as there were only two other people booked, so it was like a private painting lesson. Our canvasses were set up with paint brushes and paint set out for us prior to arrival. They offer beer, wine, canned cocktails, water and soda, and don't allow outside beverages. There was only wine by the bottle so we ended up splitting a bottle with the other two attendees. I've attended a few other paint nights elsewhere in the past, and this night lived up to my expectations. I would definitely revisit Painting with a Twist in Chatsworth!

At the bar there is options to buy nonalcoholic and alcoholic beverages. We opted to get the Cherry Blossom Pinot bottle to share for our table, and I must say it was a very delightful wine that tasted perfect and light to sip on while we painted. Our painting was a lion, and I must say until almost half way through I just didn't think my painting of a lion was going to look like a lion, but we trusted the process and we followed instructions which were very easy to follow step by step, and in the end we all had lions! It's so funny that despite that we all follow the same instructions, our lions all were different sizes and looks haha! Our Instructor Ellie was so upbeat and friendly and helpful! My favorite part of the night was when we had started painting in the neon yellow color, when suddenly Ellie turned off the lights! Our paintings were glowing!!!!! Such a fun surprise the whole room did a collective "Oh my gosh!" at the same time LOL. This was definitely a fun experience that I would love to attend again! I recommend the Painting with a Twist as a nice fun night out with friends, Solo, or even on a date! Next thing you know, you'll have a whole wall of paintings!

They took care of all the arrangements for us, all we had to do was show up and paint! I loved how we had the option to choose multiple images for our guests, not just one, giving everyone the chance to pick what they wanted as their souvenir/masterpiece! Also, as events go, sometimes people end up cancelling, Mary and Linh made it very easy and compensated me, with a gift card. Payment was easy and done remotely. They took pictures for us and sent over to us and posted on social media. It was great hearing all the wonderful feedback from our party and how much fun they had! We were immediately greeted by our instructor Michael Falk. He's a very warm and personable military veteran. He was a big part of what made Paint Nite so fun! He kept things lively by cracking lots of jokes, made toasts throughout the night while wearing his kilt, and took his time to come to every painter to make sure everyone was having a good time. We painted "Galaxy At Pine Lake". As much as I love art, I can't do it if my life depended on it! Thankfully the painting was broken down into more-or-less easy parts to work on at a time so that by the end everything comes together. My painting still came out no better than a 10 year old's but I had a lot of fun! Paint Nite's so much fun and is definitely worth checking out if you're on a date, out with friends, celebrating your birthday, or just want something different to try. Everything's provided for you (paint, brushes, canvas, water, apron, paper towel) so all you need to bring is a positive attitude! Second time around it was far but I chose that night for the painting we would do. So I didn't mind. But this time around it was a hug group. We got there 10 min late so we got the worst seats. Witch I understand was our fault. But the teacher would go super fast and wouldn't come around to explain and Didn't have communication with us about how we were doing or if we needed help. I wouldn't mind giving it one more try because my first time was amazing but I definitely didn't like the last experience I had. The teacher was so out of touch with his students.

Who knew just 6 colors can create a beautiful imagery of calm and peace. Our instructor was very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the entire 3 + hour class. We arranged a time for me to pick up the cards and when I came to pick them up, they were in the middle of a class and the set up was so adorable. All of the art on display was very cute and I could tell that they really do some unique and fun art projects here. The owner was very kind and I was able to observe the class while making my payment. I think this is the perfect place for young artists. I definitely recommend getting a certificate as a gift option or treating your child to a class or hosting a party here.
