we bought very expensive chairs and a sofa from creative leather. we wanted battery operated recliners so we didn't have to deal with cords. Big Mistake!! The batteries have failed at least 6 times requiring new batteries. We didn't have the chairs 3 months before the first one failed. now they want to charge for the batteries even though each battery has been replaced, some multiple times. Good: love the furniture/ used them since they opened and had no complaints those first ten years we bought furniture for our homes and company/ Bad: customer care/ if you need repair or maintenance, it can take a week or longer for someone to call you back to schedule it, maybe it will be a few weeks later. To which they recommend outside referrals for repairs. When they expanded to open new stores they did not consider care or convenience for customers. Once again, I'm at the mercy of the Service Department. This morning I pressed the button to raise my feet and the chair went to place me almost horizontally, and then stopped working. The motor is OK, because the headrest will move forward or backward. I've had the service tech at the house three times, and they finally picked up my chair and took it back to the service department, but now its not working in less than 60 days. The service department is slow to respond and apparently not equipped with staff to fix problems, this is not something you would expect from a company that charges thousands of dollars for a chair. read more

Terrible. They don't stand behind their products. We spent more than $8k for a sectional that is less than 3 years old and we've had wear and discoloration on areas that are rarely even sit upon. We're a retired couple who don't exactly abuse our furniture and yet they refuse to acknowledge it is their product. They stated in your response 'we have great leather and we have had no other issues with it'. The question then becomes 'why are we having issues on such a great product?' Here's their proposed solution: "Due to the age & the leather of this sofa, We do not feel this is defective, It is just having some wear, The other sofa you had may have been a different type of leather, (it was a Coja) All furniture, even different areas will all wear differently... We can offer all new seat casings @ $100 each (they are usually $350) We want you to be satisfied" I'm not satisfied at all. It's actually insulting to offer me a discount on products that I would want to cover my supposedly 'great' leather with. At least offer it for free (not that I'd want it anyway!) We bought a much cheaper leather sofa from Costco years ago that had no issues even after 10 years. And still going at our son's house. And Costco stands by their products. Stay away!!! read more

We had a great experience at the Hayden Road store! Our salesman Frank R. was amazingly helpful, professional and friendly. We live in New River so it's an hour drive for us to get there. Not once but twice he brought leather samples to our house (he lives in the north valley as well). Yesterday when the furniture arrived, I was so impressed with the couch and love seat that we bought! The leather is beautiful and it's obvious that the workmanship on the furniture is top rate. Nightmare - STAY AWAY!!!! Nice leather, bad quality assurance and terrible customer service. If you buy something, absolutely do not allow delivery men to leave without making sure it works and has no tears. I have made previous purchases at Creative Leather and those went well. The quality of their furniture was amazing. However, I have had nothing but problems with a purchase I made in Jan, 2018 and the leather refinishing of an older piece purchased a few years ago. The new piece was delivered with a footrest that could not be closed. A repairman was sent to fix it; but, he was unable to do so. He said, "give it time and if that does not work, we will pick it up " "Time" did not change anything. I asked for the piece to be picked up for repair. They said they would pick it up when they delivered the refinished piece. When the men came to deliver the refinished piece, they found that the new piece not only had a broken footrest, but also had nail sticking out of the back of the furniture that tore the leather and prevented a full recline. After two weeks, I still do not the new furniture back. They keep extending the delivery date, as they are short-staffed. It is now two months since the original order. Also, unfortunately, the repaired chair was delivered without the footrest repaired as I requested. So, it has to go back too. It is hard to get anyone to answer the phone there. Honestly, it is a symphony of ineptitude and lack of caring about their customers that you could not make up. read more

Had a piece for a few days before it had to go back for repairs. Now realizing they did not do the down fill like they agreed to on the cushions. They did a foam and after 1 month in our house they are already getting a pretty major indentation. Cheap cushions unfortunately. It's a $5900 sofa set that I would say is worth $2800 max. Wasn't happy with the pricing either. A "level 8 for the price of a level 5". The leather on the leather match Natuzzi is much high quality. All in all, disappointed. Here is a tip. We had a great experience working with Steve last week on ordering a new couch for our family living room. After visiting the store in Gilbert, and finding close to what we wanted (but a little our of our price range) we visited the Showroom in Chandler. Steve helped answer all our questions, gave us lots of different pricing options when we couldn't decide what we wanted (ottoman or none, reclining or none, 10 feet versus 12 feet etc.) In the end he helped work with our budget to custom design a beautiful couch that would hold up to our 2 young daughters and 4 dogs. and he was super patient with us the entire time! I purchased a high end top leather sectional sofa from them back when they had a store in North Scottsdale. I ordered the couch in a dark brown color. After many weeks of waiting the sofa finally arrived, the quality was there, however what I received was a pumpkin color. I called to complain and refused it. They said it would be a couple more weeks. A few weeks later another sofa arrived, it was PUMPKIN color AGAIN. It took a good month to a month and a half till I finally received what I had ordered and in the color I had requested. I was beyond exasperated. I must say that the sofa has held up and the quality of the leather (Cibola)is so good that I have not seen it any where else. The original sofa was $7200 but after all the hassle I got the price knocked down to $4500. The Scottsdale store is no longer there. read more

Walked into their showroom today at about 2 o'clock and could not find anyone to help at all. No one working at the front desk. Some blonde haired woman came out of one of the offices and when asked if she works there said no and kept going on about her business. We bought a custom leather couch back in 2009 and it still looks brand new. It has weathered two kids since birth and two dogs and there are no tears, no scratches, and the foam padding has held up great despite it being our main sitting area. What great service. Outstanding! We purchased a leather sectional for our family room in 2004 from Creative Leather. It was custom made to meet the size requirement for the room. Over the years this piece of furniture has seen the most wear and tear of any piece of furniture in our home. One particular cushion the "spot" for our Golden Retriever. Her nails did a number on the leather. We took the cushion to the Creative Leather Factory Showroom to see if it could be recovered. Steve looked up our purchase and told us that particular leather was no longer available. We then checked leathers that were available, and found one so close that you couldn't tell the difference. They re-covered the cushion and I just picked it up. I put it on the sofa and it matches perfectly. What and outstanding job. purchased a sectional in August of 2014 that cost over $8000. The sales person spent quite a bit time explaining all the different leather choices we have. We opted for they told us was the best leather option they had. The leather is dyed and stain treated all the way through the hide, not just the top leather. We were told short of the leather getting cut or having an ink stain the leather would not have any issues with regular cleaning/conditioning. After less than 3 years of use the couch has severe discoloration on a back pillow and an arm rest. We have tried for 3 months to get Creative Leather to address the issue. We were originally to by Becky this did not appear normal. Then we heard nothing from them for 3 weeks, and when we did hear it was a repair person named Fred, who said this is normal for leather to discolor. It is due to body oil, incorrect cleaning or chemicals and we should have used blankets to protect the couch when we sat on it. Fred also mentioned it could be a bad hide but he would not know unless we brought him the couch so it he could try an repair the discoloration. Bringing the couch to AZ from Vegas was not feasible so we had the work done here in town. The repair did not work and we contacted Becky to help assist in getting the issue rectified. It has now been over 3 months since my initial complaint and Creative Leather has done nothing to help and takes weeks to respond to emails and phone calls, if they respond at all. I know have an $8000 couch that does me no good. If Creative Leather had mentioned once that this leather would discolor due to normal wear and tear I would NEVER have purchased the sectional. I have 15 year old leather recliners from another company that have had no issues and gotten more use than this couch has. The lack of customer service is appalling. read more
