I absolutely love Creative World! The staff are so supportive and helpful and really show care for my little guy. I love all the creative and fun projects the little ones get to do, it's very STEAM inspired. Creative world in Avalon park was one of the worst mistakes I could have made. The management team was disrespectful and unprofessional. One of many prime examples could consist of: talking negatively about families behind their backs, or with other employees. The management team was also biased towards workers and students. You clearly could see favoritisms, and strong dislikes. One employee may get in trouble for being on their phone, while others get away with it day in and day out. One child may be targeted for a possible delay in development, while other children with severe behavioral troubles are overlooked, not given guidance to get the right help. Frustrations amongst the management team were often taken out on the employees which hindered their abilities to give the children the quality care they deserve. Creative world Avalon park is all about money. They enroll too many children at times, so they don't have to turn somebody away and lose out. Therefore that would lead to full rooms and sometimes being too short staffed, often resulting in the children having to be shuffled to a different room, leaving the kids with no stability. You may drop off in one room but that doesn't mean that's where a child stays all day. There was a child, way to young for a classroom, still on bottles, who had to sit at the table to have the bottle instead of being held, and having that one on one social interaction. This was all due to being over full in the proper room this child belonged in, and being shuffled to a higher aged room. Furthermore, what the parents ask or want is mostly a no go. Parents don't have a say if their child is on a bottle come a certain room, if their child still uses a pacifier or lovey, that all stops in certain rooms regardless of the parents want, or what comforts the child. Management was also lazy at times, not giving their full effort towards the daycares proper functioning. Examples could include: times passing by in the main lobby, where management was either on their phone, or sitting making beaded bracelets. Another example, even on extra short staffed days, it was far and few in between you'd pass by a classroom and see management step up and into a classroom to help it run a bit more smoothly. This daycare holds no value. The employees deserve a non toxic, supportive, stable environment and creative world Avalon park does not offer that. Children also deserve these same things and then some, in order to have the quality care they deserve, which is often hard to be fulfilled due to the treatment and emotions caused by management. The number of people that left creative world, or un-enrolled their children, is plentiful, and that is only the tip of the iceberg. I highly recommend looking further than the friendly smiles that greet you at the door when you walk into creative world Avalon park. There's better out there. read more

A++++++ I have been thoroughly IMPRESSED with CWS!! I've had my son there for 2 years and he just graduated VPK. Both my husband and I agree moving him here was the BEST decision. I've tried others like ladybird and Goddard, and they were ok. But nothing topped the Amazing atmosphere and environment that CWS offered. From being greeted each day with smiles from the front office, to the teachers (we love Ms Eva!), my son was excited to go to school to share the day with them. He did so many things like dissected an octopus, had a flashlight space day, and presented a project he made to other parents! They combined learning with fun and I couldn't be more thrilled! So glad they were doing hands on learning! (and not just drawing on coloring papers quietly at a table). This was hands on engaged learning in a safe environment and I wish my other kids had gone to this school too! It's typical daycare pricing and right on par with all of the other daycares too (think it was actually a little cheaper than Goddard). And they provided lunch and snacks. The communication and extra event nights were awesome too! They send reminders and let you know what's going on and I really appreciate all of the staff and caring given to my son. We rarely write reviews but this is a warning to parents who might be considering enrolling their children here. We enrolled our toddler daughter in this "school" several weeks in advance as we returned to a new daycare, and after numerous calls and texts back and forth from the director attempting to switch our start date, did we finally get her to start on the date we requested. They were trying to switch our start date by WEEKS. To transition her into this new daycare (since it was new from our old daycare--we've been in a group setting/daycare facility before), we would pick her up three hours early every. Single. day. We essentially were paying $275 for part-time, but they didn't prorate us or care to assist us after she was enrolled. The teacher, Ms. Zunida, kept calling us to pick her up early every day, despite only offering us to pick her up early once. The teachers did nothing to transition our daughter into this facility. There was no "transition plan" implemented. You just fend for yourself. they even asked us to bring a photo of our family to show our daughter, but they never even put it up. They typically grabbed our daughters comfort item, "a blankie" and hid it from her in her cubby. Three weeks later, without any warning whatsoever, they called us 6 times (3 calls each, harassing my husband at work and leaving voicemails about how we need to pick her up again) and then proceeded within that same day to throw her out of the school because she wouldn't stop crying and "disrupting the class." She's 2 years old. As working parents, we had never been SO blindsided and treated so terribly without any warning or help whatsoever. But what has prompted me to write this review is the terrible feeling I've been pushing aside until after this happened to us. When I arrived to pick up my daughter 3 hours early on several occasions (we lost so much money from having to do that), two of the children (each 2-and 1/2 years old) who were crying told me that their teacher had pushed them. I told them that it was okay to cry, but that it might have been a mistake. I was there early in the morning for an hour and early to pick her up to see how they treated the children, but now given how my daughter had been behaving (alongside some of the children) and how she is happy this week in her new daycare setting, I am DEFINITELY worried and suspect that there was more happening at this facility than I realized. Based on those two separate incidents, how we were treated by the staff and how our daughter continued to behave with her new teacher who refused to listen to her, now I definitely suspect there was some neglect happening. They DO NOT have cameras SO I implore you to pay attention to your children at this facility in which they pride themselves more a "school" than daycare. read more

