I recently called to inquire if I could purchase gift cards for drop in classes and the owner was so friendly and accommodating. They offer online gift cards on their website but I wanted to get a physical card to give as a present at a birthday party. We arranged a time for me to pick up the cards and when I came to pick them up, they were in the middle of a class and the set up was so adorable. All of the art on display was very cute and I could tell that they really do some unique and fun art projects here. The owner was very kind and I was able to observe the class while making my payment. I think this is the perfect place for young artists. I definitely recommend getting a certificate as a gift option or treating your child to a class or hosting a party here. read more

Let me start by saying I'm not particularly artistic but I enjoy the act of it. So when the opportunity came up to attend a decoupage class during the Fall season, I enthusiastically registered. It was such an enjoyable class--therapeutic, pleasant, and rewarding. And... I even got to walk out with my own masterpiece! As adults, it's so hard to find opportunities to make ourselves proud (outside of our day-to-day grind or careers), but this entire experience was just that! We just had my daughter's 9th birthday at Petit Bizoo. The owner Gassia has a very warm and hospitable personality, and you can feel her sincerity in her actions and love for art and people. Even though I just met her she made me feel like we were friends. Her assistant Katie was also great with the kids. Gassia and Katie took care of everything from facilitating the art activities, to passing out the food, then cutting the cake and serving it. Even walked kids out when their parents were there and packed up everything that was left over for me to take home. They did a great job engaging all of the girls and making the birthday girl feel special. My daughter said it was her best birthday ever. Mostly I like the owner Gassia she is amazing,regardless of her artistic talents she has a great ability to teach and be that fun teacher with some discipline,she does so well with all ages, specially with special needs children and young adults. I have a 22 year old son on the spectrum .He loves Gassia so much and mentions her name every Tuesday morning to confirm that we will be going the next day. We do mommy and me private lessons it relaxes me more than my son,I call it therapy time with nice music that makes you create super cool artworks. Last time I did ceramic art painting super cute soup bowls ,my son usually does coloring with his special technique and pattern that autistics love to do . I was so excited when Gassia suggested teaching my son to paint his pattern on a fabric ,which i eventually designed it and turned it into a skirt . I can't say enough good things about Gassia and Petit Bizoo! It's so hard to find great creative workshops and art classes in the San Fernando Valley, and I'm so glad Petit Bizoo is so convenient to get to. I have attended the workshops she has hosted for modern calligraphy with Angela of Truly Madly Ink and brush lettering with Amanda of Aria Paperie, and both times I have been blown away by the quality of the instructors and how much I learned. I had such a great time with my friends and still practice the skills I picked up in the classes with the materials that we got to keep after the class. Pricing was also very fair. Parking was super easy in the big shopping center. I have also seen the way Gassia interacts with the kids in her classes. She has such a natural connection with children and is so enthusiastic about teaching them about art and bringing out their true creative selves. Petit Bizoo and Gassia hosted a fund raiser we recently did for our school. A 1.5 hour art lesson for 16 kinders and it went without a hitch. The kids loved the activities and she was over prepared to assist the kids with anything they needed. She provided the materials and we provided the space. My ladies got together for a Paint Night at Petit Bizoo. We had a great time and Gassia was great to work with. She provided all the art supplies, instruction and allowed us to bring snacks. We all painted the same theme but because of Gassia's encouragement, we were very creative and each painting was different and all beautiful. Gassia is a very talented artist and instructor.! This is an absolutely phenomenal art studio. My three kids have been taking art classes with the owner, Gassia, for nearly a year now. We were so excited to hear that she was moving to a new location, and even more excited when we saw what a truly inspired and magical environment she has created for her students. More then simply techniques, she instills what I was most excited about--the love of art! Through her weekly, carefully crafted classes, she instills a true appreciation for art, in all its different incarnations. I have noticed a shift in my kids' attitude towards aesthetics, noticing that they are able to articulate what about the world around them they find inspiring or beautiful. They recognize famous artists and their works and draw parallels between day to day things they see There is nothing more precious than this. My kids are super excited about these art classes, unlike previous classes that they have attended that were all about technique and less so about inspired expression. They look forward to them and are disappointed if we need to miss one. . I have a five-year-old who recognizes paintings by Picasso and VanGogh!! The classes are always well-planned and all the materials are provided. The kids paint with acrylics and watercolors, they sculpt, they mold, they craft, etc. she uses super creative methods and materials. The only downside is that every week my kids bring home their precious creations, all of which are too amazing to store away, so my house is beginning to look like a children's' art gallery. Also, the classes are 1.5 hours long and you drop off your kids and leave. That's enough time to get some shopping and errands done. I can't say enough about Petit Bizoo!