I have trusted the staff at Creative World with my son since he was 12 weeks old. From day one, I have been completely impressed. I get daily updates and many pictures through the week. The teachers truly pay attention to the development of the children, which is so important to me. I had a teacher conference when my son was less than a year old to go over his developmental milestones and areas to work on! My mother is a retired speech and language pathologist who worked in the school system. She has always said how impressed she is at how engaged all of the children are no matter what time of day she is there. The level of interaction helps develop language, which she sees with my son at home. The amount of work they put into the children and their development is exemplary. From the front desk to the kitchen, everyone knows my son, not just his name, but they REALLY know him! Just this weekend, he could tell me animal sounds for animals I've never taught him about! Not only that, but he can understand and respond in English and Spanish, some of the Spanish I don't even know! At almost two, my son is happy and thriving. Being a working mother, it is hard to leave your baby every day. But, I know that he is in the great and capable hands of people that love him and are truly there to teach and inspire him and I couldn't ask for more! read more

My wife and I were pretty excited about our daughter starting VPK here. Until after only seven days, she contracted a stomach bug and then, after returning, got covid. It was how the school handled this situation that completely turned us off and lose complete confidence that the school held the safety of our child as any kind of priority. Not once did they express any kind of concern for the well being of our daughter, but definitely made sure to remind us she could return after 10 days and we were still responsible for half of the tuition for time missed and never owning any kind of responsibility for the fact she contracted covid at their school. After calling around to a couple different schools and learning that they assume responsibility for illnesses picked up at their facilities and did not charge the families, we immediately pulled her from the program. As far as we were concerned, our relationship had been tainted beyond repair at that point to continue with them. Hopefully, with a little more time, compassion, and professionalism, they can correct their shortcomings for other families. read more

My child loves this school and me too. Every day, when I pick him up, he sais "mom I like this school!". He got sick just one time in 5 months, and for a kid in preschool is really a record. In the old school he was at home with fever one week a month... In CWA they care about child health, I mean it! They wash their hands every time is necessary. The teachers are lovely and well trained, and the activities funny and educational. My son learned a lot during last year. I give 4 stars and not 5 just because I think the food should be improved (chili or the mexican lasagna are not really suitable for a 3 years old...) but for the rest it's a great school. read more

I love Creative World; my son is 2 years and 5 months he has been in this school since he was less than a year old. I want to highlight the fact that this Creative World in particular has an amazing team of people. Not just the teachers but all the staff is amazing, when you enter you can feel a positive environment, everyone welcomes you. If one day my son comes to school in not a happy mood Tracy from the front desk shows him some stuffed animals they have at the entrance so he is distracted and feels better. When you have any concerns, Mrs. Isabel is always there help you with any concern, my son loves her. She is there to support the teachers, parents and the kids, I really appreciate her. So far, all the teachers my son has had are very happy and loving teachers, who love what they do. I speak to my son in Spanish all the time, when he comes from school he learns colors, shapes, and many songs in english. This school is full of love and I think is wonderful, the director Theresa Evans loves children a lot and is very aware of everything that happens in the school. read more

I love creative world... my daughter and son enjoy their teachers and staff as I do... they know their students by name and encourage excitement of learning... they keeps the parents aware of progression with parent teacher meetings... I highly recommend this school to anyone... my daughter is in vpk and creative world creates new ways of learning to ensure the children are ready for kindergarten and are continuously enjoying learning.. they as well create fun events like the most recent one VPK prom which my daughter loved and so did my husband and I who took her to her first prom :)... thank you creative world read more

We moved our daughter from another preschool to Creative World School when it opened last year, and she has flourished. She loves going to school and comes home to tell me all of the wonderful things that she's learned. This school shows kids that learning can be fun! I wish that we could stay another year for Kindergarten. read more
